he knows nothing beats their anniversary & even if this holiday is made by companies to try & milk love sick idiots, then he was one of them. satoru would do anything to show his love for the other, whether it be in big or small gestures. his love is the spotlight he loves to bask himself in, the attention soaks up as he navigates through his stardom. ❛ if i said yes, what are you going to do about it, suguru? ❜ he teases back, challenging the other to slather him in the honey of adoration.

satoru loves the way his cheeks are stained with rosiness, the shyness that suguru seems to exhibit due to his own actions. though he supposes suguru has seen him flushed with feelings more times than he could count. he peppers a few more kisses to his face as he pays no mind to the stares that were coming his way. satoru knows that displays like this were often frowned upon, but he never cared much for anyone's opinion other than his beloved. he was following suguru's plans but he was insistent on going to a restaurant of his choice.

there's affection in acknowledgement , as his heart skips a beat – a slight blush crossing his face from the sentiment. it was well known , that he could never get over how much satoru poured his love onto him , and there were no plans to. ❛ do you want more kisses , is that it , satoru? ❜ the whisper that leaves him is like a return of how satoru teases ; as if he would be against the endless confession of their love. fingers brush gently against the other's knee , as if he was trying to distract himself from the nerves. suguru's worry over being perceived had watered down to almost nothing over the years , from regained confidence through his time spent with his one and only [ ... ] though he could feel the moments that slipped in every so often , in the way he held awareness over the several pairs of eyes on him in any setting ; much like now.

attention is pulled from that strained thought , when he feels a kiss pressed to his cheek – the blush returning to an almost deeper shade. the smile was inescapable , as he offers a light touch to caress the side of satoru's face , wanting them to never move from moments like this. when he let himself experience this kind of love , suguru had forgotten everyone else. how empty the train felt. his senses had only been focused directly on this unwavering affection that felt rare in itself ... one he wanted to cherish forever. it stirs him up a bit , the realization that he was not entirely paying attention to their destination , too busy being on cloud nine , it only registers then : ❛ two , ❜ a pause breaks with uncertainty , and he glances over, ❛ no , the next stop actually ... ❜

he doesn't hesitate to intertwine their hands so that they could be a little closer – paying no mind to the stares that were very much still there. this reminded him of their youth , train rides together. how satoru would fall asleep on his shoulder. suguru would get lost in his eyes every single time , a sense that satoru was always taking his breath away. ❛ i only worry if you're approached while we're out. i just want you to have a nicer time away from all of it , ❜

sometimes he feels like he misses out when the higher-ups designate him to some other locale around japan or a place out of the country. gojo decides he would eat this up, it's the taste of one of his favorite desserts, decadent with the way it drips against his tongue. he didn't want to miss out on time spent with nanami & it's not like he needs the rest right away. he would settle for that later at night when him & nanami are cozy in his bed.

there's excitement in his eyes especially the slight glimmer underneath the sunglasses he decides to swap into. ❛ you're cooking for me, nanamin?! what do i owe the occassion? ❜ he is enthusiastic about having a taste of nanami's cooking & eating up the quality time he wanted with the other. gojo would of course sprinkle some touches along the way. ❛ ramen sounds good. i'm not picky, if it's made by you i'd love it instantly.❜ this time he reaches for his hand intertwining them as they stay at the comfort of his home, if only temporarily. it was a reaction to the way nanami pressed a kiss against his cheek. sometimes he thinks he's one diagnosed with love sickness, his heart hurting at the thought of being away, but enjoying every minute spent.

❛ maybe i'll grab a few snacks in case i can't sleep. did we run out of coffee?❜ he asks thoughtfully considering the other was more of a coffee drinker than he was. ❛ let's go, nanami and gojo's grocery shopping adventure.~ ❜ he hums excitedly as he pulls the blonde along towards the train station.

the kiss on the cheek was a nice touch, one also not anticipated but liked nonetheless. nanami finished smoothing out his clothing, before returning his attention to gojo. ❝ are you sure? you were gone for a few days. do you not want to rest? i'm only getting a few things. ❞

his question was quickly answered without words by gojo putting on his own jacket before he slowly nodded. he should had figured he couldn't talk him out of it. not that he wanted to. he was actually silently pleased the other wanted to come with him. aside from gojo's company, there might have been things nanami hadn't thought about getting. it would be a little outing for them, even if he believed gojo should rest just a little. he had been out working for three days.

perhaps he would cook him a warm meal for dinner. a soup of sorts maybe. he'd have to figure out what he would need though.

❝ train is fine. i do not plan on getting more than a few bags and with you to help, it should be easier for me. ❞ there was a gentle smile as he stepped forward to return the kiss on the cheek before stepping past him. ❝ i need to have one more look at what we have before we leave. would you like soup tonight? a ramen? i would start making requests now before it's too late. ❞ nanami inquired as he slipped into the kitchen.
