To all Day6 fans

We have been a part of a truly amazing era. We got to experience the awesome, witty and absolutely hilarious Jae’s tweets (and that one time when he made this meme); we witnessed the birth of Jaehyungparkian and got to see them bicker on social media; we got to talk with Jae so many times online and fans in Korea got to interact with the boys in person without any trouble all the time.

But things have changed.

JYPE decided that that way of promoting was too dangerous and as it seems right now, they made Day6 an idol band. They are no longer allowed to have personal SNS, any interaction with fans is strongly forbidden and they aren’t even allowed to smile at fans who see them in person. With this new comeback, they will also be attending music shows where they can’t actually play their music but have to pretend to do it. 

The only words I have for you right now is to stay strong. Many fans have already left the fandom and I fully understand that. This band isn’t the same band anymore, the things we loved about them don’t exist anymore. However, here is to hoping that as time passes by that things will slowly go back to how they were. That we will be able to experience all of those things again. If it doesn’t happen, we are blessed to have been part of such an amazing era.

Don’t forget who our boys truly are.
