Cordelia curved her red lips into her trademark Cordelia Chase smile. Of course he wouldn't hurt her, she knew that. He was too intrigued by her. It always happened this way. Sunnydale was always the biggest taboo as a conversation starter. People always wanted to hear more.
"Oh, dear," she replied sweetly, "Thank you for that reassurance." She traced her hands lightly up and down her arms, attempting to ward of the slight chill that had crept up in the alleyway. The draft from the street made it colder in the darkness. "So do you always go around biting people in dark crevices of the city?"

She smirked amiably, showing him that her words were good-natured.
Elijah cocked his eyebrow at her description of him as pure, feeling ashamed for all he’d done against his moral code. He wasn’t sure what kind of vampires she’d run into at the Hellmouth, but for him, for all the atrocities he’d committed over the centuries, to be described as pure— it was hard to fathom. He also wished that such a bright young person hadn’t had to grow up with such evil surrounding her and her loved ones. "Cordelia … why you may describe me as, well, having a soul, shall we say, I am anything but kind. I have a moral centre that was strengthened when I turned, but … I am not above murder or deceit … torture - I’m loyal first and foremost to my family, my siblings, and I would do anything to protect them, to make them happy. And for that, my morals have been compromised on several occasions. Forgive me; I say this not to frighten you, but to be honest with you. You are safe; I give you my word."

Cordelia nodded as Xander talked. She smiled softly as he stumbled along goofily in a fashion only Alexander Harris ever could. "So what kind of direction are you looking for, if you don't mind me asking?" She crossed her long legs underneath the table and tapped her perfectly manicure toes against the metal support bar on her stool. She curved her lips up into a smile and looked expectantly at her old friend.
"Ei, they are my feelings you’re not supposed to be feeling my feelings so it’s your fault that you’re—feeling the feelings…Eh…let’s just say it’s better now" he teased again then gave her a smile to let her know that he was only joking, "Aw, come on, Cordy you were the most popular girl on school, if you didn’t fall in the beauty pardons you’d never been Queen C." "And that’s the problem!" he said and nodded his head, "He’s old and British he’s not supposed to be a guitar wizard!." As they got to the coffee shop and sat down, Xander looked at the table for a while, thinking about Cordelia’s question before he could even began to reply to it, it was kind of complicated to start to explain everything. “Well…that’s going to take a while, are you sure they have coffee enough for this conversation?” he joked,” I don’t know, it’s just with Anya gone, I went away, then I come back… I missed the guys, the gang, but I’m just not sure if I fit there anymore, Buffy’s training the potentials, Willow’s in New York. I guess this is just the time for me to find another direction, you know?.”

"Oh, thank God!" Cordelia replied, smirking at Angel's shirt. "Tropical flower shirt for a ski trip necessary? Absolutely!" She giggled softly and jumped into the drivers' seat of the SUV. "Come on, Dark Avenger. Let's go!?
"No of course not" ok maybe part of him wanted to "nope wouldn’t want back out after all the work you put into this." maybe he could try and stay inside being a vampire thing right.  Walking out "Is this shirt really necessary for the trip" gesturing to the tropical one he strangely owned.

"What?" Cordelia choked slightly, "Why me? I mean it's not like we were..." She paused remembering how Angelus went after Buffy. "Oh, geez. That's just great." Cordy tapped her fingers on the table, locking eyes with Faith, "So where so we start? I am NOT bait material. I'm sure you remember.."
Nodding, seeing as how Cordy had a point there, she put down her own drink and moved in closer as well, almost like it was instinctual. “I don’t believe in the powers, or God, destiny, faith…All that. But if there’s a bunch of glowy things laughing down at us, then it’s time to kick those off their pedestals too.” Of course, first things first. Angelus. “He’s gonna come after you, y’know? And probably soon.” They could work around that, but they had to be able to anticipate the attack and strike back at just the right time. When or how would he do it?

Cordelia walked slowly through the streets of Paris, lugging her huge shopping bags of Paris fashion must-haves. After hitting pretty much every boutique in sight she was exhausted. Her stylish stiletto heels weren't helping, either.
Finally she reached the site of the new site of Angel Investigations Paris. She went in and dropped her bags in her office, "Harmony you can hold my calls," she said to her vamp-friend/receptionist. She leaned back in her chair and put her feet up on her desk. "Shit, she mumbled to herself, "I need coffee like, now."
Getting out of her comfy chair she told Harmony she would return shortly. She went back out onto the street and walked a couple of blocks until she found a cute authentic café, none of that tourist nonsense.
She ordered at the counter and stood with her back to the door, singing along to the Taylor Swift song playing on the radio overhead. She didn't hear the jingle above the door.

