Valentine's Day: SEES Edition
A/N: Happy Valentine's Day! I didn't have time to make any for the girls but I might post some later! This was also my first-time writing Shinji so hopefully he's not too out of character. Enjoy!
Word Count: 2886
Minato Arisato
You sigh slightly, turning a box of chocolates over in your hands. You were definitely making this out to be more of a big deal than it was. The school day had ended and you were still sitting there in the classroom. Yukari and Junpei had already left to go back to the dorms and Minato had wandered off somewhere as per usual.Â
You were planning to give this box of chocolates to Minato, just to show your appreciation for everything heâs done for SEES. But your nerves got the best of you. This morning, you had walked to school with him and when you tried to give him the box, you immediately went silent when he looked at you. And at lunchtime when you saw him in the hallway, you had turned on your heel when your eyes met.Â
You lay your head on your desk sighing once again. âDarn itâŠâ
âWhoâs that for?â
Your head shoots up from your desk as you look to see Minato standing next to you. You didnât even hear him come in.
âMinato! Youâre still here. O-oh, umâŠâ You stammer. You look away, tilting the box towards him. â...Theyâre for you, actually. Just as a thank you for everything youâve done with SEES and all.â
âOh. Thanks.â He takes the box and you let out a sigh of relief.
â âŠyou were really nervous, huh?â
You look at Minato, seeing a slight smirk on his face. âYou noticedâŠ?â
âKinda hard not to. You avoided me all day.â
âNot my faultâŠâ
He chuckles, âThanks anyways. I appreciate it. Next year though, itâd be nice to see your face when you hand these to me.â
Your eyes widen and your face flushes as Minato grins. âWanna head back to the dorms? We can share these.â
You laugh slightly as you stand up. âYouâre really something sometimes⊠yeah, letâs head back.â
You follow Minato out of the classroom, the two of you chatting quietly. Maybe things didnât go as planned, but in one way they worked out. Next year, you definitely would face him with a smile.
Junpei Iori
âDude, did Y/N give you chocolates?â Junpei asks as he sits on the couch next to Minato. Akihiko was also present, sitting on the couch across from them.
âYeah.â Minato replies, âWhy?â
âI also got some too.â Akihiko adds, looking up from his boxing gloves. âWhat? They didnât give you any?â
Junpei groans. âNo⊠I mean Yuka-tan, Fuuka and Mitsuru-senpai gave me some, but thatâs more of a teammate thing right? I dunno, I feel like Y/N and I are⊠more than that, or something.â
Neither Akihiko or Minato respond and Junpei groans again. âOh câmon, you guys have nothing to say?â
Minato shrugs. âDid you ask them out?â
â...no. I mean not yet at least.â
âThereâs your answer then.â
âDude, you're no help at all.â Junpei sighs, leaning his head back on the couch. âDid I do something wrong?â
âMaybe you just need to be patient. I donât even think Y/N came back to the dorms yet.â Akihiko says.
âBut the dayâs almost over! âŠOkay, Iâm going to look for them!â
Junpei gets up and heads out the door without another word. Meanwhile Mitsuru and Yukari enter the lounge from upstairs.
âHe has a bit too much energy donât you think? Should he really be worried about whether Y/N is giving him chocolates or not?â Yukari says with a sigh.
âHey, let him be. Heâs gotta put that energy to use somehow.â Akihiko replies.
Mitsuru sighs. âIf only heâd have that amount of energy when it comes to his studies.â
---------------------------------
âHuh? My package hasnât arrived yet? But I got an email saying it arrived todayâŠâ You say to the mail carrier.
âIâm sorry. It was expected to arrive today, but due to unforeseen conditions, itâs been delayed.â
You sigh. âI see⊠Well, thank you then. Could you give me an estimated arrival date?â
âIt should arrive in about 2 days.â
âGreat⊠thank you again.â
You exit the post office sighing once again as you start walking back towards the monorail. Well, there went your plans for the rest of the day. You wanted to surprise a certain someone with a co-op game the two of you mentioned playing together a while ago. You shouldâve known there was no way that the game would actually arrive on the day of. Sure, it could have been better planning on your part, but the whole thing had slipped your mind up until last week.
Suddenly you hear a familiar voice call your name.
âY/N! Finally, I found you!â
You look up and see Junpei running towards you.
âJunpei? What are you doing here?â
âIâve been looking for you. Damn, I had no idea where to look so Iâve been running around all over the place.â
âOh, I was on my way back to the dorms anyways. Were you worried about me or something?â
He chuckles a bit nervously. âUh, yeah something like that.â Then he looks behind you. âThe post office, huh? Picking up something?â
âAh, yeah I was, but it turns out itâs not here yet.â You smile slightly. âI meant to order it way earlier, but I forgot. Kind of silly of me to think that it would actually arrive today.â
âWas it something for Valentineâs Day?â
âYeah actually⊠wait, why are you asking so many questions?â Â
âN-no reason⊠Why are you getting so defensive?âÂ
You cross your arms, looking at Junpei with a smirk. âOhh, I see. You were looking for me because you were expecting a Valentineâs Day gift, right?â
Junpei scoffs. âNo, why would I be expecting something? Valentineâs isnât even that big of a deal.â
âUh-huh⊠so I guess you donât want your gift when it arrives then.â
His face lights up. âWait, you got me something? For real?â
âAnd here I thought you were worried about little olâ me.â
âHey, who says I wasnât?â
You laugh. âIâm just teasing. I appreciate you coming to look for me, even if it was only to get your gift.â
âAnd if my gift is right in front of me?â
A beat of silence passes and Junpei laughs nervously. âThat was lame, forget I said anything.â
âIt was a little lame⊠but I donât mind it.â You say, whispering the last part. âAnyways, letâs head back to the dorms.â
âDid you say something? Something along the lines of â I donât mind itâ?â
You donât say anything as you start to walk past him.
âHey câmon! Iâm just playinâ!â
Akihiko Sanada
âHey guys,â You say walking downstairs into the lounge. âWhat are you up to?â
âOh, hey Senpai.â Junpei says with a grin. He and Minato were sitting at the table with a large pile of small boxes in front of them. They were all wrapped nicely with ribbons. âWeâre just going through Akihiko-senpaiâs Valentineâs Day gifts.â
âUh, isnât that an invasion of privacy?âÂ
âNot necessarily. He gave us permission to look through them. You shouldâve seen him when he came back to the dorms. He had no clue what to do with all of it. He said we could take some if we wanted. Man, getting all of this from girls and he just gives it away?â
âWell, itâs not like heâd eat it all anyway.â You say, then you look over at Minato. âI didnât think youâd be taking some.â
Minato shrugs. âFree SP items, Iâm not complaining.â
âRightâŠso whereâd Akihiko head off to?â
âI think he said something about going for a run towards the shrine. He left not long ago so you could probably catch up to him.â Junpei replies.Â
âThanks, see you guys later.â
You set off towards the shrine hoping to find Akihiko. When you arrived, the sun was setting, the pink and orange hue gently enveloping the area. You spot Akihiko sitting on top of the jungle gym, looking at the sky.
âHey there Mr. Popular.â You say walking up. âYou look worn out.â
âY/N? What are you doing here?â Akihiko asks, a surprised look on his face.
âI heard from Minato and Junpei that you might be here. Mind if I join you?â
âYeah, come on up.â
You climb up the jungle gym and Akihiko gives you a hand to lift you up. You sit next to him, looking up at the sky. âSo, you had quite a day, huh? I saw Junpei and Minato with your gifts in the lounge.â
Akihiko lets out a sigh. âYeah. You wouldn't believe the amount of people in my classroom during lunch. Even the teacher had trouble getting them out of there.â
âHeh, I bet. I could hear those girls from down the hallway. âSanada-senpai, these are for you!â âHappy Valentineâs Day Sanada-san, please accept these!â And so on and so forth.â
He hums in reply, chuckling slightly at your impression. Silence settles between the two of you as you continue to watch the sunset on the horizon. Then Akihiko speaks up.
âSo, what brought you all the way over here? You weren't looking for me were you?â
âI was actually.â You say, handing two small boxes over. âYou're probably tired of hearing this, but Happy Valentine's Day, Aki.âÂ
Akihiko freezes when he hears the nickname and his face flushes, his ears are tinted red. You laugh a bit when you see his expression. âSorry, it slipped out. I must've picked it up from Shinjiro. Iâll be more careful.â
âN-no! I meanâŠâ Akihiko clears his throat, taking the boxes. âIt's fine. You can call me Aki⊠if you want.â
You smile. âMaybe I will. It's pretty funny to see you like this.â
âHey, don't tease me.â He sighs. Then he starts to open one of the boxes. âHm, dark chocolate?â
âYeah, you don't like sweets that much right? I figured you might like it better than milk chocolate.â
Akihiko nods as he takes a piece out, popping it into his mouth. âItâs good. Not too sweet, and it has some bitterness to it. This is something I wouldnât mind having every once in a while.â
âGood, cause I know how to make them.â
âYou made these?â
âI asked Shinjiro for help⊠which is probably where I picked up calling you Aki.â You chuckle nervously. âIf you want I can give you the recipe.â
âHm, how about we make it together then? Itâd probably be good for me to learn how to make something more complex anyways.â
âSure. We can get Shinjiro to join in as well.â
âHeh, heâd probably just yell at me whenever I do something wrong.â
The two of you laugh as Akihiko goes to open the other box. He unwraps it, revealing a small keychain, a pair of boxing gloves to be exact. He looks at you, holding it up. âYou got these for me?â
You nod. âI saw it at Paulownia Mall one day and you came to mind. Sorry, itâs a bit cheesy, isnât it?â
Akihiko shakes his head, a small smile appears on his face. âNo, I donât think so at least. Hearing you say that you thought of me⊠itâs a nice feeling. Iâll have to put this on my bag so that way I can think of you when I see it.â
This time you freeze at Akihikoâs words, you can feel your face flush as you try to come up with a response. You werenât even sure if he realized the effect of his words.
