My dearest citizens of Claybourne, apparently it is time for yet another warning from the Booster Club for the Embellishment of Claybourne. Just a few hours ago a strange message was delivered to our doorstep and it has left us quite shaken. We take our duties as the guiding light of this community very seriously and therefore cannot withhold this information from the rest of you.  The message reads as follows:  Beware Citizens of Claybourne! While Maddison Halles was still walking these streets she collected many things, most famously the secrets of her friends, neighbors, and enemies. Some say that she locked them away in a little book, for future blackmailing or her own amusement. That book disappeared with her, but it seems that it has found its way back into our midst. The admin team asks you to submit any dark secrets your muse may have to Claybourne Stories, either for them to be revealed through the book, or to stay hidden forever. Though we encourage everyone to participate this task is not mandatory. Please keep in mind whatever the secrets are referring to must have happened before Maddison disappeared for her to know it. And also keep your eyes on those around you, who is to say where that book will surface first? First and foremost the Booster Club would like to formally distance themselves from any and all accusations against its members that might appear in such a dreadful and surely mostly imaginary book! We are an honored establishment that has been a part of this town for many generations. We do hope that you will not believe the slander of your neighbors that may come out of this situation. My dearest citizens of Claybourne, we are shocked to hear that our town might be yet again the setting of tragic events. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Pearson family and their friends. We assure them that the Boosters – as well as all of this beautiful city – will stand at their side in these trying times. If there is anything needed, we will be here, with outstretched hands, to offer help. We made the hard decision to continue with the Spring Festivities, for it is our traditions and our strong solidarity with one another that will give us strength and guidance now. The spirit of Claybourne will not be broken. However we urge all members of the community, especially those still present at the Fair Grounds, to  be more than careful and to aide the investigations of our honest police men wherever they can. If one of you has any information considering the whereabouts of Justin Cole Pearson we desperately ask of you to come forward and share these informations with the authorities. Should you be afraid to do so, for whatever reason, please know that the Boosters are always welcoming and have been given the gift of very sympathetic ears towards our dear townspeople. So feel free to reach out to us under the cover of anonymity. Recent reports about strange sightings at night have not been resolved so I feel the need to repeat myself in one thing and one thing only: Be careful around the lake, citizens of Claybourne! The last thing we need right now is another young and careless individual endangering themselves, bringing more worry into the hearts of our loving community. And Justin, my dear, if you are reading this and – as we all dearly hope – this entire affair is just a terrible misunderstanding, please come home to your family. You are dearly missed. AN IMPORTANT CLAYBOURNE ANNOUNCEMENT. 

As Spring festival continues, Claybourne authorities are urging residents of Claybourne to please be vigilant while they continue the festivities. Recent reports from the last 48 hours suggest that Claybourne has a new missing person. The individual is thought to be Justin Cole Pearson, known to those close to him as JC. The missing person’s report was filed by the individual’s brother who urges anyone who has any information to please come forward. Authorities are investigating this missing person as suspicious and have reasons to believe this may be tied to the homicide of Maddison Halles. Please stay safe.

I saw Asher and Ronan arguing at the bar what are your thoughts on the towns thugs getting into it over what seems like Heidi and Percy? Seems like Asher can't stand one and wants to fuck the other around

I’m sure it was just drunken men being men. Beside’s what would Ronan have to do with those two girls? It seems a little unrealistic if you ask me and if so I hope those two sweet girls steer clear. If anything they’re probably plotting their next shenanigan that’s going to get the two of them locked right back up and Mary and June will act as though they’re still Angels who can do no wrong. Fools.

                     Claybourne’s Spring Festival is here! 

THE BOOSTER CLUB FOR THE EMBELLISHMENT OF CLAYBOURNE are proud to present to the citizens of Claybourne our Annual Spring Festival. The Spring festival is a renaissance fair established in Claybourne to celebrate the best that Spring has to offer. With a flower fair, medieval jousting, market stalls and the wonderful weather to enjoy the Spring Festival is one of the Booster club’s favourite festivities to host. 

Drop into the Sovereign tent for a drink of hearty mead (or prosecco) and mingle with Claybourne’s very own Spring Sovereigns. 

Get out your frustrations with fellow citizens in the sparring tent. Place your bets or maybe discover something in you that was never there before. 

Sample some of the best food and drink produced and sourced locally. 

Buy handmade crafts at the market stalls. 

And don’t forget your costume! The Spring Festival is a local renaissance fair and although costumes are not mandatory, they are encouraged! Please post your outfits (if you choose to wear one) by the end of the event and tag @claybournestories so that we can see them. 

