A character can be hc-ed as ace and still be gay, people need to learn the difference between ace and aro before throwing labels around. Just say you're homophobic and move on.

the rainbow on erica's door isn't accompanied by a heart

there are many other rainbows on her room, probably to connect her and max. the only time a rainbow appears without a heart is with them. max has a rainbow shirt, rainbow bedsheets, and probably more that i don't remember

but there is a rainbow heart in nancy's locker, in between her and steve

i think the rainbow hearts represent something a little more complex than just byler

on its own, it represents undiscovered love

this is referring to the heart in mike's basement, that mysteriously disappears in season 3. why? because mike realized he loved will

a heart associated with a couple represents fake love. m*leven, st*ncy, both faked love. nancy never really loved steve, and it's likely he didn't love her either. so, with m*leven, the lack of feelings is probably mutual. with how much they've paralleled eachother, and with them both being the only couples to be associated with rainbow hearts

I have no pictures but everytime we see a rainbow in Strangerthings it has a heart with it.

I don’t know about you but that’s pretty specific (considering a normal rainbow has either clouds or nothing on the ends)

at first I thought maybe that the rainbow (with a heart of course) that had mikes name hanging on El’s wall was just how she or Will drew it but, the little sign on mikes basement wall also has a heart and I think the one on ericas door has a heart too but I’m not sure. And it’s hard to believe that in the whole stranger things universe that all of the rainbows have hearts.

So even if it’s not the connection to Byler (which it definitely is) it’s still a connection to something that’s has to do with an lgbtq relationship (it has to be byler)

i genuinely can’t think about millie bobby brown it depresses me so much that nobody seems to be looking out for this child. she’s been forced to grow up far too quickly (you can argue all you want that young girls are free to dress how they please and wear makeup if they want, but it’s ignorant to act like she hasn’t been pressured to grow up and look older than she is at a young age), overworks herself to the point of exhaustion (millie literally passing out in finn’s arms during scenes because they’re so much for her isn’t great acting, ti’s genuinely upsetting and concerning) and expected to provide for her entire family and carry a whole show and absolutely nobody seems to be looking out for her as much as they should. it doesn’t matter how talented or famous she is, she’s still a child and it’s horrifying that so many adults that are supposed to be in her corner have repeatedly let her down. she’s a child. she deserves to look and act like one.

i didn't notice this but wow. also when mike was looking towards jennifer hayes(was that her name? idk it was the girl that was crying at will's funeral), he looked sad, but when he turns to dustin and lucas, he smiles. further proof it has been planned since season 1. there's also a hella lotta other stuff that proves it was planned since season 1. it'd just be terrible if they never ended up at least addressing mike and will's mutual feelings for eachother

HOW IS NOBODY'S TALKING ABOUT THIS!

I just noticed in my st rewatch. (Don't ask why) the dialogue that goed over this shot is

"But, nothing not even tragedy can separate us from this love" and it syas this as Mike is in few! And we see Dustin smilling. He knows that's why he thought Lucas was his best friend. Because he thinks there is something more between them. I'm not okay this confirms it has been planned since s1.
