hot take: there is no way that empathy is actually a real thing. you're telling me that when you see someone crying, your immediate reaction is to... feel the pain they're experiencing??? what kind of made up concept is this??? you don't only do 'good' things so people see you as a good person? you just. want to help??? this isn't a persona you put on?? you're just like this???
