Must read for Sisters with Autoimmune diseases & Chronic pain
Tumblr media
Your politeness is making you sick.
Hear me out.
Many of us are spending the majority of our holidays stuffing ourself into a little box that shouldn't exist.
We're stuffing down our feelings.
We're stuffing down our beliefs.
We're stuffing down our true selves all for fear of being ostracized or disturbing the peace.
We've been taught that is the polite thing to do.
Hold it all in.
Box it all up.
Shove it all down.
And guess what? Our body is bursting at the seams to release our true identity. It's showing up as autoimmune diseases, chronic pain, sore throats, and a variety of other unexplainable illnesses.
Your body needs you to be real.
It needs you to tune in and to do and say and feel all those things you've been running from.
You are different.
Embrace it.

The Most Important Question to Keep You from Overextending Yourself this Holiday Season
Tumblr media
Hey intuitive empathic loving wild woman,
In all of the holiday hustle and bustle, remember to take care of yourself too.
As nurturers, it is easy for us to give all of our energy, money, and time to show other people how much we care about them. This leads to us giving too much, holding unrealistic expectations of the people we are giving to, and feeling drained or full of resentment. You know exactly what I mean, don't you?
One of the tools I use to prevent myself from overextending is to ask "would I want this of my daughter?" Would I want her buying these gifts? Giving to these people? Sharing this much of her energy?
I find this question helps me hone in on what I NEED to be doing for myself so I can make grounded choices.
Give it a try and see if it helps you too.

We must speak about the things that fill us with passion and inspiration. We must pursue those dreams! Every time we do, we inspire someone else to go after their desires. Y'all, this world could use a lot more people fearlessly creating a life they love! When I first began openly reading Tarot, I was scared. My hands shook as I uploaded an image of my face on this Instagram Profile. My husband assured me it wasn't that big of a deal, I wouldn't be burned at the stake. My family would understand. You see, I come from a lineage of polar opposites. One side of my family is extremely conservative and religious. The other is a group of science loving progressive liberals who are mainly atheist or agnostic. I feared I would be persecuted by both sides...but I did it anyway. Wouldn't you know it, all of my family, in-laws included, are accepting of the life I've created. This Thanksgiving I was able to discuss Moon phases, crystals, tinctures, herbalism, Astrology, Tarot and more. I showed up by being honest about what I was passionate about and I have been greatly rewarded with fulfilling conversation and acceptance. Let go of the fear. Speak about what fills you up! My final piece of advice for the Gemini Full Moon tomorrow is to embrace the crazy! This Moon is known as the Reflection Moon. It gives you the opportunity to reconsider how you reflect, react, and communicate. Go with it! Remember, you can change and grow. You do not have to be triggered. You can be strong and firmly grounded. You can reflect Old Uncle Jim Bo's energy instead of absorbing it. Heck, if you wanted to, you could take advantage of the extra self-awareness this moon by asking him clarifying questions related to his point of view. Maybe facilitating reflection will be good for both of you. If there are aspects of your life that you've been wanting to release, tomorrow is a good day to do it. Reflect. Release. Grow. You can do this! Prepare your friends and family for tomorrow's Full Moon by tagging them in the comments. I've got 4 other tips to help you stay grounded this Thanksgiving that you can view in my Free Facebook group www.facebook.com/groups/newmoontribe 📸 By @elizabeth.ellen.photography (at Charlotte, North Carolina) https://www.instagram.com/p/BqdCSFwHcot/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=f0yabe1awjix

Do you have a goal or intention that you aren't sure how to bring to fruition? You know what you want, you just have no clue how to get there. Write down your intention and then create a little ritual using the element of Air. Air refreshes and revives. Air helps us clear a path. Air changes our perspective. Air is a good element to work with if you want to change how you spend your time or if you want to move your physical location. I've shared how the other elements can help us supercharge our intentions inside of the Harvest and Moon Sisterhood. We'll be learning all kinds of things related to personal magic and divination this month. Now is the perfect time to join us www.harvestandmoon.com/Sisterhood. Grounding With Other Elements
Water:
Sit in a body of water, a natural one or a bath. Feel where the water touches your skin. Find the line at the surface, where it touches you. Go around your whole body. Feel weightless.
Drink a glass of water, slowly and steadily. Feel it travel down your throat and into the rest of your body. Finish the glass.
Listen to the rain, the waves, the babbling brook. Feel the sound. Let it vibrate through you until your vibrations match.
Air:
Feel the wind on your face. Let the spread-out pieces of you be picked up by the wind, and pushed back to you. Let the wind carry the unnecessary stresses away.
Deep breath in. Deep breath out. Repeat.
Take a word, sound, or phrase. Repeat it or sing it, find that pitch and speed that feels right.
Fire:
Feel the heat from a fire, let it warm your bones.
You are a candle flame. Sit or stand tall. Let the excess energy burn up and out the top of your head like smoke. Flicker as needed.
Turn off the lights, light a candle. Watch its light flicker on the walls. Melt into the room.

Bonding With Each Element
Earth
Taking a walk in a park or forest
Planting
Picking flowers (though, not from other people’s gardens, of course)
Grounding, meditating, etc.
-The key is to surround yourself with nature, whether it be sounds of nature, or even getting into kitchen magic, which will involve herbs.
Air
Taking a stroll on a breezy day
Sitting in front of a fan (as an alternative to the above)
Anything creative (Dancing, singing, etc)
Divination (Smoke of an incense, crystal ball, taro/cartomancy, etc)
-The wind element is about expressing and realizing your creativity and talent. By doing this, you are bonding with the element.
Fire
Meditation with a lit candle
Drinking a cup of freshly brewed hot tea or coffee (don’t burn your mouth, now)
Activity that involves breaking a sweat (exercise, etc)
-Fire is about passion and anger, whether releasing that anger so it does not build up inside of you, or invoking a passion you have for something. This intensity will help you bond with the element.
Water
Taking a long shower or bath
Making Sun or Moon Water
Collecting Rain/Snow/Storm/Sea Water
Dream Magick: making peaceful sleep satchets, etc
-Water is about purification, love, and psychic awareness. Cleansing yourself daily, charging water for a specific use, and healing will help you bond with this element.

🕯️ Reading Candles for Yes-or-No Questions 🕯️
Tumblr media
🔥 High, steady flame - Yes.
🔥 Low, steady flame - No.
🔥 Short, weak flame - No.
🔥 Dancing flame - Needs more focus. Re-ground, concentrate, and ask again.
🔥 Violently flickering flame - Strong no. Take this as a warning (if you are positive the flickering is not caused by any outside force).
🔥 Sputtering and crackling flame - There is more to your answer than a simple yes or no.
🔥 Dual-Flame - Thinking, wait for your answer.
🔥 Flame leaning to the left - Yes.
🔥 Flame leaning to the right - No.
🔥 Candle will not light - Now is not the right time to ask.
🔥 Candle will not go out - You are not done yet. There is more to your answer that you need to hear.
🔥 Candle goes out on its own before giving an answer - Now is not the right time to ask.
