This is so sad 🥺

 Sometimes I like to think about how Snape unknowingly showed the other professors that he had a horrible childhood.

Like being really surprised and caught off guard that one of the professors gifted him a Christmas present because no one ever did that for him (except Lily maybe Lucius or Narcissa).

The staff being surprised that Severus didn’t know what most wizarding candy tasted like because he was never able to afford them as a child.

Almost tearing up when one of the professors remembered his birthday.