âHm? Whatâs wrong? Your face got all redâŠÂ well it is getting a bit chilly, huh? Do you want to head back to the dorms?â
âAh⊠yeah, letâs head back.â You say with a smile. You climb down the jungle gym and Akihiko follows you down.
âHey actually, how about we get some beef bowls? Itâll be the perfect thing to warm you up.â
âOkay,â You say, winking playfully before you take off running. âLast one there is paying!â
âH-hey! You got a head start, thatâs cheating!âÂ
Shinjiro Aragaki
âOkay, and now we waitâŠâ You mumble quietly, putting a tray of chocolates into the fridge.
Youâre currently in the kitchen, attempting to make a batch of chocolate for Valentineâs Day. Well, before the end of the day that is. Yes, you were a bit late, but for good reasons. Shinjiro was always away from the dorms so you couldnât really ask for his preferences in sweets. At this point, it wasnât any secret who you were making these for since you had to ask the other SEES members for information. Interestingly enough, there was no one in the dorms so you figured they all had plans for today.Â
You let out a sigh as you lean against the counter. To be honest, you werenât exactly sure what led you to make chocolates for him. Maybe curiosity? Despite having been a part of the team for a while, you barely knew anything about him. You werenât the most stealthy person; so when you tried to follow Shinjiro once, he immediately caught you and told you to go back to the dorms. You did try to follow him again a few times after that, but of course failed. He didnât seem much for conversation either so you never really talked to him, but you suppose you should have tried harder if you were really curious about him.
Just then the dorm doors open and you step out of the kitchen to see who it is.
âOh, youâre back early today.â You say, seeing Shinjiro walk inside.
He looks up at you then averts his gaze. âYeah.â He glances around. â...itâs quiet today. Guess youâre the only one here?â
âMhm, looks like everyone has plans.â
Shinjiro stays quiet for a moment then looks at you again. âAre you making chocolate? I smelled it when I came in.â
You nod. âIâm just waiting for it to harden. Want to wait with me? I could use the company, and you could be my taste tester.â
He lets out a sigh, stuffing his hands in his jacket pockets. âI might as well. Not like I got anything better to do.â
âPerfect!â
You turn on your heel, walking back into the kitchen as Shinjiro joins you. Once he steps into the kitchen, his attention is drawn to the bowls on the counter. âYou added filling?â
âYeah, itâs dark chocolate so I figured it would be a nice contrast. You arenât allergic to raspberries are you?â
âNo.â
After that curt response, silence fills the space. Well, this was more awkward than you wanted it to be. Your gaze falls onto the bowls and you walk over, picking one up and bringing it to the sink.
âUh, do you want to dry these after I wash them?â
Shinjiro only nods as he picks up a drying cloth and you start washing the bowls. It's only when you hand him a bowl to dry that he says something.Â
â...So, I heard you've been asking about me.â
You freeze slightly, then you chuckle. âYeah, I have. Let me guess⊠Junpei?â
âYeah.â Shinjiro sighs. âYâknow, if you wanted to know about me⊠you couldâve just asked.â
âI know. I just didnât want to bother you.â
âYou could just say you were intimidated.â
âNo-no! I wasnât. Iâm notâŠwell, maybe a little, but I was only asking the other members for good reasons.â You say handing him the last bowl. You turn off the faucet and dry your hands. âThose chocolates in the fridge are for you.â
Shinjiro looks at you in surprise. âMe?
âYeah, I guess you can consider them as⊠friendship chocolates? I was wondering what you liked in terms of sweets so I was asking around. I guess I went with raspberry filling since it's close to the color of your jacket.â
He looks at his jacket. â...I guess.â He sets the bowl down along with the towel and leans against the counter. âWell, next time, you can just ask me. Weâre teammates right? You donât have to be scared to ask me stuff. Itâs not like Iâll bite or anything.â
You laugh a bit. âRight, Iâll keep that in mind.â Your gaze turns towards the clock and you walk towards the fridge. âI think they might be done now.â
You take the tray out and set it on the table, touching one of the chocolates to see if itâs solid. You nod happily and pick one up to give to Shinjiro. âHere!â
Instead of taking it with his hand, he leans his head down to pick it up with his mouth. You freeze once again when his gaze meets yours, then he raises his head, chewing the chocolate.
âHm, not bad. This is your first time making it right?â
âO-oh, um yes.â You say, glancing away from him.Â
âNext time, you should try to add more cocoa powder for the bitterness. You were going for dark chocolate, yeah?â
âYeah, I wasnât sure how much to add.â
You feel his hand fall on top of your head as he ruffles your hair. âWe can make them together next time then. Donât look so down.âÂ
You smile, âI look forward to it then.â

Persona (game of your choice depending which is more fitting) gang's reaction to the Reader using a cardboard box by hiding himself within the box and remaining inconspicuous, and also uses it to escape the notice of enemy sentries and surveillance cameras (Basically like Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid)
A/N: Hi Anon! Thanks for requesting! So so sorry this took so long! This is my first time doing a character reaction request but I hope you enjoyed it! Had a lot of fun doing this one, so please feel free to request more!
Word Count: 2765
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Akira
Akira wouldnât be fazed at all. Maybe just a bit surprised on the inside, but on the outside, a blank stare or maybe a small smirk of amusement. He would wonder where you hid the box though. Under your coat? No, thereâs no way you could hide a box of that size under your coat. How did you carry it anyways? Whenever you would hide, the box always seemed to pop out of thin air. But even though your hiding methods were peculiar, the box did serve its purpose.Â
Besides Futaba, Akira was the first person to join you in your box hiding shenanigans. He was always looking for new things to test out while exploring palaces and this method proved to be fun. You could see the glint of mischief in his eyes as he would pull a box out of thin air and hide under it. As a Shadow approached, Akira would stand up, letting the box fly off of him. The Shadow would notice and immediately charge at him, weapon drawn. Then just as quickly as before, Akira would pull out another box and hide himself under it. You could hear him chuckle as you watch the Shadow look around in bewilderment. The glint of mischief, the tiny glimpse of a smirk that you saw before he hid back under the box; it was just like a cat toying with a mouse.
Ryuji
He would be the one who would loudly shout âwhat the hellâ and end up making you all retreat from the palace. But honestly Ryuji would probably get the reference. He probably never played the series before but heâs most likely seen it in memes and such.Â
"Oh they're doing that hiding under the box thing!" (Futaba would probably get offended by this remark.)
At first Ryuji would find the idea dumb. Thereâs no way that hiding under a box would actually work, right? It was huge, and stuck out like a sore thumb. Even he would be able to notice that it was out of place in the palace. But once he sees that the Shadows completely ignore the box, Ryuji would eventually use it to his advantage. Like Akira, Ryuji would also want to test his luck with the shadows. The first idea he had was to sneak up behind the Shadows, put the box over their head and ambush them from behind. A lot of extra work to do when you could just normally ambush them but it put a smile on Ryuji's face whenever he pulled it off.
Ann
Much like Ryuji, sheâd probably be surprised when she sees you hide under the box, but sheâd be more composed about it. Ann wouldn't normally want to hide under a box, but she would do it if it meant staying undetected and not having to leave the palace. She might complain a bit at first, since it seemed to be a hassle having to lay on the ground; but sheâll quickly get used to it.Â
One time while you all were taking a break in the safe room, you noticed Ann drawing faces on her box. When you asked her about it, she told you that she thought the faces would bring more life to it. You had to agree, the doodles were cute. So then you started drawing on your box too, and eventually all of the Phantom Thieves were doing it. It turned out to be a neat little stress reliever from exploring. But somehow, it ended up turning into a competition of whose box looked the best and you were appointed as the judge. As a joke, you voted for Ryuji which ended up making Yusuke snap a paintbrush in half.
Yusuke
Yusuke wouldnât have much of a reaction to be honest. Just like his reaction to Morgana the first time, Yusuke would just see it as something normal. To him, itâd just be your way of escaping enemy surveillance. Yusuke probably would also come up with different ideas of using the box. Seeing Akira and Ryuji attempt their ideas made him curious. If he painted on the boxes would they become noticed by the Shadows? The answer was no, as the paint only added some flair. Interestingly enough this led to Yusuke collaborating with Futaba on an idea she had. With Akiraâs permission and yours, you ended up being an art project. Specifically, Futaba wanted to have Yusuke paint the boxes and sculpt them in a way that could be worn like a costume.Â
Within a few days, you showed up at the hideout inside of a beautifully painted cardboard costume of Futabaâs favorite Featherman. Yusuke and Futaba were proud of their collaborative creation; both of them explained the details that went into it. The rest of the Phantom Thieves were impressed to say the least, that was until you all went into Mementos. The costume was meticulously detailed, the paint gave off a very metallic feel for something made out of cardboard. The only problem was that you couldnât move very well in it. When Makoto asks how Yusuke and Futaba got you to LeBlanc, they pull out a hand trolley that they used to wheel you there. Although the use of the costume was short-lived and never got to see any action, it neatly sits in Futabaâs room for the time being. Who knows, maybe one day youâll actually be able to use it.
