Coming up during our Weekend Gatherings Nov 9/10, 16/17, and 23/24!! Every fall, Reach Ministry hosts our Global and Local Partners during the Reach Conference event, spotlighting and blessing the missionaries as they gather at Big Valley Grace to inform our church family about their various organizations and ministries to reach different cultures and communities through compassion ministry, Biblical teaching, and Christian materials. We incorporate our partners into several BVG on-site ministries, home growth groups and throughout the Weekend Gatherings. Reflecting again on some of the great ways God was at work at our recent @truegirlofficial event! We had over 500 women and girls attending this year and we had some incredible personal STORIES! A mom and her daughter come from the Redwood Center and spent some sweet time with the young women who are a part of True Girl before the event! A mom drove from Sacramento to attend the event. She said it was worth the drive because her daughter had been struggling and she just wanted her girl to know the Truth that Jesus provides. That night her daughter prayed to receive Christ! At the end of the night a beautiful gospel presentation was shared and 20 girls came forward and made a decision to follow Christ! Thank you church family for praying for this amazing event! This Wed 6pm in The Venue!! During Spring Break 2020, we will continue a 25+ year tradition of loving and serving others and sharing the gospel. HSM is blessed to have a continued partnership with Niños de Baja, a Christian outreach ministry in El Porvenir, a tiny farm town 50 miles south of the California/U.S. border. Niños de Baja provides a loving home for children who have been orphaned, abused, or abandoned. There, each child is met with the love of Christ and the teaching of the Word. Our students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of service areas, including hosting Bible clubs for kids, helping local churches, and building structures for ministry that will be used for years to come. This trip offers a unique opportunity for students to grow in faith, as they boldly seek Christ and discover what "service" truly means. It is an unforgettable experience for everyone involved! Mexico sign-ups start October 16th, as we kick things off with a special event called Mexico Mania! Any student that puts down a deposit of $100 that night receives special pricing of $475 for this year's Mexico Trip. After October 16th, the price goes up to $525. Parents are encouraged to join us for Mexico Mania, as leaders discuss the trip, answer questions and share about this amazing ministry opportunity. We will have a Parent Q&A opportunity at the end of our gathering from 7:45 PM - 8:30 PM in The Venue.
