Witchcraft Exercise - Home Brews
Tumblr media
There are a lot of opinions in the modern witchcraft community about what sorts of things make the best components for spells. Some go simple, some go fancy. Most published sources focus on specialized materials like crystals, ritual tools, or plants you aren't likely to find outside an occult shop or a botanical supplier.
But any broke witch you talk to will extol the virtues of working with inexpensive common materials from everyday shops or even just items you have lying around the house.
So to that end, here is an exercise you can do at home to familiarize yourself with your available resources and brainstorm new ideas.
Select one room of your home. It can be any room you wish. If you're not sure where to start, the kitchen is usually a good place. Sit in the room for a while and thoughtfully examine the objects around you. Open drawers and cabinets if necessary. Select five to ten items and make a list of them.
Write down all the magical correspondences of the items that you can think of. Brainstorm five ways that each item can be used in a magical working. Brainstorm ten ways that the items can be used in combination with each other. If you're feeling extra creative, try to write a spell that incorporates as many of the items as possible.
Repeat this with other rooms and other items. This will help you build a list of ideas of what you can do with the materials you have to have as well as helping you practice identifying magical correspondences.
For bonus points, turn the exercise around by listing five types of spells and sussing out how to cast multiple examples of each one using just the items you can find around your home.
Pro-tip: Don't just limit yourself to herbs and art supplies. Get creative!
Happy Witching!

