#yes!!! #i was obsessed with these games as a kid #this is my favorite in the series #for people who haven't heard of it think stardew valley but wayyyy before stardew valley came out #theres farming and fighting in dungeons and crafting and a relationship mechanic and a story #and the games always start with the protagonist having amnesia

The boss fights are the worst part of psychonauts for me. I'll really be enjoying a level and then there will be a boss fight and it'll be the most frustrating thing until the next boss fight

Occasionally think about how Hasbro gave us an autistic power ranger, one of the only canon autistic super hero characters I can think of, and then was just like: you know what, you don't need any more of this and never made a sequel

Everyone talks about beer on the pier. Not NEARLY enough gifsets of Rodney running to John’s room in the middle of the night screaming his name and John holding him and saying “Rodney, Rodney, I’m right here, what’s wrong?” and “you’re still here, alright? You’re still here. And I’m not going anywhere.” and “you wanna hang out, you can can just, hang out 🥺”. Beer on the pier is good, but the scene right before that is truly the pillar of the episode. They really did that.

I was just thinking meeting my child self wouldn't go great. Child me would be like:

Me: Yeah unfortunately we stop growing at like age 13/14

Cm: Oh! Are we an archeologist?!! (Child me wanted to be an archeologist because of a massive history/ancient Egypt special interest)

Me: Yeah uh no, sorry bud, I work at a movie theater

Me: Yeah but like nowhere near as intensely. Simpsons kind of fills that spot now

They put The Mummy back in theaters for its 25th anniversary and I'm going to see it in a bit. Considering it an early birthday thing :)

i think it's insane that nonbinary people went "hey i'm trans, i'm just not transitioning to one of the two very specific ideas of gender you have in your head" and so many cishet people and transmeds went "ah so you're not trans, you're just quirky." like hello? i literally started the sentence with "i'm trans" are you okay? people can transition in more than just one of two extremely specific ways, carol.
