Do they have a ship name? If not, may I propose 'Wishbone'?

They both have a motif of different things someone could wish on: Vee has a dandelion motif and Mona has a sword that looks like a shooting star (the handle is the star and the blade is the trail). They have an earth and sky thing going on.

They are a power couple and will fight and kill to protect the ones they love for the 'bone' aspect. Also... if you look at a wishbone with the two halves upward, it can look like both a 'V' and a 'Y'.

I have been wanting to design a Teegardian since @somerandomdudelmao introduced them! The birds <3 I love them <3 

After I realized that 'Teegardian' sounds a lot like 'Tea- Garden(ian)', the design came immediately. I knew I wanted to use a real world bird as inspiration and so used a warbler, a small, often yellow songbird.

So… this is Lily. I went all out with the round shapes and fluff. I wanted her to be a very animated character (for lack of a better description). She’s always thinking out loud or singing to herself, talks with her hands, and both sets of wings emote with her. She is an absolute open book of a character with a paper-thin poker face.

I love the potential of their head wings emoting like a dog's tail or cat's ears. Hers are bigger than most Teegardians to allow for this. Speaking of cats, her fur puffs up when she's scared or agitated. Her outfit is summery with an open back for her wings.

I'm not sure of all Teegardians have an ability or if its unique to the ones with dark spots but if I were to give Lily one it would be inspired by the concept of 'the canary in the coal mine' where she can see into the future but only an hour or two at a time, like a warning. She hasn't really needed to use it much.... until now.

It's that time of year again where it gets a little warmer and I remember that Amphibia is a show I very much enjoy thinking about. Have some Anne outfits, as a treat <3

Hello! Welcome to I focus on researching one very specific detail until I burn out!

My entire day has been consumed by figuring out how Amphibia's farming works. Like... amphibians are carnivores why do they have farms?

Well, I'll tell you why! The Plantars grow animal feed for predominantly crickets but also others such as silkworms, spiders, snails, etc. They grow produce like cabbage, mushrooms, parsnips, potatoes, dandelions, and turnips as well as heartfruit, a fruit not found on Earth.

In the past, the original amphibian hunter/gatherer societies found that mealworms were attracted to fallen heartfruit, among others. They began to use this knowledge to make traps and eventually began both containing the worms as well as growing the fruit.

Despite mealworms historical prominence in the farming and feeding of Amphibia, crickets are more popular nowadays due to their higher levels of protein. They also began growing a larger variety of produce to further increase efficiency.

Heartfruit is a kind of tree grown fruit with the color of a raspberry, size of a kumquat, and shape of a peach (hence the name). The Plantar's orchard is the only producer of this fruit as its traditionally significant but not necessary for frog kind. They are Anne's personal favorite of the Plantar's produce, being chalk full of nutrients and somehow feels nostalgic to her.

Speaking of Anne, she survives mostly on the Plantar's produce along with cricket meat (knowing that she can at least eat crickets).

After discovering that the amphibians hibernate, she begins to plant pole beans, blueberries, elderberries, and other produce and herbs in her greenhouse to cultivate while she forages and stockpiles for winter. She preps and stores wild rice, pecans, and sunflower seeds (discovered through trial and error). She keeps spare root veggies and other product in the basement. The Plantars help her do this, once they understand the situation, drying heartfruit and salting and smoking fish as well as making jerky out of bugs that they know she can have.

Anne's gonna learn to survive, even if the first winter is especially hard.

The... the latest chapter of Atlas (by @sodaspons) is out! Oh.. oh Vee. Poor babe's got a budding love triangle to deal with.

Design Notes:

The space suits are so hard for my brain. This is my second attempt at a space suit for Vee and I like this one more (the other never to be seen). Originally, I wanted to go with a heart as her signature shape, but after the face, I made it more square and went with a thin horizontal rectangle.... like a flatline....

On a better note, April is wearing Vee's mask like a scarf :)

The salamandarians are so round. It's my first time drawing them :( why must non-human faces be so difficult :(. Y'Gythgba's got stars in her eyes <3

It just occurred to me that I've never shown you guys any of my own stuff...

This is Vi. She lives on a small island in a solar punk meets cottagecore world. In between helping her family and neighbors keep their island home turning, she dives down to The Ruins and finds lost artifacts. Each one tells their own story.

Little does she know her world is a post-apocalyptic one. The sea levels rose 200 meters overnight in some unspecified or unknown disaster and everybody who needed to evacuate and survived doing so left for higher elevations. Vi's island has existed as an island for about three generations now (like her grandparents remember).