"Tainted by...huh?" Cordelia tilted her head in confusion, "Angel?"
”That’s,” Cordelia frowned, “That’s actually really sad. Not in a mean way, just…you lost your pseudo-family. I’m sorry.”

Cordelia shrugged, sipping her drink and contemplating actually working with Faith. It could be interesting in the 'never-sure-whose-side-she's-really-on-and-watch-your-back-constantly kind of way. Setting her drink down on the table in front of her, Cordy leaned her elbow to the table and propped her chin on her hands. "It's never the same experience twice." Sighing heavily she added, "It's like he's supposed to revert every now and then or something. The Powers must think it's hilarious to watch us scramble."
Faith could handle her liquor better than Cordelia it seemed, seeing as how she didn’t really felt the effect yet, and she did remember how hard it had been knocking Angelus down the last time. She even took a trip to his personal hell with him to save that soul, and she wasn’t really looking forward to another round with him, but she didn’t have a choice. He was the only one she would literally walk through fire for, the good version, Angel anyway. So, she would man up and do it again, even if she ended up six feet under this time around, she would have at least done what was right. ‘Course, Faith preferred to stay alive for just a little while longer though, so they’d need a plan —a good one. “Ha, was just wondering myself. Nothing like last time, that’s for sure.” At the other’s offer to help, she nodded, although she wasn’t sure that was a good idea.

Cordelia and Doyle on Angel are so cute. They need to be together.
Still on the first few episodes.

Cordelia heard Doyle come into the lobby from her room upstairs and grinned softly. She finished putting on her lipstick and looked herself over once more in the mirror. Nodding approval at her reflection, she turned and left her room, climbing down the stairs two at a time. "You're right on time," she said as she reached the bottom step. Her heels clicked on the tile floor as she closed the distance between them. A smile spread across her face as she looked at Doyle's attire. "Boy, you clean up nice," she joked cutely, "all dressed up for me?" She grabbed her wrap from the lobby couch and covered her bare shoulders with it, her purple, strapless dress peeking out from beneath. "So, where we going?"

Date Nights ,late runs (cordelia-warrior-princess)
Running well rushing off to the Hyperion for his date with Cordy.  He hoped he was early but from the way he was rushing it didn’t fell like he took the time off to get there.  Almost sliding into the front door. Taking a second to compose himself. Fixing his dress shirt
Walking him Doyle asked “Please tell me I’m early or on time” please don’t say late he really didn’t want to ruin this at all.  Unless a demon ,or vampire attack then that could ruin the night more.

Cordelia grinned coyly when he affirmed her reading. She brushed back a piece of hair from her face and tucked it behind her ear.  Tilting her head slightly to the side, she looked over the man in front of her, taking in everything she could in just a few seconds before she began to explain.
"The vampires I'm used to, the ones from my hometown and that I've run into in L.A. are all the same. You," she hesitated an instant before continuing, "you feel softer. Pure. Not like the evil, soulless creatures from the Hellmouth." Her bright red lips curved softly into a tiny smile. "I'm sorry," she said, "does that even make any sense?"

Elijah felt tempted to brush his thumbs across the tips of her fingers as his hands were cradled in her own. Her hands were soft, more from care than lack of using them. He could feel the strength of her grip; he wasn’t the first one to have run into the point of her crossbow. “You did very well, Cordelia. But not to worry’ everything I told you was the truth. What I don’t know is what type of vampires you’ve come across if I’m so different.” Elijah was interested in hearing her talk about the sort of vampires that lived around the Hellmouth in which she’d grown up. His family were the first vampires to have walked the earth. How was it possible that there were strains of other vampires, created from other means? His mother had burnt the pages in which she’d recorded her methods of magic used to bring the dead back to unholy life. That he knew for sure, since he had been there to see her toss them into the fire pit.

Cordelia poured the blood into Angel's old mug, adding a teensy bit of coffee to spice up the flavor. She poured herself a mug, sans the blood, and added her sugar and cream. Handing the blood mug to D, she settled herself down beside her. Cordelia smiled and said, "Drink up," as she tilted her coffee back. She set her cup down on the counter and pulled out a yellow legal pad she'd been writing notes on. "There are a few books I remember my old librarian talking about in high school," nodding to D's confused look she said, "don't ask. I went to high school on a Hellmouth, anyway, I think we can find some of these books here in L.A. The other's I'll have to call in some favors for. I think they can help though." Cordy smiled encouragingly at D.
"i don’t care which" yawned D "mix of both surprise me Core" D’s pathetic nickname man she needed a break "Shopping sure if I can handle my room mate I can take on the world. . almost." euh more books why do answer come from books euh why did La Magra have to be so annoying.  So many questions
