putting on the 36633636637th monica vitti movie where she's trying to breathe life into a role that's just her being knocked around for comedic effect and expecting it to be different

[그리스도는 에볼리에서 멈추었다] 촬영장에서 비전문 배우들과 함께 춤추는 프란체스코 로시 감독과 GMV. 볼론테가 미소지으면서 춤추는 모습이라니 매우 소중하다.

la notte brava....... jean claude brialy tomas milian and laurent terzieff doing the most with their gay rituals, rosanna schiaffino, elsa martinelli, antonella laudi and more serving beauty glamour and f-g haggotry, all in the context of a passolini script about ~morally corrupt youth (=gay men and promiscous women) directed by king mauro bolognini.... the biggest event of 1959 for the girls and the gays

seeing peeping tom 1960 really made me wish i was watching the strangler 1970 actually.... like i know the obvious comparison would be la prisonniére but to me it had the vibe of prisonniére and the themes of the strangler. and i could go about how this and that was brought up in peeping tom and then not explored further and used to its potential but if i'm honest with myself i think the reason it didn't work bc it was too 50s. like i know it was released in 1960 but for me it comletely 50s in acting styles editing everything and i'm just not feeling the 50s now. like let's have a similar story to it like the aforementioned two but in the 60s and 70s w the quick cuts, insane performances and self hating homosexuals and it's an instant hit... to me. but i can't watch the strangler again just now bc just remembering the opening sequence makes me too crazy like i just have to take time to settle down
