Also, I know not much has been revealed so probably won’t get any, but feel free to send asks to the characters. Maybe I can reveal some of the lore that way

Jhirvis is docile, timid, and submissive, but full of creativity and heart. He is a profound artsif, and what he lacks in physical ability, he makes up for in words. He has a talent for swaying others with a speech, if only he were brave enough to use it. Jhirvis is a talented singer, guitarist, and songwriter.

Gizem is a peryton who has had his wings pinioned. His bird features are based on that of a roosters.

little bit good, little bit bad, all around crazy. Gizem outwardly keeps up a persona of being clever, witty and charismatic. Beneath the surface, he is selfish, manipulative, and vengeful. He has little sympathy for those around him, much to the contrary of his profession. He firmly believes that the ends justify the means, and so isn’t afraid to do unspeakable things to achieve what he wants. He’s a good guy who’s bad enough to be a bad guy.

Contrary to his sadistic nature, Gizem runs an apothecary. He is somewhat of a crime boss and frequently dabbles in shady dealings.

Caelus is young, naive and reckless at times. He is pure hearted, always striving to do the right thing and help those in need. He is considered an old soul, and has an easier time coping with heavy topics such as death than others. He carries a deep sadness however that he can’t explain or find the root of. He tries to ignore this despair though some days he gives in and cannot muster the strength to even get out of bed. Only those closest to him know it’s there. Caelus says he feels as though he is always “searching” or “waiting,” but for what he doesn’t know.

Insecure and prone to melancholy, Bayu certainly doesn’t see himself as the prodigy he’s apparently destined to be. He’s good at putting on a mask of charm and charisma, however. But he carries an air of fear and aggression. Perhaps somethings going on at home?

Faijra can be rather stoic and cold. Outwardly she rarely shows any emotion other than anger. In the face of ridicule she remains silent. She doesn’t manage her emotions well, often choosing to bury them rather than allow herself to work through the pain. Often her pain comes out as anger. She is brave and selfless, always willing to step up to the task. She grits her teeth and gets the job done, not letting her emotions hold her back. She has a natural instinct to care for and protect others. Socially she is not a conversationalist and often struggles with finding the right words. Around friends she’s the chill and sassy type, and enjoys teasing.

“Lionhearted” I think is a good way to describe her.

A distant city and a raging storm. Some worship the sky as their god, believing it to be where the magic of their world gathers. Is it punishing them, perhaps? The storms are constant and relentless. The sky has incurred its wrath, that’s for sure.

Faijra and Bayu are insignificant village dwellers. Old friends, though those days have been lost to time. Bayu is an up and coming magical prodigy, while Faijra is apparently doomed to be a permanent outsider in the eyes of her peers.

When Bayu flees the village one day, Faijra chases in hot pursuit of answers. But the mess she’s flying towards is far more than she bargained for, and that distant city may not be as distant as she thought.

Barnstormer is an upcoming comic set in a fantasy world with hints of dystopia, inhabited by dragons and other mythical creatures. No release date for the comic is currently planned, but it is very much being worked on.
