Important OOC announcement

Hi there! It's Ben, the guy behind this account, plus a few others (@me-and-my-6-corviknights, @plants-are-gay-pkmn, and @frosmoth-fan).

The whole Pokemon IRL/Rotomblr/Pokeblr/whatever we're calling it thing is really enjoyable to me, and I love roleplaying these characters.

However.

All of them feel really flat and like self-inserts (understandable with Ben and Skelly, since that's all they are, but still). It also makes me uncomfortable how I wrote Ben as me without all the frankly horrible stuff that I've been through, basically as a way to tell myself "No, it's fine, you're fine, just ignore it all". I think I mentioned quite a lot of that stuff in a post I made on this account specifically, when I was having an even-shitter time with my mental health than I am now. I'm safe, don't worry. But it all kind of rings false.

Plus, I have no consistent worldbuilding for these characters, and no idea where their stories will take them. With that in mind, I will likely stop using these accounts soon.

Don't worry, though! I'm planning a new character who may be joining Rotomblr soon, with whom I have attempted to avoid these pitfalls. Again, I absolutely love this community, and I hope that everyone else here feels the same.

If I'm honest, I've not had any experience with golurk, so I don't know much about them. They do seem pretty cool though! The whole perpetual motion machine thing, though? Bullshit. The laws of physics Do Not Allow For That (I will die on this hill)
