Recently, I made a Facebook post of my children baking. I received a comment on the post, saying that cooking felt like the 70's and that hardly anyone cooks nowadays. Well, call me old-fashioned, but I love cooking, and I believe that involving children in the process is not only beautiful but also comes with great advantages. Teach your kids to cook and bake! They might not end up baking or cooking for a living, but It will be a great skill that they will use for their entire life. It will help them relax, build self asteem, and most of all, it can be really fun. I promise that you won’t regret having your kids help make food in the kitchen. The photos above are me with my son, Hunter. We’re making food together. We’ve had so much fun baking together and we’ve bonded more. Them being in the kitchen making food teaches helping out instead of making mom do all the work. I challenge you all to try to get your children in the kitchen. Teach them simple steps and have them help.
Get your kids in the kitchen.
