the finale was just a big “fuck you” to bob, to bellamy fans, and to bellarke fans. bellamy was right (and madi died), so CLARKE killed him for nothing. clarke radioed bellamy every day for 6 years…and somehow he’s her “best friend” but she doesn’t hallucinate him, or even mention him by name. everyone gets to have a happy ending…except the one person who literally begged for peace and for his family to listen to him.

Ummmm. This man really thinks we don’t know how shows work and how tapings happen. Bob could’ve totally done more for this season. He had that whole standalone episode that probably took so long to film? They could’ve used that time.

Bob was also around a lot more towards the end there. He was in whole episodes and they just gave him a shitty storyline. They could’ve done so much more. That’s for damn sure.

They keep using Bob asking for time off as an excuse. They brought Lexa back for god’s sake. And they couldn’t get Bellamy in the finale for literally .0005 seconds when Bob already filmed so much with them? That’s some BS.

Over the years, I’ve realized how much I can hyperfixate on things that I’m passionate about. The 100 is definitely one of them. I’ve never felt so passionate about a show and I have never been so attached to characters and their story as much as I have been with this show.

It is a shame that it had to end like this. Most of us are pretty disappointed in how things turned out. Characters we adored and stories that we couldn’t wait to see unfold quickly turned into just tolerating the show to see how it ends and if our beloved ship are gonna get the ending that they deserved.

Nonetheless, I’m glad to have been a part of this journey. I’ll never forget the feelings I had when I first watched the show and how S1-S3 made my heart pound and made bawl my eyes out. It was amazing.

I also met some wonderful people along the way in the Bellarke groupchat. The fandom of the 100 can truthfully be toxic, but I found this little bubble where we can express our thoughts and talk while still being respectful and positive. I hope that even after the show ends, we’ll all still talk over there. I’m so glad to have met you guys and you all have made watching the show and being a part of the fandom so much better. ❤️

imagine developing a seven season long relationship spanning hundreds of years where they went from being enemies to allies to best friends and putting romantic subtext in nearly all of their scenes only to throw it all away..........oh wait

Sad or bittersweet endings can be good. I’m very much a fan of bitter endings and almost all my favorite movies have a bittersweet ending. BUT ONLY IF DONE RIGHT. It has to make sense. More and more people are trying to edge up their content by giving the characters a dark or sad ending even when it doesn’t make sense for the story. It’s incredibly annoying as a consumer to constantly have to suffer through these mediocre, horrible, edgy sad endings.

Stop giving characters and a show bitter endings to be a special snowflake that’s artsy and edgy. Make it make sense. If these characters were working towards a certain ending, give them that ending. Stop making it all about the shock factor and the unneeded angst and erasing these characters’ personalities and morals that they’ve developed for a long period of time. It’s disappointing, frustrating, and infuriating. And not in the good way where you’re just feeling for them and feeling the art. It just makes you angry at the creators which ruins the immersion.

Just bring back happy f*ing endings

Is that too much to ask?

There’s nothing new or edgy about bittersweet endings. We have enough depression in the world - let us have happy, soft endings to the characters we’ve invested so much in.

I can’t believe the show let the male lead, the hero of the show in his selflessness and love, die when he was not only ostracized and shunned by everyone he loved, but knowingly killed by his soulmate and dearest friend, who has been shown many times to always choose HIM over the rest of the world. I actually can’t believe it.

This is possibly one of the biggest narrative fuck-ups in the history of television.
