I'm the only guy who uses masculine pronouns who gets really pissed off when he reads a fanfic and it says GENDER NEUTRAL, so when you read it you simply find what

"Girlfriend" "My girl" "My woman" "Mama"

Like, bitch doesn't matter if you're using a neutral pronoun, the moment you use a feminine pronoun stop being a gender-neutral reader

But I think this only gets worse in smut fanfics

The person goes there and puts GENDER NEUTRAL AFAB READER

So if you're a person with afab who isn't cis, wow, a fanfic with my genitals but neutral pronouns so I don't have dysphoria or feel uncomfortable!

And guess what? Again you will find it there

Look man, let's be honest, do you want to write solely for female and Afab readers? Okay, it's your right! You can do this completely at will and with a clear conscience

But for god's sake! DON'T PUT ON THAT YOU'RE A FUCKING GENDER NEUTRAL READER IF YOU'RE GOING TO EVENTUALLY USE FEMALE PRONOUNS

haven't got blocked so far, and a few ( surpisingly ) actually did start tagging and marking the gender of the reader!!! my faith isn't completely restored with the fanfiction female community with those who aren't in my circles, but it's there. microscopic but still there.

Hella fucked up that a fuckin’ trans person on tiktok saying trans people can be attractive is leading to numerous threats.

Trans folk deserve to know that we’re hot, we deserve to be appreciated without being fetishised or kept in the shadows to be profited from while we’re looked down upon.

The only way to do that is to unapologetically and openly love ourselves in whatever iteration we are. Whether you want every medical option available or none of them, regardless of where you are in your journey or even whether you’re openly trans or stealth, you deserve to know you’re important, attractive, loved and deserve happiness, not in spite of your transness but because of it.