Beginner Class - Correspondences 101
Ancient Craft & Occultism
Correspondences 101
By KB
Tumblr media
Introduction
Welcome back to another lesson! Today, we're diving head first into the world of correspondences. What exactly are they? Why do we use them? We're going to discuss that and more in this lesson! Let's get to it.
What Are Correspondences?
In essence, correspondences are objects or aspects of objects that represent symbolism in direct correlation with a specific energy. Practically anything and everything has the potential to be a correspondence, therefore correspondences are subject to change depending upon the individual practitioner. Some of you may find yourself attributing certain emotions with colors - this itself is an example of a correspondence. Everything has its own energy, and using the energy that is in direct relation to your spellworking allows for that energy to be amplified and released into your work.
As Antoine Faivre (a French Occultist) states in his book Access to Western Esotericism:
"Symbolic and real correspondences (there is no room for abstractions here!) are said to exist among all parts of the universe, both seen and unseen....These correspondences, considered more or less veiled at first sight, are, therefore, intended to be read and deciphered....The principles of noncontradiction and excluded middle of linear causality are replaced here by those of the included middle and synchronicity. We can distinguish two kinds of correspondences. First, those that exist in nature, seen and unseen, e.g. between the seven metals and the seven planets, between the planets and parts of the human body or character (or of society). This is the basis of astrology - correspondence between the natural world and the invisible departments of the celestial and supercelestial world, etc. Next there are correspondences between nature (the cosmos) or even history, and revealed texts. Here we find the Kabbalah, whether Jewish or Christian, and varieties of 'physica sacra'....Ultimately the world stage is a linguistic phenomena."
Or as Pierre Riffard (a French philosopher) states in his book Dictionnaire de L'ésotérisme:
"The doctrine of analogy and correspondence, present in all esoteric schools of thinking, upholds that the Whole is One and that its different levels (realms, worlds) are equivalent systems, whose parts are in strict correspondence. So much so that a part in a realm symbolically reflects and interacts with the corresponding part in another realm. For instance, the Sun in the mineral realm is the counterpart of the Lion in the animal realm. The relation between A and B is similar to the relation between C and D. The microcosm and macrocosm are analogous, that is, equivalent, similar in their structures, even though they are outwardly dissimilar. The parts are in strict correspondence, closely knit together and closely interacting: thus feet/pisces, veins/rivers."
This is exactly why you use specific herbs, go for specific timing or moon phases, use certain colored candles, and much more.
Why Do We Use Them?
When raising our energy and directing our energy towards our goal, it's very useful to have elements that align with that as a means to amplify the energy. It takes less energy on the practitioner's end, as the natural energy of the objects being utilized is aligned with the energy needed in the work. A lot of it has to do with association, as that's a natural way for our mind's to process information. If you're doing a spell or ritual that is about healing, and you include a solar symbol or something orange, your mind may focus on a different energy rather than healing, which would interfere with the energy of your working.
It's important to make sure all correspondences are considered with your personal associations of things as a means to help you raise and direct energy.
Can I Make My Own Correspondences?
As stated above, the energies connected to particular items are known as correspondences, and they can be employed to increase the power and efficacy of your spell while also giving additional energy. These energies are influenced by a variety of elements, such as nature, colors, history, and culinary and medicinal applications. You would probably find at least one or two lists of correspondences for frequently used items in any book on witchcraft, especially for herbs and crystals. While the majority of correspondence lists are excellent, there are occasionally those that contain ambiguous correspondences, thus it is crucial to investigate any correspondences you are unsure about. Even if I wholeheartedly endorse the usage of these lists, especially for novice practitioners, how can we do away with them, particularly those in which we are unsure about the source of the information?
Look At Practical Uses
Examining the object's beneficial uses is the simplest method to get started writing your own correspondences. How do you utilize the item on a daily basis? What role does it play in the home? Take the broom, for instance. The broom's primary use is to sweep up dirt and debris from the house. Brooms can therefore be used to tidy up an area. Is the plant you're looking at utilized for cooking? What flavor does it have? What flavor does it add to the food? Is it able to glue the elements together, thicken, or color them? What is it used for if it has therapeutic uses? Does it relieve pain, calm rashes, improve focus, promote sleep, or treat infections?
Cayenne peppers, for instance, are hot and add long-lasting heat to the dish. They can also be used medicinally to reduce pain, increase metabolism, and hasten digestion. Based on these real-world applications, cayenne can be used to speed up a spell for a long time, eliminate rivals, or ignite your romantic life. We can begin to deduce some of their elemental correspondences from these practical applications. The cayenne pepper, which is hot and red, is related to the element Fire, whereas the broom, which is sturdy and purifying, is related to the element Earth.
Historical Uses
Once you have examined an item's practical applications, you might explore its history. Most things we use every day, especially those found in nature, are covered in folklore. To start figuring out other correspondences for an object, I advise consulting mythology, urban legends, medical books, and other historical documents. It takes time and needs critical thought to determine correspondences, but the effort is definitely worth it.
Scientific Nature
Next, start examining the object's scientific nature. The easiest way to do this is to use natural objects like plants, rocks, fungi, animals, insects, and other living and nonliving things that are present in your local environment. Where is the item often located? What features or qualities distinguish it from other things? What function does it serve in the ecosystem? Does it exhibit any distinctive behaviors? Take the flavor of mint. Almost all mint species develop swiftly and prolifically. If you don't watch them, your entire yard will be taken over. They are associated with abundance, prosperity, and fertility because of their prodigious nature. Some of these scientific correspondences are simple to infer, while others require some additional research.
Your Intuition
When determining an object's correspondences, the first three ways use logic; your intuition uses your psychology and emotions. Intuition is one of a witch's strongest weapons, although our contemporary culture frequently downplays its accuracy and trustworthiness. Start by wrapping your consciousness around the item in meditation before using your intuition to find correspondences. What does your intuition have to say about the thing? What comes to mind when you think of the thing you're looking at? Personal correspondence frequently starts in this area. At least for you, your personal connection to an object and the correspondences you create by employing your intuition have incredible power.
Consult With Spirit
Finally, you can speak with the object's spirit to learn more about its correspondences. The concept of animism holds that all things, both living and nonliving, have a spirit that we can interact with and form relationships with. This is easier said than done, and before attempting this kind of communication, you must be able to distinguish between your own intuition and mental chatter. It's normal for some witches, especially novice witches, to struggle with this correspondence determination process. This is an excellent chance for you to develop your spiritual gifts. Start by grounding and meditating with the object in issue, just like you would when using your intuition to determine correspondences. However, leave yourself open rather than putting your mind into the thing.
Keep the general mental chatter at bay and concentrate on the work at hand. Set out with the goal of listening rather than speaking. Depending on the object, you might hear it speak loud and clear in full sentences, or you might only see a flash of color or experience an emotion. But the secret is to approach this situation with no expectations. The item may not speak to you at all because you are not entitled to a dialogue with it. However, by building a relationship with the object beforehand, you can increase the possibility that it will communicate to you. Offer it gifts, communicate with it, take care of it, etc. Do essentially everything you would to make a new friend.
You will gain a strong understanding of how to employ the object in your own magical practice after combining these five techniques. Additionally, it will improve your magical practice overall and reinforce your bond with the object, enhancing its effectiveness as a component of your spells. The object will be considerably more likely to help you if you can communicate with its spirit.

