My two of my friends in heaven. Well I learned after getting a @WayneState #opera BA in #Detroit from the best. Here's Barrett Strong Jr. (War, Grapevine, +) and Robert Bateman (Please Mr. Postman + #Motown's 1st engineer) hanging before a performance of mine in #DowntownDetroit @Campus.Martius. I would listen as they told me stories almost everyday about what to do, who did what, how to sing like this etc etc 🎙️ One trip from Detroit to #Nashville in the late 90's with these two gentlemen to perform at "Tin Pan South" @BMI was fun and a bit wild. Driving in a two door white jaguar with moi in the backseat and you can only imagine the stories. This is just just one of my many days listening, learning and becoming the artist I am today.
