Either dude went Full Theatrics and magicked himself a throne room so he could watch us fight his minions to the death for Fun and Profit...

Or there was already a throne room there.

Y'know who else fucked around with the worldstone all the time? Y'know whose a megalomaniacal jackass with a god complex and saw himself as ruling over all? Y'know who was already depicted sitting on a throne on Sanctuary?

😋I haven't used this style of drawing in a long time. I checked out the game concept art and found that Malthael looks surprisingly strong, even though he appears somewhat slim in the game.😮(I think he looks slim, but in fact, it's not the case. It feels like he could easily rip off Tyrael's arm, partly because Tyrael is in human form.😌

The original 'Plan' (so to speak) for TGF AU was for Diablo to still attempt possessing Leah, and eventually be defeated by his daughter, yada yada yada.

It'd be funny if he tried to join her though.

Adria has cooked up this Whole Elaborate Plan to put all the Evils into this girl, with Terror coming out on top. She has everything ready, everything in place.

Then it comes time for her to be possessed and...feelings? Happen??? Maybe Diablo has been watching from afar this whole time, the way his girl has taken on the world and been maturing into a proper warrior witch.

He's lowkey jealous AF of Tyrael's role in her life. It wasn't so bad when it was just the old man, but an angel raising his daughter? That's some BS right there.

So he just. Doesn't. Possess his daughter. Adria could kill him.

Instead we get Crow-Diablo, the rough equivalent of Mephisto's wolf apparition.

He can take Inarius's place as the ornery bastard spellcaster after he dies lol 'Cept Li-Ming would actually kick his ass instead of just bantering a bit.

Male angel and female demon oc that are married. And still are even during the event of D4 they choose to stay out of the eternal conflict still and remain hidden among the mortal world. They also had children at one point but were both lost during the purge while still grief stricken to this day they have lessen the pain by Thier love.
