Some months ago, a gr00mer joined my server and I was almost immediately warned against them by friends, some of these friends were minors, who'd had to deal with this peron on a different server.

The moment I had the evidence, and had confirmed the person, they were banned, however, earlier today they joined the server saying "Remember me?", I didn't think much of it because they had a different username and I did not connect the dots.

A friend of mine did, however, and now the mods and I are going through every piece of evidence and every burner account this person has made on both Tumblr or Discord, because they have MANY.

This person is dangerous and it makes me sick that their Tumblr account even says they are against pedos and etcetera when I and many others HAVE seen first hand the evidence and had conversations proving these are lies and this person themselves is preying on children.

Do not engage with them, this is solely a warning to keep people safe.

Why made Cuphead want to get to know Christine more? I mean it's great he apologized and all, but he could just leave it there. Was Mugman the one who persuaded him to try to get to know her?

Correction, he wanted to start over, not get to know her better. It was never Mugman's decision but his alone.

You don't have to necessarily "get to know" someone better when you start over (this is from experience). The main point is as long as their past tension was resolved then its all good, you can just casually interact and it can stay to just that.

She was planning to sabotage them.

She doesn't really trust people. Given their first impression, she wasn't really okay with them.

In fact, she was planning to break things and frame them for it. However she thought about how much money it would cause poor mama Christine and decided to just accept them.

In the end she ended up trusting Mugman (not Cuphead though)

They were childhood best friends. One day they decided for reasons Christine would have to eventually adopt Teacup. So when she turned 18 she did.