If I were to make this into a show it would be cozy and episodic, inspired by Yokohama Shopping Log, Abzu, Studio Ghibli's work, etc. There would be a cast of fun characters and personal stories about each artifact without much of an overarching story- just living life.

From a design perspective, her diving suit design is inspired by a Vaquita, the world's smallest and most endangered cetacean.

Hello! It's been a while since I've shown off my version of the turtles so I've got some April and Mikey for ya!

Notes Below if ya want to learn about these goobers:

Little weird to start with a middle child but Mikey is the second youngest of the brothers at 14. He is a southern painted turtle and the artistic generalist and social butterfly of the family.

Despite his sunshiney and dumb appearance, he is the most emotionally intelligent and observant of his siblings. Mikey uses this gift for both good and evil, encouraging his brothers to communicate openly and healthily as well as having an uncanny ability to read their enemies/ when they’re lying and who is and is not trustworthy. He has quite the silver tongue and gets away with a lot.

April is a 21 year old college student who lives in a very small apartment building in the suburbs surrounding CSU Los Reyes, the school she attends. The turtles see her as their 'cool' older sister who can do anything and go anywhere she wants. While working towards her Anthropology degree, she runs a blog on local legends and cryptids, believing them to be fun stories until she finds out just how true they are. Suffice it to say... she does not get much sleep.

April actually meets Mikey first, on a rare rainy night pulling a Pennywise, watching the world from inside a rain gutter with shiny pure white eyes. Since then, she's done as much as she can for these kids and their mom between buying fresh groceries, showing the turtles elements of human society, and spying on The Foot.

If you haven't seen/read Marble Sky by @somerandomdudelmao, I highly recommend it! It's expressive, its beautiful, it's hilarious, its everything I've come to expect from Cass's work and more because it's their own original characters and just kjdnkndkndkg I love it!

The reason I drew this to profess my love for this comic instead of say Alcor (who has my heart and soul adorable little guy) is because I do the same hairstyle as Oscar! When my hair is long enough (or too long), I will absolutely twist the whole damn thing up with a claw clip! Brought me joy when I realized <3!

Sophie Campbell's style in the IDW comics is so excellent! So shapped!

I decided to take a crack at @sodaspons's Venus de Milo for my experimenting.

As for the face markings, they take inspiration from Sophie Campbell's Secrets of the Ooze face paint designs. Vee here has a combination of Leo's and Future Lita's in a way that looks to me like a smaller heart broken and replaced with a much larger heart!

A bored Odachi! Leo attempting to serenade (while they're in the middle of an infiltration mission). He doesn't quite have the all the lyrics memorized so it's only been the first couple of lines and the chorus.

Since I included HC Rise! Miwa:

'Jitsu for Justice' (Lou's second to last film and the last one before he proposes to BM) had a lone wolf and cub storyline in which Lou meets a young deaf & mute girl and takes her on as an apprentice. She would reappear in ‘Hot Soup Forever’, Lou’s last film.

This young girl is Huay Lian (meaning Blossom and Lotus respectively) played by child actress Miwa (undecided last name). This is also why Splinter knows some sign language to teach to his kids.

Lian is played by either Oroku Miwa (the descendant of Saki’s son/ Karai’s brother Hiroto) or Miwa Smith (with Jennika’s last name). Her and Yoshi's dynamic is very sweet and kind of parental/ fun uncle and precocious niece.

Inspirations: Mara Wilson & Danny DeVito (Matilda) in behind the scenes and Harley Keener in Iron Man 3 & Endgame and Jesper & Margu's dynamic from Klaus in JfJ and HSF.

Ok! So, this is specifically the Wormquake Part 2 cameo and the episode 'Trans-Dimensional Turtles'. I can make no claims as to the other crossovers.

Evidence to narrow it down:

Rob Paulson voices Raph- seasons 1-9

Red Sky/ Gets dark- seasons 8-10

Krang is in play- seasons 2-8

Mikey fights with nunchaku- seasons 1-3

This evidence limits the potential range to after season 1 but before season 4.

As the Usagi Yojimbo crossover takes place in season 3 and the Technodome is sent to Dimension X in the finale of that very season, I would like to hypothesize that the episode 'Trans-Dimensional Turtles' and the cameo in Wormquake Part 2 occur between seasons 3 and 4 of the 1987 TMNT.

**Upon further inspection, it should be noted that Dimension X is a place where time operates differently and the Casey cameo in Wormquake Part 1 could be spying in on the future after he and April have actually met/ sometime between season 5 and 7???**
