kinda messed up if you sacrifice your barbarian in the name of a rage god just so she can come back with a stronger connection to it. was her rage not strong enough by your standards? was she passionate and caring before she died, was she a shy kobold who couldn't explain why she agreed with something so she didn't say anything at all? did she realise that coming back meant that she'd have rage in the way that other barbarians do, but not in a way that was familiar to her (doesn't that sound familiar, porter?)

i love the preview for next weeks fhjy episode it was so funny but i especially love fig's response to why she's fireproof. brings up nothing of her demonic heritage, only her girlfriend, of which she was most certainly fireproof before meeting. she makes it sound like she somehow BECAME fireproof for her hot phoenix babe girlfriend. like oh so ayda is on fire? better become immune so we can kiss. kristen is about to get out lesbian'd, beat at her own game by a bisexual (the game is loving women)

Fabian is the sweetest boy ever. He's gone to Gertie to hash it out so that she and Kristen can pursue whatever they have going on comfortably.

Fabian holds such a special place in my heart for being a fictional black boy that's just really sweet and flamboyant and kind of weird. He feels like a portrayal of parts of the black experience that you don't really get to see depicted in media much. I love him.

At first Fabian refuses to interact with his and Fig’s new sibling but one day his mom is dealing with something in the other room and the baby is crying and so Fabian has to pick up the baby. So he picks up the baby, bouncing them gently, and says, “One day, eighteen years from now, I will fight you to the death.” Then the baby reaches up and curls their little hand around his finger and Fabian’s voice breaks, utterly in love with this tiny person, and says, “I will defeat you,” unconvincingly.

I cannot express in words how badly I want Fig to release "Dawn of Justice" and immediately scoop Ankarna out from under Jace and the Ratgrinders. The sheer hilarity of them spending all year trying to raise this god of rage only to get there second because Fig released a song about Ankarna's original domain that became an immediate industry altering hit and raised this goddess as she once was is so funny to me specifically.

She would have been mature for her age, and the way she fights shows that she's not like other girls her age and one time she heals him in a private moment and he confesses that she gets him more than his wife ever could.

OBVIOUSLY there is something to be said for the ankarna/cassandra parallels reflecting onto soulmates fig and kristen HOWEVER i am here to suggest that ankarna and cassandra mirror fig and ayda perfectly. the girl who cannot figure out who she is and her partner who burns like the very dawn. fig who has become a master of making other people doubt and still doubts herself, and ayda aguefort, the master of the compass points library and someone who is unfailingly just.
