My pitch for a potential EAH G2:

Raven Queen (she/her) - East Asian with a tall slim body similar to G3!Frankie. Rebel. She is bisexual.

Apple White (she/her) - Shorter slim body similar to G3!Twyla. Royal. She is lesbian.

Briar Beauty (she/her) - Afrolatina and a curvy body similar to G3!Cleo. Rebel. She is straight.

Blondie Lockes (she/her) - Short and curvy body similar to G3!Draculaura. Royal. She is straight.

Jillian Beanstalk (she/her) - Indigenous with brown skin and a tall athletic body similar to G3!Venus. Rebel. She is lesbian.

Justine Dancer (she/her) - Darkskin black with a slim body similar to G3!Clawdeen. Royal. She is bisexual.

Faybelle Thorn (she/her) - Tall slim body similar to G3!Frankie. Royal. She is straight.

Gus Crumb (he/him) - Latino with tan skin and a shorter thick body compared to the G3 boy dolls. Rebel. He is gay.

Helga Crumb (she/her) - Latina with lighter skin compared to Gus and a shorter chubby body similar to G3!Catty. Royal. She is aroace.

Hopper Croakington (he/him) - Darkskin black with a body similar to G3!Deuce. Royal. He is bisexual.

This would be the lineup for Wave 1 of core dolls.

Raven, Briar and Jillian would be the main Rebel trio while Apple, Blondie and Justine would be the main Royal trio, with Faybelle being your typical antagonistic mean girl, Hopper being the clumsy dork with an elegant prince-like side and Gus and Helga being just one year younger than the rest of the characters, but with more different personalities between each other (though sharing the appetite and sweet-tooth).

Ginger Breadhouse deserved better, I wish we could've gotten to see more of her! 😭💖🧁

She is such a good and interesting character with lots of potential, like we haven't even seen what she could do as a witch and her design is so cute, love me some sweets-themed designs XD

Also, the fact that Ginger is forced into this reputation and destiny of being a child-eating witch due to a LIE told by Hansel and Gretel that everyone believed in (because fuck witches, IG??) is so messed up. Not to mention those brats Gus and Helga - love their designs and colors tho - trying to spread lies about Ginger???

I believe that Gigi Grant IS a former student of EAH who graduated and followed her destiny, but left to the Monster High universe after her story was done, and we know that she's been there for many years. So my personal headcanon/theory is that the Genies from the Aladdin tale are immortal/have longer lifespan and they often have A LOT of kids, so when one finishes this generation's story, the next one will take over the next generation. Which means that there could be a relative of Gigi taking over the role of Genie at Ever After High.

1000% AGREE!

We do not need that hate train again if Ever After High comes back with a reboot as well. I'd personally prefer a reboot if it means we're getting better dolls, great designs, great storytelling and more POC/LGBTQIA+ representation like Monster High is serving us with G3 so far.

So if Ever After High really IS coming back, I hope everyone is ready for the fact that it will most likely be a reboot instead of a continuation. Probably to tie into Monster High G3 since that is the current product and doing very well.

And if that IS the case here's what we're NOT gonna do; we are NOT going to bitch and complain and whine how it's not a continuation of the original and that it's different from the original and all the usual bullshit that comes along with reboots! Ever After High is all about breaking cycles, so let's break THIS particular cycle, yeah?

New headcanons of mine about Briar's younger brothers, including new names for them because I hate the canon ones ;)

Floryan Beauty (15), he grew to develop a more responsible/mature personality after being promised to be a future Prince Charming for a fairytale he still doesn't know yet, so he took his lessons more seriously compared to his brothers. Floryan tends to scold them for their antics, but a part of him misses having fun without caring about his destiny, secretly wishing that maybe, just maybe... he wouldn't need to become a Prince Charming.

Thorne Beauty (13), he has a more aggressive yet laidback attitude and is the one who's most likely to charge into a fight or to be the prank master. Thorne is the most skilled of the brothers in swordfighting and often fights with Floryan due to their polar opposite personalities, but deep down he just misses his old prankster partner.

Roseo Beauty (11), he tries to act all cool as a ladies' man with a flirty personality, being the one who takes the most care with his appearance. Roseo can be a bit self-centered and most likely to irritate his brothers with his sassiness, but he does care about them and notices rapidly when one seems to be troubled, even if they don't say a thing.

Ambrose Beauty (9), he is very sporty and is often the first one to join on Thorne's pranks due to their similar personalities, but Ambrose is less straightfoward. He often just goes with the flow, but when it comes to sports, he takes the lead like no one else.

Patel Beauty (7), the nerdy intelligent prince who gives his best on the lessons they're given while homeschooled, but he also uses his brains to help create new "quests" and pranks with his brothers. Patel admires Floryan's sense of responsability and leadership, using him as his role model, which sometimes can irritate Thorne.

Bramble Beauty (5), Bush Beauty (5) and Rosebud Beauty (5) are triplets and the youngest of the Sleeping Beauty family, but they love going on adventures and doing pranks around the castle. Bramble is the reckless hyperactive leader, Bush is the cunning player who loves surprise attacks and Rosebud is the innocent little kid who clinges on his brothers when he is shy.

I wish we could have seen more of a stronger bond between Raven and Briar after Thronecoming.

Raven would totally understand why Briar didn't want to follow her fairytale destiny after knowing how she felt about losing every single one of her friends during her 100-years sleep, and would understand her fear when she threw the Storybook of Legends away. And Briar? She literally SAW what was going to happen to Raven if she does sign the book, not just the one bit we saw of Apple in a glass coffin and the magic mirror, and understood exactly why Raven started the Rebels movement.

They both don't want to be controlled by what some book says that is their predestined life, they both don't want to lose their friends and be alone forever because of "destiny". Raven and Briar getting closer with each other as friends would've been so cool to see ;-;

My headcanons about Briar's brothers:

The eldest of the brothers is only 1 year younger than Briar, so he has a more responsible personality and takes his lessons as a future Prince Charming very seriously, often scolding the younger bros for their antics. Out of them, he is the one who's the closest to Briar.

The youngest children are triplets and they're hyperactive mischievous brats who play dragon slaying and often annoy/prank Briar the most, specially when she's sleeping.

Much like Briar, they actually fall asleep pretty fast, but they don't have the sleeping curse since they're not supposed to have it.

The brothers (except for the eldest) love to make jokes about Briar being the next Sleeping Beauty, but some of them don't stop to think that she's not the only one who will sleep for a 100 years, as the spell would put their own kingdom - including them - to sleep, losing any friends from the outside.

All of them have the best birthday parties every year.
