Calling all Musketeers! We’re all in need of a serious dose of our favourites, amirite? I’ve seen a few queries floating around lately asking for some great Muskie fanfic recommendations. I thought I’d do 20 weekly posts, each with a different theme, and ask for your help! There are a ton of great Muskie fics out there, let’s help each other discover them. 

How this works: For each theme, please give me your TOP recommendation. .03: frustrated and upset, manhandled and gagged, threatened, brief scuffle.

.04: ambushed and into a furious gunfight, bruised face and neck and heavily breathing, surrounded by armed men, rescued at the very last moment.

.06: under sniper’s gunpoint and chased, locked into a decontamination room, fought.

.07: worried for his partner, under gunpoint and locked into a cell, painful memories, bar fight, argued, fought and under gunfire, into a helo crash, wobbly and bruised face.

.08: wobbly and bruised face from previous episode, worried for his injured partner, almost hit by explosion blast and roughly landed on the ground, argued with his father, holding a bomb in his hands, heavily breathing and exhausted, argued with his father and upsetting news about father’s imminent death, under heavy gunfire, painful conversation and getting emotional, rough awakining, under gunpoint, emotional goodbye and tears in his eyes.

I loved Matt Barr from Sleepy Hollow, where he was a lovely irreverent Nick Hawley (gifs of episode 2.08 and a brief passage of episode 2.04).

unrelated note: i had an extremely vivid dream about Hozier(the night after seeing him in concert) where he was being portrayed by Tom Mison’s Ichabod Crane —18th century clothing and all.

I woke up absolutely devastated that it wasn’t real.
