I think it would be really funny if you could get Wyll out of his pact by having Withers reclass him
Mizora over here pissed off because she didn’t anticipate Wyll being friends with the god of paperwork who would get him out of his devil contract for 100 gold, meanwhile he’s punching trees in half because he’s a monk now and giggling the whole time
so a friend and I re-watched the original Tobey Spider-Man movie from 2002 ((At home on a dvd that i already owned, i didn't go to the theater re-release))
these fuckers referenced Eddie Brock in the very first movie
but also there was SUCH a relatable line from Uncle Ben right at the beginning when he mentions getting fired along with his whole department. ""They're downsizing their people and upsizing their profits""
why the fUCK is that still painfully relevant over twenty years later i hate capitalism
it is a thing, but at my school only certain students taking the extra credit class did that. they had the baby dolls that made noise and stuff and literally carried them around the school inside of their mobile baby car seats and took them home for at least a week. I can't remember if it was a science class or part of home economics, but it was for kids who wanted to get a college level credit for like nursing or something.
i never had to do that myself, it was only for those students in that class.
still weird as fuck, though.
okay americans i gotta ask because as an European i grew up with lots of american shows and cartoons and in a lot of them there was an episode where they give the protags a doll or an egg or a bag of flour or whatever and told them pretend to be its parents or something
I know "60s housewives who invented slash fanfiction" has taken on a life of its own as a phrase, but Kirk/Spock didn't really exist until the 70s and THOSE WOMEN HAD JOBS. They were teachers and librarians and bookkeepers and scientists and they damn well spent their own money going to conventions, printing zines, buying fanart and making fandom happen. Put some respect on their names.
