🍇: What sort of friend are they? Where are they in the group dynamic?

When he decides/realizes he actually cares about someone at all, he cares 100%. There’s no in between. He’s definitely protective and the ‘only I get to bully them’ type. It’s very important to him to make his friends happy. He tries to pay close attention to their likes and dislikes. So, he approaches them differently depending on the boundaries they set. Like being more chaotic with immren or more thoughtful about touch with Maidris or more sarcastic/bitchy (affectionately) with Maeve hahaha his dynamic mostly comes off as somewhere between ‘will do any stupid thing they want if it’s fun’ and doing his best to take care of or look out for them

🍍: Where does your OC feel most comfortable?

Definitely at home! He feels safest in the semi-peacefulness of home, but with Maidris and Immren he also knows he’s not totally alone which is comforting.

🍻: What's your OC's favourite comfort ritual? How do they calm themselves down after a rough day?

On an average rough day, he’d probably relax with a drink or two after work and try to find some kind of socialish outlet, whether that’s a 2 am hangout or just like lying on the floor of Immren or Maidris’ room lol

If it’s a really terrible day, he finds somewhere nice and quiet to go to decompress before going home. Just stares at a lake for like an hour, goes home, and then it’s arm prison for whoever crosses his path first. Jk maybe? but also I do think being held could fix him.

🍓: Does your OC have any particular scents they like? Or hate?

Oh gosh I haven’t thought about this. He definitely wears cologne often- along the same lines, he’d like candles. Somehow the ozone smell after rain feels right. and he’s sappy, so obviously just smells that remind him of the people he cares for💕

🍹: Does your OC have any funny anecdotes told about them?

We have probably talked about most of the ones I can think of. I think Maidris, Immren and Maeve can all share ridiculous anecdotes. I said awhile ago that Nox is the kind of person that when he’s drunk, he starts picking up wild animals. I think the possum incident is just one of many. He definitely has a lot of odd skills that he’ll randomly pull out as party tricks like knife throwing or lock picking. I have fully accepted in canon he just jumps off their balcony sometimes for a faster route- I love the idea of the neighbors witnessing that 😂

I’m answering all of these for modern au but there’s some similarities

🍑: What sort of traits does your OC look for in a Significant Other?

Initially, he gravitates toward people he can joke around with and share interests with. On a deeper level, and what really differentiates friends from significant others, he really wants people he can feel really known and accepted by. He’s used to being treated like a problem. He’s gotta be able to be weird and honest. SOs being there to talk to and being trustworthy and non-judgmental especially about his past/family would change his brain chemistry.

🍆: Does your OC have any favourite form of affection, physical or otherwise?

🌽: How does this OC feel about acts of affection? What's their favourite act of affection, physical or emotional?

These are super similar so I’m answering them together- Nox is very affectionate and enjoys receiving affection of any type. He most often expresses affection through time spent together and physical touch, but he often gives them little things that reminded him of them or made him laugh. Also cooking/keeping Immren and Maidris alive lol

Verbal affection is hit or miss for him. He can have a hard time expressing himself particularly if he’s unsure about the nature or intensity of the relationship, but simple statements are easy enough. If he’s secure in the relationship he can be quite intense. I like the idea that it just comes out of nowhere every now and then.

For receiving affection, he’s totally cool with SOs expressing affection differently than he does, and he tries to be cognizant of if his approach to affection isn’t as comfortable to them.
