This one was a long time coming and definitely something I meant to do earlier, but here we go now! I am not okay for this man - I adore him WAY too much. If you all haven't checked the story out yet (and this marvelous beast of a mer) I implore you to! It's wonderfully written, and the characterization is a masterpiece.

Thanks for sharing such a wonderful story, Naff! This man lives on in my heart in ways that shouldn't be.

It's been forever since I drew something, but here's a character reference sheet of Eclipse from the little AU I'm writing! Or whom I will lovingly reference to as Ruined Eclipse (no relation to the Ruin DLC, I'm just not very clever at titles).

He's the mob boss/drug lord of the city and is essentially the Big Bad the characters face in Misericorde. He has a few neat features going for him I'm saving to reveal later, but I wanted to draw a reference to base him off regardless!

It's a little busy, but I thought trying to style it like a hand-drawn report from dear detective was a cute idea. Let me know if anyone wants a clean background version instead for easier reading!

Appearance-wise, he's pretty desaturated and bland but the sunrays on his head are very much a centerpiece he tries to maintain for a variety of reasons. He does have four arms with the lower right one being non-functioning and useless. In the events of the story, his injuries will be explained.

He is missing an eye (courtesy of one Montgomery Gator and now yourself) and very much would like to have it back. Please.

As for personality, well, he's an eccentric. Calculating, threatening, and maybe just a little crazy/unhinged. Life hasn't been kind to him. I will say, spoiler-free, that he wasn't always like this, but any past events that led up to that may be explored later in the story. Parts of it at least!

DCA Detective x Reader Detective AU

A second knock echoes through your office. It's a tad louder this time; impatient.

“Did you forget something, Mister Afton?” You call out. But there is no immediate answer. You lift your head from your notes, your tired eyes squinting to cut through the glare of the lamplight. You think it's your chief of police at first, but the shadowy figure beyond the frosted glass looks taller. You narrow your gaze to better look past the cone of light. Upon further inspection, the shape sort of resembles... Sun? Perhaps he forgot something.

You raise from your seat and take a few steps to the door, lips frowning around your cigarette. One of your hands comes up to gingerly rub at the sore spot on the back of your head while you walk. "I don't know what you're doing, Sun, but you shouldn't be here. Precinct is already locked." You announce. As you draw near, you find yourself suddenly stalled in place.

Through the glass you can make out the glow of a single yellow eye. That isn't Sun.

Part 4 is here, folks, and oh boy was this an interesting one to write! Eclipse finally shows his face after being teased and talked about for chapters now. Did you know we're already at Chapter 6? 36000 words for the series already, crazy! I hope you all enjoy it! I had some help with some of Eclipse's dialogue courtesy of @jesterlly

DCA Detective x Reader Detective AU

“Where do you think it would be?” You finally break the silence, glancing to him. Your head tips all the way up, almost knocking your hat askew in an attempt to meet his gaze.

He regards you before looking about the surrounding interior. A hum vibrates through his chassis.

“Hard to say, dear. There aren’t many places he could hide it. I mean,” Sun sweeps a jointed hand across the room, “look at the space available. Where do you hide a drug lord’s eye without making it obvious?”

Part 3 is up! This is a really long one, so buckle in for a rather plot heavy chapter. It was difficult to write but I had fun putting the interactions together at least. I didn't link part 2 here, but you can find it with the rest of the series. Hope you all enjoy!

A/N: This chapter put me through the wringer, mostly getting through the first half, but after rewriting and ironing out a few things, I think I've got it to where I'm happy enough to release it into the wild. I'm so stoked about this! We'll get some more lovely penguin references and then a bit of a scare and maybe something a little even more unexpected at the end.

No special warnings for this chapter, just more of this guy being way too grabby!

DCA Detective x Reader Detective AU

“Enough,” you tap your ash out on the floor, mentally wincing at force of habit, “I’m not exactly in the mood to entertain tonight so let’s get to brass tacks, shall we? You are...?”

The animatronic’s posture straightens and you hear the clicking of gears and servos as he leans across the table. “You’re new partner.” The words feel like a slap to your face.

You lean back, hitting the booth seat cushions behind you and shake your head. No way. You’re assignment didn’t call for an animatronic partnership.

EDIT: Disregard the private thing. I actually decided to say screw it and open it up for everyone. Rejoice!

I haven't been active on this tumblr for a long time, but I thought I'd drop a link that, surprise, I finally got around to writing a Daycare Attendant/reader story! Wow, I know. Shocker!

It pulls inspiration from @sunnys-aesthetic's Detective AU and @naffeclipse's Sleuth Jesters stories! Without them, this little one-shot wouldn't be possible!

It's private for readers who only have accounts. Sorry, guests, but the way everything's going, I thought it was the safer option... I may open it to the public if more people want to read it, though.

One last set to end 2022! I figured I wanted to do a sketch of the boys’ fins and of their functions, and thus this was born. Plus, a sheet on sensitivity (or where/where not to pet/touch) because I had to be a little extra. Anterior view for reference.

The red marks on the sensitivity chart are particular to spots that have high reaction response. While hands/Sun’s poisonous barbs are obvious, the fins and colour blocked areas on the chest and between the pelvic fins are a mating response. Look up horses. They’re very similar.

Most of the past memories of moon have been damaged in a fire accident when he regained consciousness already in F.F company, since then moon and sun started working for them

Sun and moon are two different programs sharing the same body

Both programs work together to balance each other

However sun was deactivated by F.F.company because of some reason, moon still can function but without sun program, moon getting change become more violent

The very first time moon met yn was in a task
