Yes! but can i also say as someone who has had Male Pediatricians and nurses by my side during my life this goes two ways, I had a male nurse looking after me for the vast majority of the time i was in critical condition after a pulmonary embolism and he was just a saint, honestly he was amazing, and actually at the time my doctor was a female, and they worked together brilliantly, while this post is about how Women as doctors are better i just want to add that MAYBE don’t be so concerned about gender and just more supportive of people doing what they are good at, women as doctors men as nurses it doesn’t matter as long as you love what you’re doing and are good at it, that’s what can make a huge difference to a patient.

I will however add though that there is a huge benefit for women personally to have more female doctors and surgeons because...well when you’re having serious surgery/hospital stays etc it is always a bit of extra pressure taken off when as a woman i don’t have to remove clothes or get invasive procedures done by a man (i’m not saying you guys aren’t great but i don’t REALLY want an internal ultrasound done by a man) I mean you do just get on with it in the end but it’s nice to have someone of the same gender who will know generally how you feel while getting some of these things done.

Guh just my opinion, but as always tear down the gender barriers of jobs! If you can do your job well then that’s all that matters!

my professor spent our entire seminar whining about how there’s too many girls in our group and not enough boys. he was like “i’m not saying women can’t be good surgeons but we need more men” no, we don’t. men suck. deal with it.

Just watched ‘The Kissing Booth’....apparently it’s ‘problematic’ but what the fuck isn’t these days?

I loved it, it made me feel lonely and like i am missing out on some cute human connection that involves sexy boys and girls kissing...but then i remember i hate that shit that gives me nervous breakdowns and extreme anxiety because NOT EVERY HAS TO BE CARDBOARD ROM COM CUT OUTS....and also..like human connection...with the lips and kissing, i usually have to be drunk to do that cause when i’m sober i just don’t need that shit.

I think i’m sliding down a void spiral that is shipping me to the realm of ‘relationship deficient’ peeps lol

we are pathetic lol how did we even survive in the survival of the fittest world lol.

but this is cute and adorable and this is exactly how i ended up with my rescue dog...my mum found him online and was all ‘omg look at this dog good god what a weird looking thing’ ....i went and met him but couldn’t adopt until a week later when i moved to the location and had my rents with me to check the dog out, so i asked if they could not adopt him out until then...i was then told its ok cause no one had even shown interest in him.....his fate was sealed, 8 years later he is constantly praised for being a beautiful dog and he is spoiled like a human, cause thats how we role.

My roomba is scared of thunderstorms

I was sitting at my desk just a few minutes ago, drawing, and a really loud crack of thunder went off–no power surges or anything, just thunder–and my roomba fled from its dock and started spinning in circles

I currently now have an active roomba sitting quietly on my lap

ok i LOVE this, my baby boy Magnus does the same thing but with my shark pillow pet, he also has the addition of ‘suckling’ at it after the claw massage, which i think is a leftover from the fact that when he was a kitten he was put in with another group of cats that were nursing their own litters so he got extra nippy time with the mums, but it’s the cutest comfort mechanism ever and provides me with jolly laughs all the time!
