okay todays birds ive seen: i think i saw a female brown headed cowbird, saw two mourning doves in their nest, pretty sure i saw a black capped chickadee and its nest, lotta house sparrows, a female cardinal, merlin says i heard a cedar waxwing but i didnt lay eyes on them, the usual european starlings, a common grackle (i think he scared a kid, he hangs out near one of the main picnic areas), and Maybe a chipping sparrow? im learning to tell sparrows apart but its kind of difficult. the mourning dove nest was the highlight of my morning tho
