Ik mystreet completely stopped being a modern mcd au and became it's own thing by season 2, but we were so robbed of the mcd characters + lore that was never adapted. Elves? No way. Bigglesworth?? Replaced by some dumbass spider with a shit name. Curses, fantasy creatures (wyverns & etc), and magicks??? No uhh only potions and Killer Eyes Superior King Alpha Werewolf

#I will never say that spiders name it is worthless #jesson made a modern fantasy series and absolutely fumbled the fantasy part #And fumbled the modern au part too #I just have really strong feelings against mystreet especially against the characterization #Aphmau #Mystreet

no hate on mys zane or anything but something I always found funny is that he supposedly put everyone through hell in the last two years of highschool and thats why nobody likes him in mystreet, but not only do they never actually say what it was that he did, he never actually properly apologizes to anybody about what he did despite supposedly turning a new leaf bc of aphmau

do they ever explain how/why the ultima stare can't affect meif'wa. Are all meif'wa also cursed souls or do they just have a Good Ending version of the ultima origin story and are all blessed souls. Or is it just because they're cats

Sometimes I wish there had been more development on modern magic in mystreet. It would've been great to learn more about meif'wa, witches, magical species as a whole, etc and how it's all adapted in a modern world

Everytime I try to write a fanfic of mcd or mystreet I just end up thinking of the whole story from start to finish in my head and realize a whole hour later that I never typed anything down

#I've only ever successfully wrote fanfiction Twice #It's just faster to imagine it all in my head and replay the scenario whenever I want #Aphmau #I'll be like “oh I'm gonna make a rewrite” #I put down some fundamental ideas #Then I just imagine everything that would and could happen #Until somehow it completely changes from the original idea

The dynamics in the minigames were just better than canon /hj

#Ik it's because it was the va's being free to improvise and act a certain degree out of character but like #I just enjoy how much more personality there is in the minigames #Also how it's where 90% of the other “characters interacting” would occur #Bc in canon mystreet there's only ever focus on like 5 characters and everyone else is just there at any given time #aphmau #mystreet