Makoto
Makoto would probably tell you to stop messing around at first. Saying something along the lines of ânow isnât the time to play hide-and-seek with the Shadows.â She apologizes to you for saying such a thing once she sees that the Shadows donât pay any attention to the box. At first, Makoto wasnât sure how to approach the situation. While yes, the box was actually an ingenious hiding method, but she had her doubts about it. Wouldnât it just be easier to hide like you always did? The box did seem a bit inconvenient to pull out every time, and it did make ambushing enemies a bit slower.Â
It wasnât until Akira called a meeting per Futabaâs request that Makotoâs doubts were⊠somewhat relieved to say the least. You all sat through a 2-hour presentation about the Metal Gear Solid series, Solid Snake and the possible pros and cons of using the box to hide while in Palaces. At the end of it, everyoneâs attention turned to Akira as he sat in the back of the room, his arms crossed. The only thing he said was âOkay.â as he pushed his glasses up and gave Futaba a thumbs-up. With a loud cheer from Futaba, the room filled with chatter as Makoto only sighed with a small smile. To be honest, now she was completely terrified of what this could possibly bring on. But, this should be fine for the most part right? After all, you guys were still young. You should still be allowed to have some fun while trying to change society.
Futaba
To say that Futaba was ecstatic when she saw you hide under the box, was an understatement. A very severe understatement. Like Ryuji, she lets out a loud cheer which ends up attracting the Shadowsâ attention. Luckily there was a safe room right around the corner, so you and the Thieves duck into there. Once inside the safe room, Futaba would ask you a bunch of questions. Such as have you played the games and if so which was your favorite? Were you a 100% completionist or the type to play it once and be done with it? And so on and so forth. Futaba becomes a lot more invested in actual palace exploring rather than just navigating once the other Thieves start using the boxes to hide as well. She would beg Akira and Makoto to let her join in on ambushing Shadows. Even with all of the pleading from Futaba, they deny her request. This rejection ended up being futile anyway since you suggested that she join you in a Showtime Attack. And no one could stop you, not even Akira. Letâs just say that your Showtime was⊠too chaotic for anyone to stop you.
After that, youâd always hang out at Futabaâs place, playing different games with her. Eventually it got to the point where Futaba would end up hosting small game parties in Akiraâs room. It was friendly at first, just you all playing games together. At least it was friendly, until Ryuji suggested Mario Kart. Akira jokingly refers to that night as âthe night the Phantom Thieves almost broke up.â You guys donât mention that night. Ever.
Haru
Haruâs reaction would be similar to Yusukeâs, she wouldnât see much wrong with it. In fact Haru would find the idea very cute. Hiding under the box and then ambushing an unsuspecting Shadow? What fun! Everytime Haru would pop out from underneath the box, sheâd have a bright smile on her face as she swung her axe down. She also probably played a part in trying to convince Makoto that using the boxes to your advantage was a good thing.
In any case, Haru enjoyed the box method, if anything she was one of the people who really showed the advantage of it. Sheâd carry Morgana in one of the boxes if neither of them were chosen to be in the team lineup for the day. Seeing as the Shadows donât notice the box, Haru would suggest that she wanted to try something. Of course, Akira gives the okay and before Morgana can even process whatâs happening, Haru tosses the box towards a Shadow, leading to a successful ambush. She apologizes to Morgana for not warning him, and promises to warn him next time. He wanted to reject the promise, never wanting to be thrown again, but he couldn't bring himself to say no to Haru. This would end up being a mistake on his part as Haru came up with new ways to ambush Shadows. One of them included sliding the box with Morgana in it across the floor like a bowling ball. This soon became his least favorite thing about Palace exploration but as long as it was only Haru that was doing it, he was fine. There was no telling what hell the rest of you would unleash if he allowed them the same permission.
Morgana
Just like Makoto, Morgana would also tell you to stop messing around. Heâd tell you that youâd have time to play after you all were done exploring the Palace. Of course once he sees that the Shadows ignore the box, he doesnât say much about it anymore. Heâd actually become intrigued about how it worked. Morgana knew that the effect of cognition was strong, seeing as that the guns you all used were actually loaded when inside of Palaces. But could that effect actually extend to making a box unnoticeable by the Shadows? It was just an ordinary box, what was so special about it? Heâd ask you about it, wondering if it had something to do with your cognition of the box. The first answer you provided was that you had no clue of how it worked. After you thought about it some, your 2nd answer was that it was simply the will of the game mechanic. Morgana figured it was best to just let the conversation die there after that.
Morgana is most likely one of the only members of the team who doesnât use the box that often. Well, more like even if he wanted to, he canât. The box was a one-size fit all type of thing, that is for humans. When Futaba and Haru tried to convince him to join them, he refused at first. He was already fast enough to ambush normally, so adding the box would just be an extra step and a waste of energy. But of course, they kept trying to convince him, saying that it was a team spirit thing. Morgana would never admit it, but he was glad that Futaba and Haru wanted to include him in it; even if it was something as silly as this. Well, he was happy until the box he pulled out was the same size as the ones you all used. It was almost as if he pulled out a comically large spoon. It didnât help when the box fell on top of him and he popped out from underneath it and everyone simultaneously said âawwâ.Â
Akechi
Pre-third semester Akechi would just go along with it. If he needed a place to hide, he would hide under a box. He'd be a bit confused when he first sees you hide under it and then even more perplexed when the rest of the Phantom Thieves follow your lead. But he understands that it proves to be useful when you get yourselves in a tight spot.
Now with third semester Akechi, he would absolutely loathe having to hide under the box. That would be the last thing he would resort to if he had no other choice. Even if you tried to force him under it to avoid having to retreat from the palace, he would try to brute force his way through the enemies. Heâd still see the usefulness of hiding underneath it, but he much rather fight than hide at this point. To your disappointment, Akechi tends to try and avoid any situation that could possibly lead him into having to hide. However, on the rare off-chance that the situation is unavoidable, Akechi scowls when he has to pull out the box. You and the other Phantom Thieves can't help but laugh a bit when you see him throw the box off angrily as he stands up and simply continues navigating through the palace.Â
Sumire
Sumireâs reaction would be similar to Annâs, surprised at first but quickly regains composure. She would ask you a lot of questions, mainly due to her wanting to do everything in her power to help the Phantom Thieves. Even if it was a bit bizarre to her at first, Sumire would just go with the flow. She didnât question it and if anything thought it was fun. To her, it was somewhat of a team bonding sort of thing. Everyone followed your lead when the situation called for it, well some did it reluctantly, but Sumire felt as if it brought the team closer together.
Since she was a new addition to the team, Sumire was excited to learn and help out in any way possible. Sheâd watch you guys do different tactics to ambush the enemies, then sheâd do it herself. You couldnât help but be proud of her when she turned around after the battle asking âSenpai, did I do it correctly?â Eventually Sumire came up with her own ideas of ambushing while using the box to hide; she even pushed for Akechi to join in on the fun as well. Of course he refused, and then Sumire asked for everyoneâs help in trying to convince him. She wanted him to feel like a part of the team, and also maybe show a genuine smile. In the end, he begrudgingly agreed. It was fine until Akechi started getting a bit too⊠creative you could say. In a sense the âjumpâ in creativity could be due to your convincing statement that the box âwas just another way to strike fear into the heart of your enemiesâ. Yeah, not the best thing you could have said, but it sure did the trick.
Soon, Akechi was having a little too much fun with using the box to ambush that it put the whole team on edge. You were beginning to think that it was a bad idea. A very bad idea seeing that Akechiâs antics only got more violent as time went on. One day Sumire decided to copy Akechi, an idea that you, along with everyone else, advised against. But of course she reassured you all, saying that if anything this would make things less tense. And so, Sumire copied one of Akechiâs methods; it didnât have the exact murderous intent that Akechi had but it was a good effort. Akechi only stared at Sumire when she asked if she did it correctly. It surprised all of you when he laughed and told her it was a good attempt and that heâd gladly teach her how to do it properly. Well, at least Sumire was right in that the box ambushing brought the team closer together.
Is it ok if I request an Akira scenario where he's helping Y/N achieve her 'true persona'? How would he react when she achieves her persona? Or, different case scenario, how would Y/N react to Akira's "new form" when he gains HIS persona. dunno if this would work out, I've kinda forgot parts of the plot of Persona so I don't rlly remember where or when exactly this happened-
A/N: Hi anon! I'm so so sorry this took so long! I hope you enjoy!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wish (Akira Kurusu x Fem!Reader)
You let out a sigh as you stare at your phone, occasionally typing some words and then deleting them a few seconds later. Tomorrow, the Phantom Thieves were going to steal Marukiâs treasure and fix reality once and for all. You were a bit nervous, but you had faith that things would turn out the way you hoped. The only thing that was bothering you however⊠was Akira. Besides the short conversations you had with the team during palace exploration, you hadnât talked to him outside of that. You really wanted to, but you just couldnât bring yourself to text or call him.
It was silly honestly. He was your boyfriend, yet here you were unable to talk to him. When you two first started dating, Akira told you that he would always be there for you, no matter what. Whether you needed to vent, talk or just wanted his company, heâd be there. Yet what about you? You hadnât been there for him when he started the infiltration on Marukiâs palace. You had a hunch that things werenât right from the start of the New Year, yet you couldnât bring yourself out of that âperfect realityâ. You wanted things to stay like that, even if he wasnât by your side. Even if that was what you wanted the most.
Suddenly your phone rings, playing a ringtone you knew far too well. You glance at the screen seeing Akira's name and you answer hesitantly.
"Are you using our text messages as your grocery list again?" He asks.
âWha- no, why would you ask that?â
âWell, you were taking a long time to type so I just figured you were typing your grocery list out.â
âI wasnât typing out my grocery list for your information. Shoppingâs the last thing on my mind right now.â You sigh. âAnyways, howâd you know I was typing? Were you waiting for me to text you?â
Akira chuckles, âI mean when your girlfriend suddenly cuts you off, a guy canât help but wonder if he did something wrong.â
âYou didnât do anything wrong, Akira. Itâs just⊠you know things have been hectic. Weâve been so busy lately with Maruki and everything else.â
âSo busy that you canât talk to me?â
You stay silent. He was right after all. Akira had made sure you all finished planning out a path to the treasure long before the deadline. You had plenty of time to talk to him, but you just felt guilty every time you thought about it.
