Thinking about how Lockwood is wearing his coat when he first sees Flo's footsteps in episode 6 and goes to investigate but has removed his coat and jacket by the time he sits to talk with her meaning he saw her dozing in the chair and decided to give her some time to sleep somewhere he knew she was safe.
The whole non-existent love triangle with Lockwood, Lucy, and Holly was kinda peak comedy mixed with Othello to me. Like Lucy is immediately jealous, Lockwood misreads that completely and responds by telling Lucy all of Holly's virtues, Holly's just trying to do her job and not be perturbed by 35 Portland Row's everything, and George is just suffering because Lockwood and Lucy can't figure this out at all.
And then, the skull keeps trying to encourage Lucy to kill Holly in a fit of jealousy that mirrors Iago trying to get Othello to kill Cassio over presumably sleeping with Desdemona. Although, the skull's not doing this for power, he's just got a unique experience where he gets to play an active role in this soap opera he's watching.
(I think I also remember a scene where Holly is about to meet Flo and Lucy's just kinda thinking, "well there's no way Holly would have a better reaction to Flo than me," but then Holly's just totally chill and Lucy's kinda seething. I personally believe that one of two things happened. 1. George informed Holly before she met Flo or 2. Holly spent enough time with the trio to have absolutely no expectations about anyone they interact with because clearly that won't be a normal person.)
It’s a well-known fact at Fittes that if your food gets stuck in the vending machine, you call Bobby Vernon to get it out. He’s the only one with thin enough arms to reach inside and dislodge things. Only problem is, he charges for his services.
If it’s crisps or sweets he gets to eat 20%
If it’s a drink he gets the first sip but you’ve never seen someone so small take such a big gulp, and he DEFINITELY backwashes
Nevertheless, the difficulties of the season had enabled some companies to thrive. One of these was Lockwood & Co., the smallest psychic detection ageny in London. Up until the beginning of the winter, I'd worked for them. It had just been me; Anthony Lockwood, who ran the show; and George Cubbins, who researched stuff. We'd lived in a house in Portland Row, Marylebone. Oh, there'd been another employee as well. Her name was Holly Munro; she was new, a kind of assistant to the rest of us. She sort of counted, too, I guess, but it was George and Lockwood who had meant the most to me. Meant so much, in fact, that in the end I'd been forced to turn my back on them, and go a different way.
FFFFFFFF IM SCREAMING AND PUCNHING THE AIR BC WHAT HAPPENS TO JESSICA’S LETYERS SKSHGSMAA
Knowing how dangerous the world is, Lockwood’s parents wrote three letters and gave them to their solicitor to be given to Lockwood, his spouse and Lockwood’s best man on the day Lockwood get married (they also did the same for Jessica). When Lucy is handed her letter, she goes to find the boys so the they can all open their letters together, even if it means Lockwood seeing her in her dress early.
I've been having a lot of fun playing around with markers! I decided to try drawing the part at the end of Lockwood & Co. book one. I've never really tried such intense shading before but I think it turned out pretty cool! :)

We were talking about how they’ve edited/removed/CG’d the buildings in background of this shot - which you see for all of 10 seconds - to make the location more canon-compliant!
They painted the PR house darker JUST for filming, for crying out loud!!
CF are masters of tiny details and they deserve to be able to finish what they started!!
There's so much foreshadowing of things that are revealed later in the Lockwood & Co books in the show and that just makes me even angrier that it was canceled because the pieces were being put down for later seasons.
Feel like something that’s not discussed a lot is how unapologetically sincere the show is. I feel like there’s a been a real push against vulnerability and sincerity in favor of cynicism or sarcasm in media, like there’s a fear that showing characters talking about how much they care about each other will be seen as “cringe” or unnecessary. And Lockwood & co just brazenly wears its heart on its sleeve in a way that feels really refreshing to me.
Thirty-five Portland Row, the home and headquarters of Lockwood & Co., was a very special place. Whenever the old black front door shut behind me [...] the weight of the world was lifted from me like a conjurer snapping a cloak up into the air.
This article lays out the reasons that L&Co fan went feral this week over the DBD trailer. Most of us wish no ill will towards the show (seriously- good luck to them) but the fact that NF immediately stopped promoting L&Co the VERY FUCKING DAY they acquired DBD is a kick in the teeth.
I thought we established that, if I had a running start, I definitely could
Cameron Chapman better watch out bc if I ever bump into him while I’m on my period or pms-img I’m straight up just gonna sob into his shoulder about Lockwood 🤷🏻♀️