The Spring festival is an open Claybourne event. This is not mandatory but is designed to help nurture plots and interactions between players. The spring festival rolls into town on the 22/03 and will end on the 29/03. You may engage with the spring festival at your own leisure and although we recommend you finish making new threads by the end of the event, you may continue them for as long as you wish.

                                        With all due respect, young grey cloak. I am a what now? I must admit it has taken me some time to reply to your message, for my first reaction was one of great confusion and even a bit of anger. I know, I know, that is not how a lady behaves and my best years may have passed me by a long time ago, but a hoofed animal? Dearest June says this is something she called slang of the internet generation, maybe one of my grandchildren can google it for me. That is what you do with such things, right? Google it?  Alas, I am busy with preparations for the festivities in town - and keeping tabs on what is happening with that strange figure on the beach, so if you have any news on that, please forward them to me. I do thank you, should this indeed be a compliment. You seem to be a goat, too. Make of that what you will.

It is with the greatest honour I am here to announce our Spring Sovereign for this year’s spring festival. This highly esteemed role is cherished as part of our Claybourne history and as such to be crowned Spring Sovereign is the highest of honours. This year, as with so many things in our town presently has turned out to be one of the most historic votes in Claybourne history. But after the votes have been counted.... and recounted by the delightful Ms June Brooke. It is with great joy that I can announce our first ever tie in Spring Sovereign history. For the first time ever, I hereby crown Claybourne’s Spring Sovereigns: Ariella James, Percy Luby and Belle Carlson! ( @ariellajames ,  @percyluby​, @missxbelle​ )

Our spring sovereign’s will open the Spring Festival and will recieve a three course meal at the expense of the Claybourne Booster Club at The Wildflower Cafe. Please join me in wishing a hearty congratulations to our winners.

I saw JC and Hana leave the lifeguard tower the other day. Do you know anything about that? I thought he was with one of the other two woman.

Maybe they were having a secret little rendezvous? If that’s the case I think JC is definitely making some moves on many girls here in Claybourne. I hope they’re all on the same page at least about where they stand in whatever it is they have going on. If not then well.. he’s going to be in a bit of a mess isn’t he? If that’s not why they were at the tower then I wonder what else it could have been. If anybody else knows then please do inform us.

Claybourne tasks 03:

Hello, Claybourne! We are almost halfway through March and as we move through the year we feel it is time to get to know the residents of Claybourne a little bit more!



This time how about a simple and fun playlist? A playlist tells us a lot about a person more than you’d think. So our third task is to playlist. This can be a bit of fun, something with deeper meaning or maybe even dedicated to another person? You can tag your playlist or picture post with claybourneplay and hopefully we should be able to find them easily enough. You can also tag the starter blog, if you wish.
 

Hints and tips: 

You could make one directly through playlist, Apple Music etc. 

A simple text post is perfectly fine too! Feel free to be as creative with this as you’d like. 

Check out the tags for ideas. 

This task is optional but is a great way to get to know your muse better and to show other people parts of your muse’s personality!

are you aware someone is sneaking around the beach at night?

Yes, I have been made aware that a number of people have already reported strange sightings at the beach. And though, like some of my fellow Boosters always suggest, I have neither the stomach nor the patience for stories like this, it concerns me greatly. The beach is a beautiful place and though many people associate it with memories of laughter and sunshine it has also been the setting of one of our greatest tragedies. So I cannot help but call on the good senses of all our citizens to stay away from the beach at night, and trust that our honest policemen will get to the bottom of this soon.

And why is that? I mean, I do agree but I’d love to know what part of their every day life brought you to that conclusion. Is it Ronan’s Lake House on a mechanic’s wage? Asher’s return out of thin air? Speaking of Asher.. that man is one wrong conversation away from a smack in the mouth from somebody. Don’t tell Mary and June you feel this way though, I’m sure they think their sweet boys are angels.

I was out on the beach last night when I saw someone skulking around out there...

This isn't the first report we've had of something like this and somehow I doubt it will be the last. Fishermen are rarely seen down by the beach at night since Miss Halles' disappearance so that points to the culprit being something a bit more sinister..... Nobody tell Mary, she finds ghost stories quite distasteful.

Why does Heidi dress like she's living in the 50s? It's almost like she hasn't picked up a magazine since 1950... oh right she can't afford magazines....

I personally see no issues with how Heidi dresses? Are we to believe the 50s style was not impeccable? I say maybe a few of the lovely folk around here could take a few pointers from Heidi on how to dress and then maybe some things might be left to the imagination.
