unsung benefit i think a lot of ppl are sleeping on with using the public library is that i think its a great replacement for the dopamine hit some ppl get from online shopping. it kind of fills that niche of reserving something that you then get to anticipate the arrival of and enjoy when it arrives, but without like, the waste and the money.

everyone talks about one-hit wonders, but no one seems to think about two-hit wonders. neon trees released “everybody talks” and “animals” and then fucked off forever. Am I happy Watcher rolled back their plan and apologized? Yes. Have I still lost any desire to watch their videos? Yes. For anyone who likes romance and spies and yearning and a short king being completely head over heels for a woman that can (and does) kick his ass, Argylle is the movie for you. Feel like the marketing team is leaving money on the table by not appealing to the romance crowd that is crying out for more genuine love stories on film and the one in this movie is actually really sweet and features an attractive couple with actual personalities.

Argylle is over the top but I fully believe if this movie came out in 2005 it would be considered a cult classic now that everybody would say "they don't make movies like this anymore"

Like that was just so much fun and twists and insanity and people are far too obsessed with realism over just having fun insane stories
