What the fuck is up, homies. The Demon's Head is now running through Etsy. To celebrate the month of April (idk), there's a 25% discount on the game throughout the month. Also, use the code OMNIPRESENT for free shipping anywhere.

This game is a culmination of years of trial and error with making a drinking game to play with not only huge nerd-dorks such as myself, but casual observers as well. I wanted a pick-up-and-play version of King's Cup where you don't need to spend 10 minutes deciding the rules before you start, and that allows great variation and chance between each game. Also, I wanted to get rid of waterfall.

G'day,
I've been working on a drinking card game for a few years, and I'm now finally dipping my whole hog into it and launching it as a Kickstarter.
Inspired by King's Cup, it's a deck of 55 cards, each with a unique rule. Link below:

Day 30: 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕾𝖙𝖔𝖗𝖞 𝕾𝖔 𝕱𝖆𝖗
Tumblr media
Here are all the cards shown so far, and that's only the half of it.
Kickstarter campaign is running for the next 30 days - come check it out and give it a back if you're keen.

Day 29: 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕯𝖊𝖒𝖔𝖓'𝖘 𝕷𝖊𝖋𝖙 𝕷𝖊𝖌
And now, we're finally into the tail end (heh) of the campaign.
Drawing this card commands you to pour your drink into the centre cup, up to a quarter of its total volume. If all four limbs have been drawn and someone holds the head card, the game is over, and the holder of the head must drink the centre cup.
Tumblr media
Thank you to everyone who has donated so far - we're 42% funded with 31 days to go. Any contribution is extremely appreciated - I'm hoping this can be funded to get this game out into the world.
Let me know if you have any questions about the game and I'll be happy to answer. Take care, all.

Day 28: 𝕾𝖓𝖆𝖐𝖊 𝕰𝖞𝖊𝖘
"Sorry... about your damn luck."
The player that drew this card selects a number from 1 to 6 and begins rolling a die. Until they roll the number they have selected, they must drink for every other die roll.
Funny story: I drew this card on a test run, and it took 16 rolls for me to get my number. I really shouldn't have broken that mirror under that ladder in front of that black cat named Macbeth...

Day 27: 𝕽𝖊𝖉𝖊𝖒𝖕𝖙𝖎𝖔𝖓
"Every Saint has a past, every sinner a future..."
When this card is drawn, whichever players holds The Demon's Head card must take 6 drinks and shuffle the card back into the deck, escaping their fate. If no-one holds the The Demon's Head card, all players drink for every Limb of The Demon has been drawn, plus one (card text will be updated on the full release).
Now, you may be asking yourself "if they're just shuffling it back into the deck, won't they have the chance to draw it again?".
Yes. Yes, they do.

Day 26: 𝕻𝖔𝖑𝖑𝖎𝖈𝖊 𝖁𝖊𝖗𝖘𝖔
Remember that bit in Gladiator where the emperor either gives a thumbs up or thumbs down? Yeah, that's Pollice Verso.
Pronounced "Poh-Lee-Che Ver-soh" in Italian or "Poh-Lee-Keh Wuer-soh" in Latin, it translates to 'With a Turned Thumb'. This card will have the group making a vote with their thumbs either up or down. Once the selections are revealed, tally up how many thumbs up and how many thumbs down. All players who gave the less-popular vote must drink once for each player who gave the popular vote.
Are you not entertained?

Day 25: 𝕸𝖔𝖓𝖔𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖎𝖘𝖒
Ever want to be the centre of attention? Well, here's your chance!
Until your next turn, all other players must look at you at all times (except when reading a card or pouring a drink). It's your job to keep a watch for the non-believers who dare look away from your presence.
Just try not to screw it up - all eyes are on you, after all.

Day 23: 𝕳𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝖔𝖋 𝕱𝖆𝖙𝖊
A head-to-head battle in the ultimate game of skill: Rochambeau. (The hand one, not the nut-kicking one).
Select another player to a game of Scissors, Paper, Rock. Whoever loses the battle must take 3 drinks. However, if you both throw the same action 3 times in a row, both of you must take 6 drinks.

As a sidebar, it's funny to me how there are so many different names for that game, all as different orders of the items. Please enter what you call it below:

Day 23: 𝕮𝖔𝖓𝖋𝖊𝖘𝖘𝖎𝖔𝖓𝖆𝖑
"Let he who is without sin..."
Veterans will know this game as 'Never Have I Ever' - rather than counting down from three, this is an all-or-nothing confessional. Whoever draws this card names something they have never done - all those who have done it must take 3 drinks.
If no player has done this, you must take 3 drinks. If every player except you has done this, you must take 6 drinks. That'll remind you to live a little.

Day 22: 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕯𝖊𝖒𝖔𝖓'𝖘 𝕷𝖊𝖋𝖙 𝕬𝖗𝖒
The third of the Limbs to be shown. This once again requires you to fill the centre cup with your drink, up to a quarter of its volume.
On The Demon's arm, we can see a little dragon. Her name is Petunia. She's mad as hell, and rightfully so; She's very small, and has no money.

Day 21: 𝕯𝖎𝖛𝖎𝖓𝖆𝖙𝖎𝖔𝖓
And just like that, here comes Apollo with the gift of prophecy.
Draw the top 5 cards of the deck, then rearrange them on top of the deck any way you see fit. The next 5 players will draw the cards in the order you chose.
If you're nearing the end of the game and there are less than 5 cards remaining, you must drink once for each card instead, which I guess is more of a gift from Dionysus.

Day 20: 𝕬 𝕹𝖊𝖜 𝖁𝖊𝖘𝖘𝖊𝖑
"Keep your words soft and sweet, because you may have to eat them later."
Whoever has drawn this card can reallocate The Demon's Head to any new player they choose. If it is not in play, all players must drink for as many Limbs of the Demon (Left Arm, Left Leg, Right Arm, Right Leg) have been drawn. (Note: I've changed this to be as many limbs +1 for production, to prevent any non-play rounds).
Been screwed over all game by one particular person? This card gives you the ultimate revenge, which, rather than being served cold, is served in a big glass.
