Made some Japanese style keepsake boxes!
The boxes are made out of pine with hardwood accents. I made the boxes fully with hand tools I didn’t use any powered tools.
I used a veritas jack plane, chisels and Japanese pull saw. The box is put together with dado joints. The top removes when you pull the lid down.
