the Peter Pan tumblr discourse was allegedly over the costume actor having to retire due to aging and it showing on his face (whichis a bit ironic since Pan's whole thing is never growing up). I saw that post a lot back in the day and even heard someone talk about it in person. But i dunno how true it was or if it was already old news by the time it went viral. People were rebloggin' and arguing as if the discourse could get his job back… which is not how that works

It’s funny, I do actually remember one of the first Tumblr blogs I saw before I joined was a Disney blog that sometimes talked about the characters at the parks, and I remember them mentioning how neat Peter Pan was, but that was all I remember seeing of that. I don’t think I knew it was A Whole Thing.