âSorry, I shouldnât have said that.â He sighs. âItâs just⊠I miss you;, you know? Weâve barely talked since this whole thing started. And Iâm not blaming you, itâs my fault too but if thereâs something wrong, I want you to tell me.âÂ
âI know, and Iâm sorry. I didnât mean to make you worry. I know itâs late, but I want to talk to you⊠can I come over?â
âNo need, Iâm already heading your way. Just wait for me, okay?â
âOkay.â
You hang up and put your phone down on the couch next to you. You were glad that he called but you also felt terrible. The last thing you wanted to do was make him worry, make him feel as if he did something wrong. You hated hearing him like that. Sure, you two had your fights sometimes but this was different. Not only did you betray his trust, but you broke your own promise to him.
Akira must have been closer than you expected because a few minutes later you hear a knock on the door. You go to open it, greeting him with a smile. âHey.â
âHey.â He replies a bit out of breath. âYou werenât waiting long, were you?â
âPlease tell me you didnât run here.â
âI didnât. Definitely not.â
You roll your eyes as you pull him inside and close the door behind him. âLiar. Come on in, before you catch a cold.â
Akira chuckles, âI only did what you told me to. Besides, I was going to show up uninvited, but Iâm glad I called you first.â
âSo thatâs why you said you were already headed over⊠Well, thank you for calling first.â You clear your throat. âAnyways, um, sit down. Would you like some tea or hot chocolate?â
He shakes his head, âNo thanks.â Then he takes a seat on the couch, patting the empty space next to him. âCome here. You donât have to be so nervous.â
âIâm not nervousâŠâ you mumble as you sit down next to him. âOkay maybe a little, but itâs just because we havenât talked like this in a while. Like⊠a serious conversation like this.â
âWould you believe me if I told you I was nervous too?â
âNo. Youâre always so calm and collected. If you are, I canât tell.â
âThen here,â Akira says, taking your hand and placing it over his heart. Even through his winter coat, you could feel his heart beating at a quick, steady pace. You glance up, meeting his gaze as he smiles softly. âNow, do you believe me?â
You nod, unable to tear your eyes away from him. Just how lucky were you to have someone like him in your life? Someone that easily washed away the doubts in your mind with a single action. Someone that was so kind to you even after how you treated him. With a simple action and a smile that melted your heart, Akira washed your guilt away. Itâs hard to believe that your âperfect realityâ didnât have him by your side.Â
âIf you keep staring at me like that, we might not get any talking done at all.â
Drawn out of your thoughts, you quickly pull your hand away from Akiraâs chest. âS-sorry, I was just thinkingâŠâÂ
âItâs okay. Still nervous?â
You shake your head. âNope, nerves are all gone. Thank you.â With a deep breath, you start. âWell, first of all, I wanted to apologize for how Iâve been these past few weeks. I didnât mean to cut you off like that, and my intention wasnât to make you think you did something wrong. Itâs just⊠I felt guilty.â
âGuilty?â
âMhm⊠the truth is, I knew from the beginning that this reality was off. Iâm not sure how I knew, it was just a hunch really. But, instead of telling you, I pretended to not know. Itâs just seeing everyone so happy⊠it wouldnât feel right taking that away. Yet in the end, I guess we all made up our minds anywayâŠâ You look down at your hands, fiddling with the hem of your shirt. âThe main thing is that I shouldâve been there when you first infiltrated Marukiâs palace. And yet I wasnât. Despite you always being there for me, I couldnât even be there for youâŠâ
âSo you knewâŠâ
You nod, feeling Akiraâs gaze. You knew that if you looked at him, you might just end up crying. He didnât sound mad, if anything it was more surprise and slight disappointment. To be honest, you werenât sure why you made that choice of not telling him. Maybe it was just how you were, you always had a habit of hiding things from people, even if you didnât mean to.
To your surprise he ruffles your hair, and you look up, seeing him smile. âIâm not upset. So donât look so sad. Iâm a bit hurt that you didnât tell me, but it sounds like you had your reasons, right?â
â...yeah. I didnât want to see our friends have what they wanted the most taken away from them.â
âAnd what did you want? You probably werenât affected by Marukiâs reality because you didnât have it.â
âIâŠâ You hesitate. Would it be selfish of you to say what you wanted? He was already right here next to you. Just like you wanted originally. However, voicing your thoughts aloud was different. If you told him, what would he think?Â
âThereâs that look again.â Akira says with a small chuckle as his gaze turns towards the ground. âItâs okay, you donât have to tell me now. Or ever, if you donât really want to. But just know that whatever it was, it wasnât selfish of you to think that way⊠I mean, all of us, me included, we have our selfish ways, donât we? Thatâs why this âperfect realityâ came about anyways.â
It wasn't often, but very rarely you saw this type of expression on Akira. It was distant, but there was also a feeling of longing. As if he was trying to come to terms with something.Â
â...perfect realityâŠâ You mumble quietly. Then your eyes widen in realization.Â
Tonight was the last day for Maruki to contact Akira. You felt stupid for forgetting something so important. Then you look at Akira. Did he have that same look throughout all of this? That look of loneliness? That look easily told you who else was on his mind.
"Maruki contacted you⊠right? To be honest it slipped my mind⊠even though it was something so important."
Akira nods. "Yeah, he contacted me."
"And Akechi was there too?"
He looks at you surprised. "How did you-"
"The look on your face. The last time I saw you with that expression was when he died. You two were really close, huh?"
â...yeah.â Akira sighs. âSomehow, Maruki heard of what happened to him and in order to give us another chance at being friends, this reality came to life.â Akira runs his hands through his hair. âIf we donât go through with taking back our reality⊠Akechi will be alive, and if we donât⊠well the answer is obvious.â
You stay silent, not sure of what to say. What could you say to this?Â
âItâs a lot to take in, right? Youâd think itâd be a simple decision after everything. But when someoneâs life is being used like thatâŠlike a bargaining chip⊠it just feels wrong.â Akira shakes his head slightly and glances at you. âWhat would you do if you were me?â
There was that expression again. How were you supposed to answer him when such a sorrowful expression painted his face?
âIâŠâ You begin hesitantly, trying to find the words to say. âIâd go through with what we started. Of course, using someoneâs life like that is just wrong, but I think itâd be best if we went through with it. I think Akechi wouldnât be able to stand knowing that we turned our backs on what we originally planned to do. If we did that⊠itâd just seem like his sacrifice in Shidoâs palace was for nothing⊠at least thatâs how I feel.â
Akira chuckles, âSounds about right.â He sits up, leaning his head back to stare at the ceiling. âI thought the exact same thing.â
âYou already gave Maruki your answer then⊠So why ask for my opinion?â
He hums in thought, a smile appearing on his face. âBecause your opinion is important to me. Why do you think I was in such a rush to get here, to talk to you? During this whole thing, Iâve heard everyoneâs opinions on what they thought we should do about this reality. Yet the one person whose opinion I wanted to hear the most, the person whose opinion is the most important to me, never contacted me to talk.â Akira turns to you, a soft expression on his face. âYou know Iâll always be here for you right? No matter what. So donât keep your feelings or thoughts locked inside.â
You blink a couple of times, feeling tears start to prick at your eyes again. You chuckle slightly as you look away from him. âYou sure do have a way with words. Makes sense that youâre our leaderâŠâ With a sigh you face him with a smile. âIâve made up my mind. No more keeping to myself. It wouldn't be fair to you, making you worry. I want to be someone you can rely on too.â
You couldnât explain it but somehow, you felt different after you told Akira that. As if your soul felt stronger somehow, as if a voice in your head told you that you had changed. You werenât exactly sure what this feeling was, but you knew that you wanted to give back to Akira after all heâs done for you.
You hear him chuckle, about to say something but you place a finger on his lips. âNope, I know what youâre gonna say. That you already rely on me for a lot, but let me have this okay? I want to trust in this feeling that I have, that I can be stronger for you and the team. If I canât truly confide in you, then who am I to even wish for you?â
âYou⊠So that was your wish?â
âI-â Your face reddens in embarrassment as you take your hand away from his face and avert your gaze. You didnât even realize what you had said.
âOh, what happened to âno more keeping to myselfâ?â Akira teases. âCâmon, be honest now.â
Your face reddens even more as you look down at your hands, mumbling slightly. âI wished for you.â
âOne more time? I couldnât quite hear you.â
âI wished for you! There, happy?â You shout as you look at Akira. He had the widest smirk on his face. You grab the pillow next to you and smother him with it. âWipe that grin off your faceâŠâ
âWhat? A guy canât be happy that his girlfriend wished for him? You donât have to be so embarrassed. Yâknow itâs cute that youâd wish for something you already have.â
âJust please⊠shut up.â
He laughs and suddenly you feel his hands on yours as he lowers the pillow so he can look at you. âBut seriously, Iâm really happy you told me, even though you said it without realizing. You said it with such conviction, I wasnât sure if I heard you correctly. You feel⊠stronger.â
âYeah, yeah. Youâre just saying that to make me feel better.â
âMm, I think I can prove otherwise.â
You laugh as you look up, meeting his eyes again. âYeah? And how can you-â
In one swift motion, Akira closes the gap between the two of you, his lips pressing onto yours. It was quick and sweet; you didnât even have the time to react with how fast it happened.
