my moots' lovely tavs & durges! surprise! hope it was okay for me to do this, considering I didn't consult any one of you beforehand 😂 but hopefully your characters look the way they ought to!

just wanted to draw up these portraits as a little thank you to some of the people who keep me coming back here & just really make my day with their beautifully complex, creative, and inspiring OCs

#same as prev #whoever I'm romancing in that playthrough #keeping the same person/people in your party *across* playthroughs is a HUGE mistake tbh #you miss out on so much unique dialogue and banter. there are certain things that only trigger when you have a particular combination of #three party members. so if you ALWAYS have astarion in your party or whoever else - there go those interactions #bg3 #poll

AO3 Comments are SO SO SOOOOOOO important because you can only leave Kudos ONCE. You add to the hit count ONCE (every 24 hours).

So whenever someone updates their fic, the ONLY way an author knows who their regular readers are is if they comment on each chapter. And we WANT to know who's still reading.

Believe it or not, some of us think about the name that pops up constantly in the comments and go "omg I can't wait to see what they think of THIS SPECIFIC SCENE cuz I KNOW they'll say something about it!!!"

Ice Cambions in hot environments!

More of my concepts for ice Cambions, and specifically how I think they would fare in hot environments of the hells. I imagine they almost never leave the cold domains unless absolutely necessary, cuz they would be super weak if overheated, but in their natural cold climate they are prob very powerful.

I don’t know enough about dnd to come up with stats and such for actual gameplay, these are just ideas spinning in my brain for fun.

Lets talk about Stillmaker, Durge’s other canon blade

Okay, so we already know that Durge had the Bloodthirst dagger which was created from Bhaal’s own blood and carried by his chosen.

But there is another dagger in the game you can find that also canonically belonged to Durge, Stillmaker.

We see Stillmaker portrayed in Dark Urge’s official artwork, and it’s also Durge’s blade in Idle Champions, as you can see.

I’ve noticed that Stillmaker matches Bloodthirst in design, but it is conspicuously green, as opposed to every other Bhaalian weapon I’ve seen which are red.

You know who else’s canon weapon has the same green coloring? Gortash. And who is the color green associated with? Bane.

I posit then, that being close to one another as they were, Gortash either made or commissioned Stillmaker to match with Bloodthirst and gifted it to Durge. It’s far more his style in looks, and I feel it’s something he would have done as he describes Durge as his nearest and dearest, and we know they worked very closely together and admired one another.

It truly makes my Durgetash heart flutter!