ancient greek magic
these are just the two most notable techniques that were used in ancient greece, since they are frequently recovered in archeological digs
KOLOSSOI:
-wood, stone, clay, or wax effigies with the target's name engraved on it
-impaled with needles in the eyes, mouth, and genitals to sexually attract the bound person (though needles may be impaled in other areas to cause blindness, confusion, or the like)
-buried in tiny coffins or restrained with rope for curses
-kolossoi can also be used for good, like healing or protection, it all depends on the incantation said over it and engraved on the tablet/parchment inside
KATADESMOI:
-also called curse tablets, these are invocations carved into thin pieces of lead which are then rolled up and pierced with a nail
-could accompany a kolossoi or a piece of the target (hair, nails, blood, etc.)
-invocations are usually along the line of "I hereby bind [name of target], may [target] be defeated/cured/etc., and let [target] be healed/restrained/etc."
these were often buried in graves, thrown in wells, or where three roads met in the hopes that Hermes would find them and carry out what is desired

Spell Energetics: How to Apply the concept of Herbal Energetics to your spell work
Tumblr media
Note: I'm drawing here from my knowledge of herbal energetics as they are recognized in multiple herbalism systems, my knowledge of astrology, and the concepts of sympathetic magic - if this isn't your thing, please just move along.
The four elements and the concepts of Energetics run consistently through the framework of much of the Western magic systems but it's something that is often overlooked. Suppose rather than relegating the elements to something that we call upon ritualistically to join us in our magic works (or, that must be represented on an altar), we instead stop and consider what they are, and what they do. In that case, we can gain a deeper understanding of how magic works on a human being.
The idea of the four elements and their associated qualities (dry, warm, cool, and moist - now known as herbal energetics) comes from the Athenian philosopher Aristotle. The fire element is warm, the earth element is cool, the air element is dry, and the water element is wet. This shows a remarkable difference from the modern astrological association of earth being opposed to water, and air to fire as it is shown on the astrological wheel; here, hot is opposed to cold (fire to earth) and dry to wet (air to water). It is worth noting that this can be somewhat proven through action - earth puts out fire, for instance. Today, we understand that there is more to healthfulness than balancing energetics (thank you antibiotics, vaccines, and insert your favorite modern medical miracle here) but there are still a number of views on wellness that encourage considering them. Maybe someday I will write more of this and how it relates to synastry, but let's focus on how this can be used in magic.
From here, we need to take a dive into modern herbalism. Why are we doing this? Because most people use all sorts of herbal components as ingredients in our spells and many of our correspondences have their roots in how that plant matter interacts with the human body. One of the major considerations when choosing an herb is what its Action is on the human body. These actions include Heating (Warm/Fire), Cooling (Cool/Water), Drying (Dry/Air), and Wetting (Moist/Water).
We use these actions all of the time without even knowing that we are doing them. Most cocktail people know that you want to drink a Mint Julip in the summer to cool you down (mint is a Cooling herb). On the other hand, if you need a pick me up, Chai tea which is full of warming herbs - even noncaffeinated versions like Bengal Spice - does the trick. The marshmallow (a Moist herb) does the coating of the throat in "Throat Coat" tea. The conditions of warm/cool/dry/moist are so normal to use as human beings that we tend to overlook them and adjust for them automatically.
With this in mind, I want to bring up a few ways in which this can be applied in witchcraft.
Warm is nice and pleasant. A lot of the warming herbs are used in money and sex magic - they make us feel good. But, like any good thing, they might need to be consumed in moderation. Candles carry the innate action of warmth and just think about how important fire safety is. Some herbs that warm cannot always be handled with bare hands (spicy peppers cause capsaicin burns) and these have long-documented uses in baneful magics of all kinds.
Cool magic can be used to calm and control. It can be used to put a particular situation on ice so that you don't have to deal with it. It can bring down fevers. It can soothe bad tempers and hot-headedness. It can preserve. It can also protect and insulate.
Dry magic can also be used to preserve. It can dry up emotions and stifle passion. It can draw out something or draw something away from a situation. It can create space.
Moist magic can be overflowing and generous. It can also be stagnant and suffocating. Moisture can revive life. It can also drown it.
It is worth noting that all aspects of these factors are always present in our lives. And they don't exist in a vacuum - everything is a combination of the two Aristotlean categories: you have Warm Moist or Warm Dry, and Cool Moist or Cool Dry.
We use these principles in magic all of the time. Anytime that you are using a liquid in a jar spell, you are applying the concept of Moist. If you are applying salt or rice to drain an object, you are using the concept of Dry. A freezer spell is an obvious example of Cool and any time that you are burning something you are using the concept of Warm.
But let's go a step further. If you are trying to do a warming spell, wouldn't it make sense to use specifically only warming herbs - or, at least - herbs that don't counteract Warmth (aka abstain from using cooling herbs?). Remember, these herbs have a natural and calculable effect on the human body so one would assume that, when used as part of a spell directed at a human body, they will have a similar effect. Even if you're a total candle head (I get it - I LOVE candle magic), consider not adding a candle to a spell meant to freeze somebody out.
When casting a hex, it is worth considering whether you want to burn them out with fire or take the slower more calculated path of ice. (Stop me from quoting Robert Frost here...) If you need to separate a couple who thrives on relationship conflict, drying them out could be a good option - more specifically, I'd probably use cool/dry.
Really we are getting into the basics of all sympathetic magic: using a thing that has an obvious effect to transfer that effect, through our spell, to the spell's intended target. This is why I have been very specific in saying that this applies to magic cast on a human being - here we are using the principles of Energetics and how they affect humans. For a spell on an animal or your house, entirely different sympathetic principles would apply.
The next time that you are choosing between two herbs that are said to have the same associations, consider whether one might be better than the other based on the Energetic nature of that plant. You might find a whole new level of casting open up to you.
Do you like my work? You can support my writing by tipping me over on Kofi.

