I remember this blog from super long ago, its a shame ya had to quit (pause???) I hope things get better for ya and you can get back into it someday!

Actually I’ve been flirting with bringing this blog back. It was my pride and joy. I’m just constantly on the cusp of doing the thing. But then I back out.

So, ah, you still around? (Though not doing art)

Well, since I’ve gotten a full time job the amount of art I have been able to do has evaporated. I have a new appreciation for people who can manage both.

I miss the community and the people I’ve met through working on this blog for two years. I miss the pride I had from working on it so diligently.

I’m still around, Anon. Vero the person. I still draw in my sketchbook, and keep to my personal blog. But I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to come back to Rainbowshy, short of some how having my full time job replaced.

But I’m still here. Always.

This was supposed to be the beginning of the three of them going to a wonderbolts game, only to bump into Ladybug there, and thus start the parent arc.

Pages of Futures Lost 

This was supposed to be the start of a big arc following Sunset Shimmer and the Dazzlings. I wish I had the time to have finished it. It would have been a good story.

In the end the Dazzlings end up opening a cafe. Sonata is the brains behind the menu and meals. Aria is the business and money manager. Adagio is the advertising, HR, and people person. They all take turns waitressing and Adagio hates it.

The FLuttershy Clan

Finally here they are on the blog. I’ve had them designed and planned for a very very long time.

Meet Serious Business and Ladybug.

Serious Business’s colors as a pony was to be a pink and brown, while Ladybug was to be Orange and Red.

Ladybug was a beautiful pegasus when younger. She did some modeling, but mostly she was a secretary and office pony. Serious Business from a young age just picked up working at his father’s company, and continued to climb the business ladder. He eventually meets and marries Ladybug.

I had planned to include them into the story shortly after I had mentioned them. But kinda grew too unsure of myself and what I was capable of doing. You see I had based Serious and Lady off of my own parents. Ladybug ESPECIALLY resembles my mother. (The only thing Serious resembles of my father is they both have mustaches. I can’t recognize my father with out his.)

I was going to make the story about Fluttershy and her parents EXTREMELY autobiographical. Focusing on Ladybug. Serious wasn’t going to be too close to my father. I actually was planning on having Rainbow Dash’s father Blast be more similar to my father in personality.

Er... Once I found a design for him that didn’t seem like an exact copy of Rainbowdash with some more age lines? Woops.

Vero-senpai! Are you back? Even if only for a short time?

S-senpai??? No I’m not back for now Anon. A close friend of mine just has always meant to give me guest art, so when they found out I ended the blog, they managed to finish that up to give me.

So I thought I would post it for all of you as a gift, rather than sit on it.

You could technically a hiatus, because I want to return to this blog.But seeing as I dont know if, or when that will be, I'd rather just call it an honest ending.If only for now.

The April Fools is that there is no April Fools.

I'm actually serious about the end of the blog. You see, I have 2 day jobs, causing me to work 50 hours a week. I also have a neck injury that one of those jobs aggravates. So when I come home at the end of the day, its hard for me to sit up and draw. That all cumulates into the fact that I havent drawn for weeks. And I dont know when I will be able to again. Technically you could consider this a hiatus, because if I could, I'd like to come back and continue Rainbowshy. But I dont know if or when that would be. My life is going to have to be like this until I can either afford not to kill myself working, or something else changes. As it stands, my art isnt enough to get by. Every commission, and patreon helped keep me afloat, but I was still hemmoraging from my savings. I am blessed with everyones support, and if you feel like retracting any donations or pledges now that I wont be trying to draw regularly, I respect that. I wont be able to draw updates, but If people would like to hear the background info and eventual story arcs I have written down, then I'll be more than happy to post written updates. Thank you all for your support. I hope that sometime in my life I can come back and draw this again.