As he leans his forehead against yours, you can hear him whisper, a bit of playfulness laced in his voice. âBelieve me now?â
Part One | Part Two
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ever since your little outing with Childe, your weekly sparring sessions with each other felt...different.
Youâd find yourself wanting to talk more with him during your breaks. Hearing about his hometown, his family. All the while, his eyes would sparkle as he talked about them. Youâd sit next to him quietly while he fished, but recently heâd always start up a conversation with you; mainly regarding on how you were doing with your fighting style ideas and about your hobbies.
âWhat do I do for fun?â You ask, surprised at the question.
âYeah, any hobbies? I mean you must do something other than meeting me every week to spar.â
You avert your gaze from Childe, turning your focus to the ocean in front of you. âI... go for walks.â
âWalks?â
âYep.â
Childe bursts out laughing as you glare at him, your face red from embarrassment. âWhatâs so funny?â
âYou couldnât come up with a better excuse? Maybe that just shows how much you enjoy our sparring sessions.â
âItâs not an excuse. I just...walk around looking at people fight.â
âHuh, you might be more of a fighting addict than I am.â
âAm not. Unlike you, I donât try to pick a fight with everyone I come across. I was just...you know, looking for that spark.â
Childe hums in response, âLooks like that led you to me. Quite lucky if I do say so myself.â
You wryly smile, âSure, sure, lucky me. I suppose youâre not too bad. For Fatui standards at least.â
âHeh, if you keep saying things like that, we might just have to cut our break short.â
âMaybe...â You say a bit absentmindedly as a question comes to mind. âCan I ask you something?â
âSure.â He says, casting the line on his fishing rod into the open sea.
âWhat made you want to join the Fatui? I mean, itâs just that your nature doesnât really fit in with them.â
âThat so? What about my nature doesnât fit in with them?â
â...Your kindness.â
Childe glances at you as you continue to explain.
âIâve said it before, but I realized it when we played hide & seek with those kids at Liyue Harbor. Maybe itâs because you miss your siblings but... despite the line of work you find yourself in, you make it point to show kindness to those around you. Even to someone like me who disliked you in the beginning.â
âAre you sure I wasnât just being nice to you because you were a pretty face?â
âHey, Iâm being serious here. Besides, Iâm pretty sure the Fatui donât let anyone off the hook because they have a nice face.â
Childe chuckles, âOkay, okay, you got me there. Anything else you want to add? I do love getting these types of compliments from you.â
Rolling your eyes, you stand up. âAlright, break timeâs over. Iâm in the mood to kick your butt again.â
âWell, you are certainly allowed to try.â
------------------------------
About two weeks later, you meet Childe at the Golden House for your weekly session. You were a bit confused as to why, but Childe only met you with a smile, saying that youâd see next week. So here you were, standing outside of the Golden House, making sure you were far away enough so the Millileth couldnât see you.
âPsst. Y/N, over here.â
Turning around, you see Childe pop his head out of a bush.Â
Before you can even ask why the two of you are here, he simply gestures for you to follow him, mentioning something about a secret entrance to get in.
You find yourself by the side of the building as Childe effortlessly jumps up onto the roof. He holds out a hand to help you up, which you take, and he pulls you up. To your surprise, thereâs a small trapdoor on the roof which Childe opens and jumps down into the building.
You almost yell at him for being careless, knowing how far the drop is from the roof to the ground, but you stop yourself when you see him land perfectly on the ground.
âHop on down! Iâll be sure to catch you.â
You hesitate, looking down at the distance from the roof to the ground where Childe stood.
âCâmon, surely you arenât afraid of heights?â
You shake your head, speaking nervously, âOf course not... but... you will catch me, right?â
âI promise.â
Childe grins and you jump down, a few seconds later you land in his arms.
âYou can open your eyes now Y/N.â He says chuckling, as he lets you down.
You step onto the ground, averting your gaze from Childe when you see him smirk, âThanks. So... what exactly are we doing here?â
âWell, letâs just say I got a bit impatient waiting for you.â
Puzzled, you look at him, only to be met with a blade of water coming inches near your face. Youâre taken by surprise, so a scratch appears on your face as you step back.
Childe laughs with a grin, âThat look on your face, you look as if you were about to be killed.â
âWell, you did attack with that intention, but I see what youâre trying to do.â You say pulling your weapon out. âGuess the best way to spur on some ideas is a surprise attack.â
âGlad you caught on. Just hope youâre prepared; Iâm going all out today.â
âI wouldnât want it any other way.â
With that, you run towards Childe, slashing your weapon upwards as he blocks with his blades. To your surprise, he switches forms, turning his blades back into a bow. It almost feels like the both of you are moving in slow motion as your eyes meet.
Using one arm to push against your weapon with his bow, Childe seemingly conjures up an arrow in his other hand and draws the string back. With the way the bow is positioned, the tip of the arrow points at your forehead. You attempt to push your weapon a bit more, trying to move the arrowâs path away from your head, but to no avail.
You can see Childe wink at you as he suddenly pushes the bow upwards, shooting a hydro arrow that is sure to fall back to the ground and land on you. Drawing your weapon back, you dash forward and thrust your palm into Childeâs face. A burst of Electro flashes as you feel your hand hit his face. You take this chance to swing your weapon down, but heâs no longer standing in front of you. Suddenly you feel a hard kick to your back, and you roll to the ground, coughing as you hear Childe chuckle.
âPlaying dirty, are we?â He says, wiping some blood from his mouth.
Wincing a bit, you stand up with a laugh, âOh, Iâm just getting started. Câmon now pretty boy, is that all you got? I might start falling asleep over here.â
Childe smiles as Electro begins to spark around him, âI was going to save this for later, but since you seem bored, weâll take things up a notch.â
You watch as his body transforms, a large one-eyed mask dons his face, and his body seemingly grows larger as dark purple armor covers it. Standing in front of him made you feel like an ant, but similarly to when you first met, your heart was pulsing with excitement. You wanted to win this fight.
Your vision glows as your weapon becomes imbued with Electro and you summon an Electro blade in your other hand.
He appears in front of you with a flash of purple as his Electro polearm swings down towards you and bursts of Hydro shoot up from the ground. You counter his attack, pushing against the polearm with your weapons. You grit your teeth as you can feel how much stronger Childe is in this new form. You can feel yourself being pushed back slowly and suddenly a flash of purple appears in front of you as youâre knocked off your feet and tumble to the ground.
Childe had dashed using Electro and now appears above you, his weapon coming in fast as he plunges towards the ground. You feel around quickly for your weapon only to notice it flew across the room. You roll onto your back, summoning Electro weapons and brace yourself for impact, hoping that this wouldnât kill you.
Your weapons clash against each other as Childe lands on the ground with a force that is strong enough to shake mountains. The pressure on your chest is almost enough to crush your lungs as you struggle to push the point of the polearm away. Your vision begins to blur, and your eyes begin to tear as you attempt to clear your mind. You could feel your arms beginning to give out as your mind scrambles for a solution.
Think Y/N. Think. How do you get out of this? Youâre not strong enough to push him back and within a few seconds youâll probably lose consciousness. Is there any way to distract him somehow? Wait, distract himâŠ
You think back to your conversation with Childe a few weeks ago. You told him that as a pastime you often just walked around Liyue looking at people fight. You picked up some skills from observing them, so maybe, just maybe your idea would work.
You force your eyes open as you focus all your strength into your vision. Your gaze falls onto the ceiling, and you silently pray that this works. A few seconds pass as you feel Childe push his weapon down with more force and you grin as you see two flashes of Electro above.
Every time you came across someoneâs fighting style you liked, you always made a point to practice it, Childeâs included. The truth is, you were always working at this skill, but it would always fail no matter how hard you tried. Making mirages of yourself do different combat skills was difficult. You always practiced it after your training sessions with Childe, and every time you did there was improvement. It was just a matter of perfecting it before you were going to finally tell him you wanted to fight him at his full power. Sure, the day came way sooner than you expected, but seeing that your hard work finally paid off made you ecstatic.
The two mirages come crashing down onto Childeâs back as he lets out a grunt and flings them off. You take the opportunity to get up as you stand with your mirages at your side. You once again focus your power into your vision, seeing as Childe was still stunned from the attack.
Your mirages overlap with your own body as you start charging up a powerful attack. As Electro courses through you, you canât help but grin and look at Childe.
âCheckmate.â
You slash forward with your weapon, and it sends Childe flying. You jump up, flashing through the air as a purple spark and plunge your weapon down near his head as you fall back to the ground. The air whips around your face as you fall quickly due to your vision still coursing through your body. With a loud crash and dust rising from the ground, you hold your blade against his neck as you breathe heavily.
Although only a few seconds pass, it feels like an eternity before Childe finally speaks as his transformation disappears, his dark blue eyes are staring into yours.
"Breathtaking."
"What?"
"You. You are breathtaking."
You canât think of a response as your brain is trying to figure out the meaning behind his words. Then suddenly he leans his head forward just a bit to meet your lips. It only lasts for a few seconds before he lays his head down again, but you can feel your heart about to pop out of your chest.
A few more seconds of silence pass and then Childe speaks up with a sigh. âLooks like you beat me again.â
 âAgain?â
âYeah, I fell for you first, and you beat me in a fight just now.â
Your face flushes red as you avert your gaze from him. âI guess so⊠but, whoâs to say I didnât fall first?â
Childe raises an eyebrow as he grins, âOhoho, Y/N, have you been in love with me this whole time? Iâm flattered.â
âI still have a weapon in my hand, you know.â
âTouchĂ©. But⊠Iâll say this now. I love you Y/N.â
You look into Childeâs eyes, and you can tell heâs being serious. With a sigh, you dissolve your weapon and cup his face in your hands. You lean in, pressing your lips against his and pull away a few seconds later.
