Recovery doesn’t have to be pretty. Often it isn’t pretty. But be careful to still be considerate of others through your pain. Make safe places where you can release anger so that you don’t become a ticking bomb that people expect explode. Be good to yourself and to the ones you love. The road to recovery is long and just cause you heal.. doesn’t mean that you’ve healed in a healthy way. It’s so easy to be bitter through the pain, but even harder is being kind.
