He shook his head. “Not those. The good one. The light blue one with the hole in the cuff and the stain on the hood from Nora splashing beer on me. My blue one.”
It was his favorite one. He’d gotten it in his freshman year of college. It fit just right in a way that none of the others did, like a hug. That one had gotten him through countless all-nighters in campaign offices, midterms, finals, sleepovers with Nora and June, everything. It had gotten him through a sexuality crisis when Henry had kissed him on New Year’s Eve. It was comfortable and familiar and warm.
And he couldn’t fucking find it.
“I brought it with to Texas, and now I can’t find it.”

Amidst everything else going on in his head after Henry leaves him at the lake house, Alex has searched high and low for his favorite, light blue hoodie with absolutley no luck. He lost it, and he lost Henry, and he's not processing either one well. In pain and so mad at Henry, there's a chill in his bones that hasn't gone away since he realized the hoodie is gone.
When he flies across an ocean to yell at Henry and tell him he loves him, he might just be able to get both of them back.
