Thinking about how in the “Announcement” video, when Sneeg and Charlie appear, there is text under their pictures that says “found them!”. In the finale, Hetch mentions they must’ve upped security since SOMETHING happened, but doesn’t say what. Then I thought about the fact that Showfall sends out missing posters for runaway actors… Sneeg and Charlie definitely escaped at some point didn’t they

Generation Loss theory/speculation.
Throughout the story, we have come to associate masks with mind control. We see this with Ranboo, Sneeg, and even the background ‘staff.’ But do you know who else follows this mask protocol? Hetch. I just find it interesting how no one seems to point this out. But perhaps not even the shows main antagonist is as in control as he thinks he is? Just something to think about.

Ranboo, whilst giving us a tour through the Generation Loss set and probably gesturing very excitedly: “So anyway here’s that nifty box you all killed me with!” :D

Theory here:  Right before the choice happens, Ranboo’s mask returns to flashing. Its possible that these events arn’t really happening.  So it’s entirely possible that Ranboo did not actually die, and instead experienced something similar to what Charlie did.

So anyone else piece together that the jingle that plays with the Showfall logo, is actually a Mall intercom? (you know, the ones that play a melody and then go “attention shoppers ___”) and that this entire time the show has been taking place in a mall? …wild.

The connection:
So when we play the GenLoss game on the website, we eventually get to the point where the characters are speaking in Binary code.
When translated, it gives us this:
Friend : The Villian
Friend: The Taken
Stranger: The Savior
Here’s what I think these represent.
The green Friend, or The Villain, is Charlie in this story. The green representing the slime, and the binary code reveals him as our supposed ‘Villain’ in the story. (or at least the one Showfall is setting up for the viewers). This makes sense given Ranboos interactions with them, and them being the ‘final boss’ during episode 1.
The blue Friend, or The Taken, represents Sneeg. He is Ranboos ally throughout the story. However, ‘The Taken’ part could represent two things.
1. He was physically taken from his home and is now a forced participant in this show/game as an NPC.
Or
2. It was a foreshadow of when Sneeg got ‘Taken’ away by the monster in episode 1.
From what I can tell, it could be either/or for these answers.
As of writing this post (only episode 1 is out), I don’t belive we have actually formally met The red Stranger, or The Savior. If I had to guess, I believe that the red Stranger is either going to be someone in episode 2/3, or is the person we see on the video tape who is trying to help Ranboo escape. My theory is that The Savior will play an active roll in trying to break Ranboo out of the show, hence being his ‘Savior’.
So where does Ranboo fit into all this you may ask? Well it’s simple.
Ranboo is the Player character from the game. Which is why he is called: The Hero. (Like the Main character you may play as in a video game or the main character in a story who is going on their ‘hero’s journey’). We as the viewers take control of the Players actions within the game, in the same way we have control of Ranboos actions during the stream.
So what does it all mean?
Well…some pretty bad things. And some of it is going to be our (the audiences) fault.
Here’s my theory on what’s going on.
Showfall, the company in charge of the show, has kidnapped Ranboo. Ranboo (through some means brought about by Showfall) is being controlled by us (the audience) for entertainment value. Sneeg likely received a similar treatment, and was also taken at some point. However Sneeg is not under our control and has been delegated to an NPC friend. Charlie, may or may not have been taken. However he is being set up by Showfall as the villain of their tv/game/show. Which means he is forced to fight Ranboo whether he likes it or not. The Stranger ‘Savior’ is trying to help Ranboo get out of the TV show/game (or at least get through it safely).
And us, as the audience, are complicit bystanders for Showfall. By playing along, we force Ranboo to participate in the game/tv show for our entertainment.
Ranboos enemy is Showfall,
and Ranboos enemy is us.

Consider:
Badboyhalo and Antfrost trap Ranboo in the obsidian hole. (In an attempt to corrupt him). They think it’ll be easy, b/c they take his pick away.
At first it seems to work, and Ranboo becomes very distraught. Clearly panicking.
Then suddenly he goes completely silent.
Confused, Bad and Ant race to the egg room. Only to find the obsidian blocks scattered around....
and Ranboo nowhere in sight.

Not gonna lie... a little concerned that Ranbob, a descendent of our Enderboy, had the allegiance to Dream...
Hopefully that’s not foreshadowing...

Okay, so I know everyone is going nuts over Tommy & Tubbo but I wanted to take a second to appreciate Clay’s acting and skills as c!Dream. The man has done some amazing stuff and it really shows in Tommy/Tubbo’s finale.
The part that I think went under appreciated, but really impressed me, was the fight scene on the mountain.
We all know Clay is super good at the game. In an actual battle, he could have won very easily. During this scene it would’ve been easy to slip up (plot-wise) and accidentally kill c!Tommy or c!Tubbo. But if you watch carefully, you could see how Clay was pushing each of them until they were close to death, and then giving them a chance to breathe by switching his attention to the other. He also very clearly signals Tommy for when he knows Tubbo’s health is too low, and c!Dream needs to do a ‘villain monologue’ to stall for time so Tubbo’s health bar can regenerate. (Not to mention giving his character a villainious reason for why they’re ‘not really trying’).
To be frank, Clay’s acting, control, and skills amaze me b/c, somehow, in the heat of this fight scene he managed to actively keep assessing wether or not his opponents were low, and back off accordingly, while still giving the viewer an entertaining fight scene. Like holly cow, that could not have been easy, but he did it flawlessly!!
In conclusion: The whole thing was just awesome! And I doubt there are many players who could have pulled that off!! Well Done Clay!!! You were fantastic!!!
