An Introduction

Hello friends, family, or accidental internet explorers! This is going to be the first of an ongoing series of blog/journal entries deemed “Behind The Mask”. 

As a band seeking to grow its’ base and brand it feels like we get very few opportunities to interact as sincere human beings with the people that have been kind enough to step into our creative world. Our branding and the laws of social media create parameters which dictate that we should only show our successes and creative triumphs, things that aren’t always an accurate picture. This creates a tendency to leave out some of the more real, educational, and human aspects of our experience as a band. I suppose part of me feels dishonest in this presentation of who/what we are, and as this creative world expands I want to maintain some form of open and honest communication with its’ inhabitants. Another part of me finds it endlessly entertaining to watch us stumble and bullshit our way towards realizing this pipe dream. Hopefully you will too. Enjoy!