âI love you too.âÂ

A/N: Iâve been on a long hiatus but Iâm back with a short drabble inspired by Enna Alouetteâs song Birds of Time. This isnât intended for any specific character, but I wouldnât mind writing a longer fic.
Word Count: 269
C/W: Angst
---------------------------------------
Cold.
Thatâs what you felt as your limp body was picked up and gently placed on their back. As your eyes struggled to stay open, you hear them speak.
âYou have to stay awake for me, okay? Iâm not letting you close your eyes until we get home. Youâre going to be just fine.â
Home.
A word that filled you with a warm feeling. A place that held all the precious memories you loved. A thought that was always on your mind. Home.
As warmth continues to fade away from your body, you slip off of their back, landing into the cold snow. Blood seeps into the snow, painting it a scarlet red.
âHey! Hey, honey, I need you to stay with me, okay? I need to take you home.â They yell, cupping your face gently in their hands.
You smile lightly, coughing a bit before weakly bringing your hand up to their face. âHome? Iâm already home, silly.â
You feel tears fall onto your face as they quietly mumble that you need to stay awake as they try to pick you up again.
âSweetie, stop. Please.â You softly say.
The tears keep on falling as their eyes meet yours and you gently stroke their hair. âYou are my home. So please, donât see me off with those sad eyes.â
Your hand slowly drifts to the ground, soon lying still beside you. With your final breath, you whisper a quiet âI love youâ and your eyes finally close.
Stifled sobs can be heard as snow begins to fall again, and a single phrase drifts along the silence.Â
Youâre home.

i read your childe ff and can i just say youâre an amazing writer bc you captured his character so accurately (the fight scene was so well written too) and i like how y/n is straight forward, i loved it so much so if you have time can you do a part 2 where y/n starts to have feelings for him? Iâll be looking forward to more of your works!!
A Dazzling Spectacle [2] (Childe x Reader)
A/N: Ahh, thank you so much Anon! It really means a lot to me knowing that I can write charactersâ personalities accurately. I hope you enjoyed this 2nd part and feel free to request again!
Part One Here
Word Count: 2253
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
âToo slow! You gotta be faster than that if you want to beat me!â
âArgh, shut up!â
You swing your weapon as it comes centimeters close to Childeâs face but he only grins as he takes a step back.
âYou know, getting angry is only making you slower.â
âThen you,â You dash forward, swinging your weapon downwards causing it to clash into Childeâs blades, âshould stop being so annoying.â
Childe shrugs as he pushes his blades against your weapon. His strength is so strong that the force manages to push you to the ground. âAnd maybe you could be a little less predictable.â
You let out a sigh, hugging your weapon to your chest.
Since you met Childe that one day, the two of you have had weekly sparring sessions. You could feel yourself getting better at fighting, but creating that dazzling spectacle that Childe had every time he fought, was another problem.
âWe can take a break; you look worn out.â Childe notes, sitting down next to you. âSomething troubling you? Youâre more irritated than usual.â
âYou know I wonder why that is? Oh right, I have Mr. Pretty Boy over here edging me on.â
âHey now, is it really me thatâs edging you on or are you just letting my words get to you? Also, Iâll gladly take that compliment.â
Your face flushes from your comment but you roll your eyes. âOf course, itâs you. You and your...stupid face.â
Childe laughs, âAnd thereâs the insult. Now then, whatâs really going on in that pretty mind of yours?â
You turn to look at Childe, suddenly noticing how close he was to your face. You push his face away, averting your gaze from him. âYou are very annoying. Besides, why do you care about whatâs worrying me?â
âAm I not allowed to care about my sparring partner? If something is taking your focus away from me and the heat of battle, I do think I have the right to know.â
You set your weapon down beside you, glancing at Childe. âWell, I know you wonât stop bothering me about it, so I guess Iâll tell you. You better not laugh though.â
âI wonât. Promise.â
âI... Iâm frustrated.â
âFrustrated?â
âItâs been 2 months since we started our weekly sparring sessions. I can feel myself getting better at fighting but... Iâm nowhere close to making my fighting have that breathtaking illusion.â
âWell, for starters, you should try coming up with your own style of fighting. From what I can see, youâre trying too hard to copy me.â
âCopy you?â
âYep. During these past few weeks, I noticed youâve been mimicking the way I fight. But your Electro Vision does put some limitations on that.â
You let out a sigh. âI donât even know where to start on trying to find my own style.â Then an idea comes to mind. âOh, what if you fight me while using your Electro vision? That could give me some inspiration.â
Childe chuckles, rubbing the back of his neck. âCanât do that now, wouldnât want to lose my advantage in battle. However, I suppose we can make a deal.â
âA deal?â
âWhen you figure out your fighting style and manage to make that spectacle youâre looking for, Iâll tell you a little bit more about myself and use my full power our next fight. How about that?â
âOh, so you have been holding back on me.â
âI didnât say that now. I never hold back, especially against you.â
âYeah right. Also, Iâll pass on learning more about you.â
âRude. Weâve been meeting up for 2 months now and weâre still practically strangers.
You shrug, âNot my fault.â
âSays the one who immediately shuts me down when I try to ask anything about you.â
âHm, unfortunate. Anyways, Iâll take you up on your deal. We can shake on it, so no take backs.â
To your surprise, Childe extends his pinky towards you.
âWhat are we, five?â You ask, giving Childe a weary look.
âYou make a pinkie promise, you keep it all your life. You break a pinkie promise, I throw you on the ice. The cold will kill the pinkie that once betrayed your friend, the frost will freeze your tongue off so you never lie again.â
âA nursery rhyme?â
âMy siblings and I would recite all the time back home. Consider this as me keeping my word to you.â
You let out a small sigh, hooking your pinky together with Childeâs. âAlright then, you better keep it.â
âI never break my promises,â Childe says with a grin. âNow then, what do you say we call it here for today and grab a bite to eat in Liyue Harbor? You do owe me for saving you that one time after all.â
âDonât remind me. Well, it wonât hurt to get dinner I guess.â
âPerfect.â
Childe stands up quickly and takes off running towards the direction of the Harbor. âLast one there pays for our meal!â
âH-hey! Thatâs cheating!â
---------------------------------------------
Panting as you walk up to bridge to the Harbor, Childe greets you with a smile.
âTired Y/N?â
âHeh, you think? That was cheating by the way. You got a head start.â
Childe shrugs, a smirk replaces the smile on his face. âTrue, although you really had no reason to worry. I was going to pay anyways.â
âAnd how was I supposed to know?â
âWell, maybe if you accepted my invitations all those times before, this could have been avoided.â
âYou are a jerk.â
âAs youâve told me many times before, it wouldnât hurt to get a new nickname though.â
âWhatever, so where to?â You ask as Childe begins walking, gesturing for you to match his pace.
âLuili Pavilion.â
âWha- Luili Pavilion? Thereâs really no need for all that food.â
âI disagree. We did all that sparring today and you canât tell me that it didnât work up an appetite. Besides, whoâs the one paying?â
You sigh, âYou have a point.â
Silence settles between the two of you as you walk side-by-side past the shops and other people on the street. Since you started meeting Childe for your weekly sparring sessions, you noticed little things about him.
One thing was that he enjoyed fishing. You learned that the first week after meeting him. You didnât question it when you had arrived on Yaoguang Shore, but once you saw Childe sit down and fish after your few rounds of sparring, you had to ask. He explained how his father used to tell him stories while they ice fished when he was young. Since he was on his own now, he used fishing as some sort of meditation. According to Childeâs words, it was his way of reflecting on his battles.
The other thing was that as a member of the Fatui, he sure stuck out. Of course, you noticed this when you first met. However, youâd be lying if you said you werenât surprised to see Childe in a street act when walking through the streets of the Harbor one time.
He was odd to say the least. You didnât know much about him, which was all due to your unwillingness to know more about him; however as much as you hated to admit it, he was right. The two of you knew practically knew nothing about each other, excluding the little things you would talk about during breaks from sparring.
You and Childe already acted as friends somewhat, so it was only normal to want to know him a bit better. Right?
-------------------------------------------------
âFor someone who was objecting to all that food, you sure ate quite a lot.â Childe remarks as the two of you walk out of Luili Pavilion.
âItâs your fault for ordering so much. I didnât want it to go to waste, thatâs all.â
"Even though I'm the one who paid?"
"It doesn't matter if you or I paid. The chef made all that delicious food for us, so finishing it all would be the best way to show our appreciation."
"You're a very kind person aren't you Y/N?"
You chuckle a bit, "Is that what you think of me? Even after I've made no attempt to get to know you these past couple of months?'
"Well, you asked a lot of questions about my hometown and Snezhnaya during dinner. Besides, even if you treat me with unkindness, I can still tell you're a kind person."
âWell, youâre a kind person too, Childe.â
Childe freezes up for a second, his footsteps coming to a stop beside you. Youâre about to ask whatâs wrong when a group of kids run up to Childe.
âMister youâre back!â
âCan we play hide and seek again?â
Regaining his composure, Childe bends down with a smile. âHide and seek again? Will I be seeking again this time?â
âNo, youâre too good at seeking.â
âAnd hiding.â
The kids nod in agreement and one of their gazes lands on you.
âDo you want to play with us?â
Surprised, you give a small smile. âOh, um-â
âTheyâll play.â Childe says grinning at you. âYou do know how to play hide and seek right?â
âO-of course I do.â
âGreat, you can be the seeker then. How long should we make them count for?â
â30 seconds!â
âNo, 100!â
Childe stands up, â100 it is then.â He glances back at you, winking. âThese kids are pretty good at hiding. Well, get to counting!â
With that, Childe and the group of kids run off in the opposite direction as you cover your eyes and begin counting to 100.
