Ambrose Answer: Of course! The Spiral is always in need of bright new students willing to make the effort to protect our worlds from grave dangers. And there's so much to do beyond just that! Meet all sorts of new friends and allies, and become the wizard you want to be! (Not Sponsored)

Mod Answer: [That's entirely up to you. The game is free to play, but to experience EVERY bit of it (because Kingsisle hasn't yet released the first arc as free to play for some reason), you'd have to purchase a membership OR pay for every area with crowns. The choice is yours. I myself enjoy the game, but I'm one of those people who phases in and out every now and then. Y'know, other interests, life and shit, the whole enchilada. I'd recommend it, but only if you really wanna make the investment. If you do, though, enjoy the game!

Side note: I'd recommend getting invested during one of their "first arc free" promotions, see if you wanna continue the game after Dragonspyre, and purchase from there.]

The younger first-year wizards are speaking some sort of dialect I haven't heard of in any ancient tomes. A handful of the older students tell me not to worry about it, but I'm not so sure I can ignore the young wizards parading around saying nonsense like "gyatt" and "rizz".
