ive been off tumblr for a while now, but im back and its so good to see your creatures again!!!!!!!! while i was gone i adopted a new cat solely based on the fact that her adoption pic online made her look like an alien and now that shes settled in shes a total freak and i love her
PLEASE reblog with her adoption pic if you have it, I’d love to see!!
Looks like baby Sundew enjoyed eyebrow rubs as much as Sasha does!
That photo of Sundew at three weeks continues to be one of the most powerful Good Brain Juice producing images on the internet.
Whenever I need more seratonin or dopamine, I will go through his old photos and just... stare at the dumb because it brings me such joy. I love this cat. I can’t believe he’ll be two years old in just a few months.
And since I am having a bad brain day to the point I had to call out of work and I’m sure other people are, here are, once again, some baby Sundew photos.
Re: rabbits and cats and dogs. It's funny you mention it bc my dog (lab mix) will often push the door and lock himself out and not be able to figure out what's happening and forget to bark to let us know, meanwhile my bunny learned how to open his cage without too much trouble, so i guess it depends on the animal?
that’s definitely true! I’ve also met some dim, DIM cats
not gonna name any names. not gonna specify. but WOOF.
I think re: rabbit & chicken intelligence, there’s massive variation between breeds. 2/3 of my hens are exhibition birds, meaning they’ve been selectively bred to look lovely in a judging cage. breeds that are known for foraging, are less tolerant of confinement, and are closer to wild-type (game and Mediterranean breeds come to mind) will have a LOT more going on in their little skulls!