You sigh as you finish counting, removing your hands from your face. With 100 seconds, Childe and the kids could have hidden anywhere, especially when you consider how big the Harbor is.
You decide to check the docks first since that was the direction they headed in. You knew they probably would have changed their hiding spots within the 100 seconds, but it was worth it to check.
As you search around the docks, you look under every nook and cranny, making sure to cover every area. When youâre about to leave the docks to check elsewhere, you hear the quiet giggles and shushing of voices coming from the boats. You made it point to check all the boats, but perhaps you missed them at one point?
Peeking over a couple of boxes on the boats, you see Childe seated on the floor with the kids surrounding him. Little fish and whales made of water flow up and down as the kids watch them in awe.
Looking up Childe gives you a grin, âHuh, looks like weâve been caught.â
The kids look up at you and begin to giggle again.
âI thought it would have taken longer to find you all. I didnât expect you all to be hiding together.â You say.
âWell, thatâs because Mister Tartaglia started making cool animals with his vision!â
âYep, yep! It was super pretty, so we went around gathering everyone else to come look.â
âThought you said these kids were good at hiding?â You ask, looking at Childe as he stands up.
âWell, thought Iâd make it easy for you since it would have taken you forever to find us.â
âIt wouldnât have taken me forever. Iâll take you up on that challenge next time.â
Childe chuckles then bends down ruffling one of the kidsâ head. âWeâll be back soon to play again, okay? Donât cause your parents any trouble, now.â
The kids all nod in agreement, thanking you and Childe for playing with them and waving goodbye as the two of you wave back and walk away.
âI would have thought for sure you were the youngest out of your siblings.â You say glancing at Childe. âBut seems like youâre an older brother.â
Childe nods with a soft smile. âYeah, I have three younger siblings at home. Teucer, Tonia and Anton. I have two older siblings as well, but I often send presents and letters to the younger ones.â
âWhat a doting older brother. Theyâre fortunate to have you.â
âAnd as I am fortunate to have them. Well, what about you? Any siblings of yours to write home to?â
You shake your head. âNo, itâs just me and my parents.â
âI see. Well, Iâd like to meet them one day.â
âWhat?â
âTo congratulate them on a job well done of raising you. Youâre kind, strong. Passionate about the things you love.â
âAlright, I get it. Iâll be sure to tell them myself.â You say, averting your gaze from him. Clearing your throat, you look ahead. âAnyways, we should part ways. Itâs getting late.â
âI can walk back with you.â
âNo, thank you. Giving you the chance to find out where I live is asking for trouble. You would never stop bothering me and show up at my door at 3 A.M just to spar.â
âSharp as always Y/N.â
âBut I wouldnât mind meeting up more often.â You mumble quietly.
âOh, are you falling for me, Y/N?â Childe teases, grinning from ear to ear.
âI am not! Weâre friends now so we might as well start meeting up more often.â
âSure, sure. Keep telling yourself that. Well, then Iâll see you next week.â
Childe starts to walk away but before he does, he takes your hand, pressing a kiss to your knuckles. âThanks for tonight, it was fun.â
Without another word he walks away, and you blink a couple of times before shaking your head slightly, a light blush on your face.
âSee you next week.â
Can I make a p4 request? How would the investigation team react to their shadow selves coming into the real world as seperate people
Hi Anon,
It's been a while and I have tried working on your request but I haven't played much of Persona 4 yet. I have only gotten up to Kanji's Palace. Originally I was going to do Yu, Yosuke, Chie, and Yukiko and come back to the other team members later. However, I really struggled trying to do your request and felt as if I didn't know the characters well enough to try and gauge their reactions to the scenario. I didn't want to give you something that felt like I wasn't trying or taking your request seriously. Sorry about this but thank you for requesting. However, if you'd like to request something else, please feel free to do so.
Confession Rehearsal (Akira Kurusu x Reader)
A/N: Name based off of that one Honeyworkâs song âConfession Rehearsalâ. This was really fun to write!
Word Count: 1527
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
âYou want me to help you rehearse for the play?â Akira asks glancing up from his phone.
You clasp your hands together in front of you. âPlease, Akira. Youâre the only one I can ask.â
âDo I get anything out of it?â He asks, putting his phone down and crossing his arms.
âThe title of 2nd best actor of the Phantom Thieves.â
âMake it best actor and Iâll reconsider.â
âAkira.âÂ
âY/N.â
Oh, how you wanted to wipe that smug grin off his face.
You let out a sigh, knowing that there was no changing Akiraâs mind. âAlright, fine. For a week though.â
âA month and we have a deal.â
âOkay, yeah sure.â
You two stare at each other for a few seconds before laughing.
âYouâre so dumb.â You say pushing Akiraâs arm.
âAnd from that performance you can see why I deserve the title.â He says with a grin. âAlright, so what time should I be there?â
âRight after schoolâs fine. Oh, and donât worry this is just extra practice for me, so no need to worry about anyone being wary of you or anything like that.â
âItâs been a few months and they still think Iâm some sort of dangerous delinquent, huh?â
âThatâs high school for you.â You say with a small laugh. âAnyways, free period is almost over so I should probably head back before Ma-â
âY/N, how many times do I have to tell you that you canât visit other classrooms during free period?â You hear Makoto say outside the open classroom door.
âBefore Makoto catches me.â You say with a sigh.
You hear her footsteps walking up behind you and you turn with a smile. âHey Makoto. Look, I was just leaving.â
âY/N, you know the rules. I really donât want you to get in trouble.â
âI keep telling them, but they never listen.â Akira says smirking as he twirls his pencil in his hand.
Makoto gives Akira a look. âYouâre not off the hook either. Donât think I havenât noticed you sneaking back into your class a few minutes before free period ended.â
âBusted, huh.â
You stick your tongue out at Akira before walking out of the room, âSee ya later, Akira!â
âWell, I suppose thatâs my cue. Goodbye Akira, and please do listen to me. Donât blame me if you get detention one day.â Makoto says with a small smile.
âSure thing, Iâll be sure to tell Y/N that too. Although knowing them, they probably wouldnât mind being stuck in detention with me.â
âKnowing you two, youâd probably end up getting more detention. Bye, then.â
With that Makoto leaves the classroom and a few minutes later the bell rings signaling that the free period is over.
When you first met Akira, it was somewhat coincidental. You were in the same class as Ryuji, although the two of you never really talked until you joined the Phantom Thieves. Yet one day you found yourself in Yongen-jaya. Youâd read about LeBlanc in a magazine one time and finally took it upon you to visit and try the coffee there.
What you didnât expect to see was Ryuji heading there himself. He told you that he was meeting up his friends from Class-D and said that if you wanted to join you could. You took him up on his offer as the two of you entered LeBlanc. To say the least you were very surprised to see Akira standing behind the counter, serving Ann a cup of coffee. Although you didnât know each other, Akira had greeted you with a smile.Â
That was the first time you had seen him smile. When you passed by him at school, his head was always turned towards the ground. You figured it was to keep the attention off himself, especially with the rumors about him. His eyes didnât seem necessarily cold, but of course the rumors made it seem that way.
His smile was refreshing in a way, charming and a bit mischievous. It made you want to learn more about him.
------------------------------------------
You were quietly rehearsing your lines in the empty gym, waiting for Akira to arrive. Since the whole mess with Kamoshida, the volleyball team was slowly getting back into the groove of practicing; but since the gym was being used for theater rehearsal, no practice was being done.
You sigh glancing over line after line. You werenât sure what to expect when you signed up for the school play, but the lead role was not on your list. The play was... well, clichĂ© as clichĂ© could get. A teenage romance, littered with the everyday misunderstandings between the two leads.
And then there was the confession scene. The one you had trouble with the most. You were usually on the receiving end of confessions, never the one who gave them. Well at least not until today. Today you were going to confess your feelings to Akira. Was it cheesy and a bit cowardly to do it behind the premise of play rehearsal? Yes, but you werenât exactly lying when you said you needed help rehearsing your lines. The confession was just an added part, like a reward to Akira for helping you... that is if he accepts your confession.
Then you hear the door of the gym open and Akira walks with in a smile. âHey, sorry Iâm a bit late. Morgana wanted food, so I had to buy some bread from the school store.â
âNo worries. I wasnât waiting long.â You say as you hand Akira the script with his lines highlighted. âWeâre really only going over one scene today, but your character has a few long lines.â
âFine by me.â He says putting his school bag down as Morgana pops his head out, looking at the paper from a distance.
âBlech, so cheesy.â Morgana says. âThis is what youâre doing for the school play?â
You chuckle. âWell considering that itâs Shujin weâre talking about, and with everything that had happened recently, I guess this the best thing they could come up with.â
âItâs not necessarily bad... well, except this line here.â Akira notes.
You glance over at the line he is pointing at, âLucky for you, weâre only doing the best written scene. So no worries there.â
You flip through the script, directing Akira to the correct scene as he looks over the lines.
âA confession scene, huh?â
âYeah, pretty clichĂ©, right?â
âHm, well, itâs not bad. I guess if I were the lead, I wouldnât sidestep around it like they are. Itâs much easier to say it outright.â
âWell, you are a fairly straightforward type of guy.â You add. âAnyways, we can get started if you want.â
âHeh, shouldâve expected as much from one of the leads of the play.â
You stick your tongue out at Akira and take a deep breath in before reciting your lines.
