trying to consume all yuri manga in existence just to find the few whose writers actually care about representing actual lesbians, and which aren't obviously catered towards straight people or boys, has left me horribly exhausted and burnt out. I hereby declare that I give up. no more yuri.

but on the more optimistic side of things: there is a whole world of sapphic stories by queer writers outside of yuri, and I'm eager to explore it! I'll take recommendations from anyone, even for smaller indie writers and random webnovels, and will continue to write my own games and stories to create the gay that I want to see in the world!!

I was briefly working on one just for fun and to play around with MCreator, made models, items, and very basic functionality for five characters before getting stumped on something and losing interest.

I don't have any plans to go back and finish or release it 'cus I've got gamedev to be doing, but I got some cute pictures out the experience

My latest game jam entry is out! Very short turn-based/action RPG hybrid with lotsa SNES-style inspirations and at least one mechanic from an unlocalized licensed anime TRPG for the DS. That's a bit of a mouthful.

Rating the game requires rating a few other games from the jam so I'll understand if that's too much effort to go through, but I will encourage checking out some of those other entries regardless!