I think one of my favorite things to say, especially at work, if I'm busy and something goes wrong or is taking too long to finish properly, is "awe shitfire!" And "piss'n'vinegar!" It always makes anyone around me laugh because Country(tm) but also it makes me feel like I'm jinxing the damned thing right back, or in certain cases, making Verbal War Water. Which. Albeit may not be a good thing. But it's definitely something to pay attention to because the same principle can be applied to say, protection or encouragement/strength! (For that one I say yee-fuckin-haw to draw, with the response of anyone around me being haw-fuckin-yee to seal it in)
You don't have to be so outright with it either, but your words do have power, so why not use it? I wish my customers to have a magical evening, and the servers to have someone fall in love and tip 100 bucks! Or to the people taller than myself who reach or read things for me "blessed be thine arms/eyes" as a way of thanks and a little bit of protection.

Witchcraft Exercise - Creating Correspondences
Tumblr media
There are dozens of plant species in the arsenal of the green witch. Commonly-used varieties and usage varies somewhat between traditions, but most of us are fairly familiar with industry standards like basil, bay, rosemary, sage, and so on.
But what do you do when faced with a plant that has no listed magical correspondences anywhere that you can find in your witchcraft library? Simple - you create some.
Allow me to demonstrate with a little plant I found in my own backyard. It's a common weed called Virginia copperleaf (Acalypha virginica). But despite it's widespread range and abundant growth as a field weed, there are surprisingly few references to the plant in regional folk medicine and none at all that I could find in contemporary witchcraft.
So in order to incorporate this hardy little weed into my practice, I set about creating some correspondences for it.
First, I researched the physical properties of the plant. It is a small annual spurge with long taproots, a resistance to drought and many herbicides, and a reputation for fast growth and being difficult to eradicate from fields due to prolific seeding. The leaves turn coppery-red in the fall and small spiky flowers bloom among the foliage. It is also mildly poisonous. The juice of the plant may cause contact dermatitis or a mild rash in some people and if ingested, it may cause GI symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhea.
Next, I researched references to the plant in folk medicine. I could only find a single reference that cited copperleaf as a possible diuretic and expectorant. That does track with the previous mention of GI symptoms, but it doesn't mean the plant is safe to use. I did discover that an alternate name for the plant is three-seeded mercury or mercury weed, likely because of its' tendency for fast growth and the fact that it is propagated by the wind.
So now comes the business of creating the correspondences, using the physical properties of the plant as a basis.
The first and most obvious association is strength. Any weed that is resistant to drought and herbicide and uprooting is bound to be useful for spells involving tenacity and fortitude. Prosperity is also a likely use, both because of the name copperleaf and the way in which the plant grows and spreads quickly. Because of the alternate name mercury weed and the wind propagation, it could be used for wind magic or communication spells. (I often associate the element of air with communication and the name of a messenger god is right there as well, but your mileage may vary.)
The plant could also be used as an ingredient for baneful magic, either to bind and frustrate someone's efforts by consuming available ground where their ambitions might grow, or in its' capacity as a mild poison, to cause physical discomfort and stomach trouble.
So in the end, I have a handful of copperleaf and a listing in my witchbook that details the properties of the plant and notes that it could be useful for spells involving strength, tenacity, prosperity, wind, or communication, as well as possible baneful uses including binding, discomfort, and sickness.
This is my system for assigning correspondences to previously-unknown plants, and I encourage readers to use it as a template for their own practices or to create their own system. Either way, I recommend the use of a field guide or plant identification app like PlantNet to properly identify plants as you find them. Remember to forage and harvest responsibly, be a good steward of the land around you, and always label your plant cuttings.
Happy Witching! 💚🌿