âCan you just wait a second, please?â
You glance up, hearing Akira sigh as he reads his line. He was really getting into it. âWhat is it? I donât really have the time right now.â
âThatâs what you said yesterday, and the day before! Youâve been avoiding me for the past few months!â
âAnd?â
âAnd we havenât talked at all. We havenât hung out at all. What happened?â
âNothing happened.â
You scoff, âYou canât just say nothing happened, because something obviously did! Why are you shutting me out? Did I do something wrong?â
Akira runs a hand through his hair, glancing at you when he reads his line. âNo, itâs not you. Look itâs just complicated.â
âComplicated enough that you canât confide in me? Iâm your best friend for crying out loud!â
âAnd thatâs the problem.â
âWh- what is that supposed to mean?â
âYou know what, just forget it.â
You grab Akiraâs arm as he turns away. âJust tell me!â
âI like you, alright?â
You blink a couple of times, tilting your head in confusion as he turns to face you. âUh, that line isnât supposed to be for another ten lines, Akira.â
âI know.â He says with a grin. âI like you, Y/N. More than a friend that is.â
Your brain malfunctions for a second and then you cover your face in embarrassment. âI was supposed to say it first.â
âHm? You know covering your face just makes it harder to hear you.â
âI was supposed to say it first!â You say, your face was even redder than before.
âYouâre really cute, you know that?â
âUgh,â you flip Akiraâs script in his face, âStop being so calm about this. Itâs annoying...â
âIâm only being straightforward, you said it yourself.â
âHeâs right you know.â Morgana adds, hopping out of Akiraâs bag and stretching.
âShush, just give me a second.â You say, pacing back and forth on the stage.
âTheyâre really overthinking this, huh?â
Akira only nods in agreement, watching in amusement as you continue walking back and forth. Finally you walk up to him and punch him in the shoulder.
âOw?â
âYou suck. Itâs annoying how you barely get flustered at anything, but... I guess thatâs why I like you too.â
Akira smiles. âThatâs all you had to say, you know.â
âArgh, shut up.â

A Dazzling Spectacle (Childe x Reader)
A/N: A somewhat self-indulgent fic? I really love the aesthetic that characters have when they fight such as Childe, Albedo, Kazuha (;-; lost the 50/50 for him). But nonetheless hope you all enjoy this!
Word Count: 1562
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Since you were young, you always found yourself mesmerized by the oddest things. When something caught your interest, you always made it a point to seek it out. One of those interests that had caught your eye was fighting, well the beauty of it at least. There was just something about the way sparks flew when swords clashed together, or when arrows whizzed through the air after the breathtaking sound of the bowâs string being released. It felt magical to you.
You knew how to fight, always trying to recreate the dazzling spectacle of battle. But your vision never seemed to fit what you were trying to do. You heard stories of a Pyro vision holder who used her vision to make fireworks in Inazuma, some of those fireworks were even used for Liyueâs Lantern Rite. You could only remember how beautiful the fireworks were then. How fascinating it would look if their vision was used in battle.Â
Then by chance one day, you came across it. The sight you were looking for. It was glaringly bright, the way the sun sparkled against the water flowing through the air.
You couldâve sworn you heard a chuckle as a treasure hoarderâs body falls to the ground.
âHah, how boring...â
A young man with ginger hair bends down, picking up the treasure hoarder insignia that was dropped. His hair was wet, in fact his whole body was drenched, most likely the result of his vision. You take a small step forward, not noticing the tree branch underneath your foot.
You had never seen someone pull out their weapon so quickly. It was almost in an instant that he had pulled the arrow back on his bow, the tension in the string waiting to be released.
âWhoâs there?â
You knew better than to answer; you had just witnessed what this man could do. Yet somehow, you didnât feel scared at all. If anything, you felt excitement.
With your hands held in front of your chest, as a sign of surrender, you step out from behind the tree.
"Just a normal person. You can lower your weapon you know, I have no intent of fighting you."
The man keeps his bow drawn, obviously still wary of you. "You're not 'just some normal person'; that Electro vision on your hip says otherwise."
"And you're a Fatui Harbinger. You could just shoot me and call it a day."
The man chuckles, âNow, now the Fatui donât just kill people you know.â
âWell, the blood on your clothes and the treasure hoarder insignia in your hand say otherwise.â
âKeen eye, and here I thought the water washed away all the blood.â
âBlood dries a lot faster than youâd expect.â
âI suppose. Now, mind telling me why you approached me?â
You hesitated before giving your answer. Would this guy believe your reasoning? Even you felt like your reasoning was odd, even somewhat stupid. But nonetheless, keeping your hands steady in front of your chest, you simply put it bluntly.
âThe way you fight...is breathtakingly beautiful.â
The man looks at you, as if trying to tell if you were actually serious or not, and then bursts out into laughter.
âBeautiful, huh? Never heard that before.â
He lowers his bow with a grin, âYouâre a weird one.â
âI- I am not! I just...â Then you cross your arms in annoyance. âYouâre one to talk you know. At least I donât go around looking for a fight.â
You were looking at the ground, waiting for some sort of retort but then you hear the sound of water.Â
âNo.â You say, glaring at him, âI am not fighting you.â
âOh, come on. Live a little. I promise Iâll be gentle.â
âI am not-â
âDonât you want to experience the âbreathtakingly beautifulâ combat yourself?â
You stop speaking, now looking at him trying to see if he was serious or not. And then you saw a glimpse of light. A glimpse of light in this guyâs dull eyes.
Before you know it, you take your own weapon out, sighing slightly. âWell then, a warning. I wonât be gentle at all.â
---------------------------------------
âYou know, the way you use your vision to fight can be very⊠impractical at times.â You say wringing the water out of your clothes.
âAfraid of getting a little wet?â
ââŠBoth you and I are completely drenched.â You say glancing up at him. He was currently hanging his jacket on a tree branch to dry, leaving him completely shirtless.
âSo, how about another go?â
You halt your movements, looking up at him. You had managed to get a few good hits in on him, considering the scratches that covered his body. You on the other hand, had a few scratches here and there. He wasnât lying when he said heâd be gentle, but you wanted to face him at his full power. You wanted to see just how dazzling his fighting could be.
You walk over, grabbing your weapon that lay near the tree. âOne exception. You must come at me with everything you got. No holding back no matter what.â
âNo matter what, huh? So even if youâre on the verge of death, donât hold back?â
You freeze for a second but regain your composure with a small smile. âDo I really look like Iâd die to you?â
âQuite confident now, are we?â
âWerenât you the one who told me earlier that the Fatui donât just kill people?â
âDid I say that? I guess there are a few exceptions then. Well,â The water forms into blades, fitting the grips of his hands nicely. âCome at me.â
Your vision glows as your weapon becomes enveloped with Electro. And the next thing you know, he appears in front of you; a hydro blade nearly grazes against your face as you hop backwards. He was faster than last time.
You quickly swing your weapon around, hitting the blade with full force as water splashes from the impact. Out of the corner of your eye, you see the other blade swinging towards you. You kick his hand with your foot, causing the blade to fall. But of course, he saw that coming and quickly forms another blade in his hand. Slashing upwards, the blade nicks your face this time and he grins.
You step back, wiping the blood from your face and swing your weapon around again, blocking the next incoming attack. This time you push back, and the stupid grin on his face grows wider.
âYou look very upset. Does your little scratch hurt that much?â
âShut up.â
You take a step forward, pushing against the blades with all your might and your vision glows, causing Electro particles to envelop around the blades. You grin this time and quickly hop back, letting the Electro particles infuse with the blades.
He was certainly in for a shock. At least so you thought.
In the blink of an eye, his vision changed from Hydro to Electro and the next thing you know, you were on the ground. Your weapon knocked away and out of your hands as an Electro blade rests neatly against your neck.
âCare to forfeit this match? Or would death serve you better?â
You glare at him but simply hold your hands up, âI surrender.â
Satisfied with your answer, the blade is removed from your neck as you sit up.
âI have to say, I most certainly would have been done for if not for my little trick. Youâre a tricky one, huh?â He says with a grin, his clothes turning back to normal and his vision returning to itâs original element.
âIâm the tricky one? Really now?â
âI digress, it may have been dirty of me to do what I did, but you are the one who said no holding back.â
âWhatever.â
âSoâ, he bends down to meet you at eye level, âWas it even more breathtaking than before?â
You glare once again at him, annoyed at seeing his face at this point. âYouâre too close. And... I suppose. Being able to use two elements is certainly something. But I didnât even get the chance to see you use Electro in action.â
âWhy donât we make this weekly then?â
âWhat?â
âWe can fight every week. Iâm in need of a sparring partner anyways and you seem like the perfect candidate. And you want to use your vision to make spectacles while fighting, correct? Fighting me can only benefit you.â
âAnd if I accidentally kill you while doing so?â
He laughs, âIâm a Fatui Harbinger. Youâll have to really be serious about killing me if you want to actually accomplish it. So, what do you say?â He asks holding a hand out.
You look at his hand, still very wary of this guy. He was a Fatui Harbinger, which already brought up a lot of red flags. He seemed to have an absurd amount of energy, especially when it came to fighting. His bloodlust...was worrying to say the least, even concerning. But like before you didnât find yourself scared. You finally found what you were looking for, so might as well take this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity; right?
You take his hand, shaking it slightly as he pulls you to your feet. âIâm Y/N, by the way.â
The guy grins once again, his dull eyes showing a slight glimmer of light inside. âYou can call me Childe.â
Hi, when I mean ârequests that donât involve a reader or S/Oâ I donât mean character x character requests. More like âcharacter reactionsâ, if you get what I mean
Ohh okay, I understand now, sorry for the confusion; but I'd be happy to do character reactions as well!
Hello, a few more questions. Can you make requests that doesnât involve a reader or S/O? And also, can you do Headcanons, that way one can have multiple characters?
Hi Anon, I haven't written headcanons before but I'd be willing to try it out. And when you say "requests that don't involve a reader or S/O" I'm guessing that means like character x character requests?
