idk how common of an experience this is but i find intense sculpted muscles on men to be actively off putting. if a man in a movie takes off his shirt and has a 6 pack i instantly lose all interest in him

i feel like i've become such a mean and cynical person over the past year and i really don't vibe with it... i wish i wasn't this way :( i do try not to let it out in my real life but unfortunately that means all of you on here get the toxic sludge runoff. sorry

#it depends on the kid #younger kids have a great capacity for yes-anding which i appreciate because it makes for a fun and surprising conversation #but kids of 10 and up are very good at sniffing out weakness #i have absolutely been bullied by preteens before and have no doubt that i will be again #but yeah on the whole i think i'm pretty good with kids! would like to work with them someday in a teacherly capacity #source: my cousins all adored me when they were small because i was a Cool Older Person with Fun Hair who let them do whatever they wanted #so i always got left on babysitting duty lmao

the problem with being mean to discern real allies from fake ones is that there's no finish line for it. There's no point where you have been mean enough and can now be sure that they're genuine. All you can do is escalate, be more and more cruel, demand bigger and bigger sacrifices until you hit the limit of what a person can take and then take it as confirmation that you were right to be mean and you should keep doing it. it's just not very productive