new protection blend for low spoon witches (or anyone really)
Okay so you know how we can use eggshells for protection? And that you normally store them some variation of broken up?
Well I tried to put some of mine from breakfast in the coffee grinder....only to realize there was some coffee bean grounds in it. Now we also know that coffee can be used for grounding, and to make whatever you put it in (potions) more potent.
So naturally my chronically low spoon ass had a lightbulb moment and realized that this could work very well together.
So my point is save your spoons. As long as everything is shelf stable who the hell cares. Bonus points if it makes something stronger. Happy witching!

Warding and Protection During Spirit Flight
This Post is for and dedicated to @ivycrownedwitch, who generously commissioned me for research by way of donation to the CvltSqvad Fundraiser, to gather together spells or talismans on warding, and protection during spirit flight. NGL, This was a bit of a tricky ask, and I honestly wasn’t sure where to start to find historical examples 😅 However, the search was not entirely fruitless at least from an operative witchcraft angle, and I found a few solid examples, and enough related information that anyone interested should be able to build out a warding method from a variety of materials for a variety of use cases.
In The Viridarium Umbris,  Daniel Schulke  lists a variety of plants that could be allied to suit the purpose with a little ingenuity:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Of further interest to the topic of protection while outside the body, are these sections of Roger J Hornes Folk Witchcraft: A Guide To Lore, Land, and the Familiar Spirit for the Solitary Practitioner::
“Mallow is often prepared as an unguent and applied to the body in order to protect against harm and cushion the wearer from metaphorical “barbs” he or she may experience.”
“[…] Simple talisman is made of rowan berries, pierced and dried, then strung on a red thread. Over it, the following charm is spoken to awaken its protective qualities:
                        Rowan Berry and red thread,
Bring all evil to its sped.”
“[..] charm of defense and blessing was used against “elf-shot” a kind of attack from the spirit world that could be performed by faeries or by witches during spirit-flight.
                       I charge thee against arrowshot,
                      against doorshot, against wombshot,
                      against eyeshot, against tongueshot,
                      against livershot, against lungshot,
                      against heartshot, all the most.
In our Lady’s name, I pray it.”
In Traditional Witchcraft: A Cornish Book of Ways, Author Gemma Gary Provides the following: This recipe, apparently intended to be employed as a sprinkling powder:
“To raise a protective boundary in preparation for potentially dangerous, harmful, or unfamiliar situations and in cases of suspected ill-wishing:
Clove Oil - 5 drops
Dragons Blood - 2 tsp
Fern - 3 tsp
Frankincense - 1 tsp
Holly - 1 tsp
Horehound - 1 tsp
Juniper - 1 tsp
Mint oil - 3 tsp
Mullein - 1 ½ tsp,
Pine needles - 1 tsp,
Alum 1 - 1 ½ tsp
As well as the following charm:
“An old iron key, tied to a red cord that passes through a hag stone, is another charm that employs the holed stone to bestow otherworldy protection upon the home and all who dwell within it, whilst also making use of the potent protective qualities of iron”
In The Black Toad, The same author provides these examples of protective warding talismans, which could likely be put to good use for the purpose*:

The following paper talisman found in the Black Toad is an interesting example of talismanic magic, and several variations of this seal exist, a version also appears in Reginald Scot’s Discoverie of Witchcraft:

Within The Galdabrok, (Flowers translation) are found a number of talismans for similar ends, which could also be leveraged specifically for the purpose of astral travel:

