Place for my random aesthetics n occasional obsessions (currently CR n TLT occasionally SDV and Bridgerton). I miss Loquatius Seelie every day. Header drawn by me! If you stumble by this humble blog, you can call me Bee 🇧🇷 I'm 23 ✨
" Well, about two years ago, I woke up pretty close to here, actually. I found my way to Uthodurn, lost, alone, very confused as to why I was here. I spent a few days watching, learning, and I heard her laughter. "
This FRIDA backstory has a very Frankenstein's monster vibe to it, that scene of him observing the family especially.
Actually, THEY BOTH have Frankenstein's monster vibes to them! Deanna being brought back from the dead (and after all that work, still unwanted) and FRIDA in this "learning to live" way of living, also a low-key 'looking for my creator' vibes that live in their interest about Aeor and their past.
The way brennan was so right about this and I didn't even comprehend. To be said, I haven't had the opportunity to play with them yet bc I'm a coward, BUT just holding them in my hands....
I love the sound they make. Truly clickety clacks! The holding the dice pounch containing one (1) dice set plus mini little d6s. Incomparable feeling
SO! I want false alarm Lady Whistledown discovery by Colin. BUT just because I really really want him to hear her using her Irish accent.
He's gonna catch her walking around the city street market and be like 'what on earth you're doing here on your own, Pen?' and she has to play it cool, say she's there for something she can't get uptown and he's like 'yeah Penelope wouldn't be doing anything wrong'.
It would also reason why he's following her when he does find out, cause 'oh there she is, my darling friend going shopping in skeevy places again, better accompany her bc it's dangerous' then she changes the route into the church and it gets real suspicious. Instead of just having him follow her for no reason other than spy on what she's doing which is not cuuuute.
And because I want her doing the Irish accent again!!!!!!
Oh yeeaaahhh… Fearne and Orym still haven’t told them about their friend Opal and the betrayer god vestige of divergence she walks around with at all times.
This took me approximately one hundred and fifty years to realize but (if I'm not interpreting wrong):
Laerryn "gives" Nydas ether, and he repays in monetary funding.
Since she's projecting the Ley Wright in secret, she couldn't use the funds of Avalir to build it nor could she pocket the immense cost of it, so her bargain of trade is ether.
While I would imagine it doesn't have the stability it would have had it stayed intact as Laerryn built it, I fully believe there's a man-made leyline shooting across to some other dimension and if you sail your boat into the wrong part of the Shattered Teeth, BANG, you're shot into the Astral Sea or whatever.
Part of me thinks, that the approximate spot of Laerryn's leyline is the most unstable of the ST though. I'm talking electric storms and whirlwinds and weird deep-sea creatures and unstable magic.
I also imagine it would either stay stuck leading to the Astral Sea or every X amount of years or every celestial solstice the coordinates would change and take you to a different plane each time.
I love how it's never questioned why Loquatius goes straight to their house instead of the Labyrinth despite not knowing if she's there, better yet, with a high likelihood of her not being there.
"You're home in the middle of the day!?" YEAH AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING THERE, LOQUATIUS?
Anyway, my headcanon is that he has keys to their house (it was a conscious and mutual decision) and yet he knocks on the door because he loves being announced and it drives her crazy.