The Element Encyclopedia of 5000 Spells By  Judika Isles is likely my least favorite texts to source, but does list the following:
“ROLOR Square
This magic square allegedly enables you to fly like a crow. Write the following onto parchment, preferably using Raven’s Feather Ink [Typo?]
R O L O R
O B U F O
L U A U L
O F U B O
R O L O R
Pin this paper to your chest. Close your eyes, relax, and see whether you fly.”
The same text recommends an incense for spirit flight,  originally authored by  Dion Fortune:
“Benzoin Dittany of Crete Sandalwood Vanilla bean Grind all the dried ingredients into a fine powder, burn on lit charcoal [..]”
As well as another incense, composed of Mugwort and Dittany of Crete, also employed as a powder, and recommends petition of the Goddess Artemis:
“Dittany of Crete and Mugwort, two herbs closely associated with Artemis, offer assistance with accomplishing astral projection, and protection during the journey.”
Burn the Herbs as incense to accompany your journey
fill a pillow with the combined herbs
Simultaneously appeal to Artemis for assistance with your goal”
And recommends maintaining Air Potatoes (Dioscorea bulbifera) on your property to prevent uninvited witches from reaching your home through spirit flight.
Again, thanks to @ivycrownedwitch for commissioning me for research by way of donation to the Cvltsqvad Fundraiser for Sloth!
If you would like me to dig up some spells in a similar vein from these and similar texts, please read the pinned post on my blog and make a donation to our fundraiser!

Methods of Spiritual Cleansing 🦄🌸🌷
As we (hopefully) cleanse our physical bodies routinely with care, our energetic bodies need just as much attention. According to the first law of thermodynamics, energy cannot be created nor destroyed, but it can be transformed. Cleansing is the act of converting existing stagnant or negative energy into harmonious, good vibes.
Soul Scrubbing 🧼🧿
Generally, cleansing is recommended at least weekly. Of course, the frequency is flexible and dependent on your spiritual practice. Here’s a list of special circumstances that would benefit from cleansing.
When you feel unbalanced or “off”
Before and after spell work
After having an argument
When feeling low vibrational emotions such as sadness, resentment, anger, guilt, or shame
When experiencing a lack of abundance
Before a deep meditation
Now, let’s dive into how exactly to cleanse the energetic bodies!
Body By Spirit 🌍
The first energetic body that needs spiritual cleansing is your physical one. The element of Earth rules this energy field.
Smoke Cleansing 🌱💨
This practice involves burning any plant (except sage) via incense sticks, herb bundles, or a censer. In whichever method you choose, after the herbs are well-lit and smoking consistently, envelop the object or person in the smoke. To purify a room or house, walk through the area letting the smoke seep into the air and pour into the space. You can visualize a white light around the object, person, or place transmuting anything dormant into balanced energy. It’s usually a good idea to have a window open during this process.
Please note that smudging, a ceremonial practice burning sage, is a closed practice reserved for people indigenous to America only. It’s important to help preserve beautiful, unique cultures by respectfully keeping their practices out of our spiritual path if we do not share their cultural background.
Music 🎶🌈
This method is pretty simple. Use any type of music you like and allow the vibrations to overtake your surroundings! Bonus points for playing an instrument or creating your own music. As long as you have the intention set to cleanse, you can’t really go wrong. While you’re at it, go ahead and dance the bad vibes away. 🩰
Emotion of the Ocean 🌊
This energetic body is known as the emotional, astral, or dream body. It’s the field where we’re able to receive and interpret psychic information and is connected to the element of Water.
Bathing 🛀
Creating a bath spell or ritual bath is a relaxing and effective method to cleanse the emotional body, not to mention self-care. Run the bath with care and infuse it with the intention to deeply cleanse your astral body. Use any bath bombs, essential oils, crystals, or candles you want! I suggest adding sea salt to draw out and neutralize any negative energy. Apple cider vinegar is recommended for similar properties. The rest is up to you!
Blessed Water 🧊🙏
Water designated for energetic cleansing has many uses. You can create this by simply mixing sea salt with water and blessing it in whatever way aligns with your spiritual practice. You can add any herbs or crystals to this water, but make sure the crystals aren’t damaged by water or salt before using them. You can use this to brush door frames, touch chakra points, or spray rooms.
Mellow Mind 🧠
The mental body can be difficult to cleanse, but it can lead to the insight of awareness if we take the time to journey within. What we think creates what we feel which creates what we say and do. The mental body is linked with the element of Air.
Routine Meditation 👑🌹
Establishing a meditation routine is key to becoming aware of your thoughts and being open to receive Divine Guidance. There are many studies showing the benefits of regular meditation such as decreased blood pressure, improved sleep, increased attention, and decreased symptoms of depression and anxiety. You can start with ten minutes a day and notice any changes you experience. It’s worth it.
These are just some of the ways you can spiritually cleanse your physical, emotional, and mental energetic bodies. There are many other methods out there if none of these resonated with you. Remember to be creative and have fun with it!
