hi im back after reading most of the things and the skizz is a magic sponge gave me thoughts.

magical artifact that allows humans to shunt or drain magic out of their body to preserve their natural form so that they can ... idk be human. idk who would want to be human in this fantastic world BUT.

hypno being a human with this artifact or a prototype of it that has kept it secret somehow. maybe being a human that was swapped for a changeling fae (yknow the stories of fae stealing children and replacing it with their ugly offspring) who has somehow survived the fae courts and stayed human.

BONUS THOUGHT:

if hypno isn't a changeling then jevin being his human friend he came with that succumbed to magic and had a strange reaction where the magic literally seeped into his flesh and started liquifying it. so hypno's side quest is to find something to help jevin keep his meat on his bones.

Which is particularly unfortunate for one Skizz Elman, as, having already passed the 'Point A' of being summoned to this realm, neither he nor the God/King/Prophecy Guy Joel have any idea what he's supposed to do so he can save the realm

Guess Skizz will just have to improvise. In the meantime... Maybe he should try and figure out what the deal with this place even is

I have only now realized that my intention in the original summary wasn't quite clear, leading to a few confusing asks and confused people. I would just like to clarify that the intention was for Joel to be the god that summoned Skizz. Looking back now, it was never explicitly stated, only implied- sorry about that! But yeah. Joel summoned Skizz because of the prophecy. Asks with another reason for Skizz being here will be posted as alternates.

Scar has a zoo that contains a whole host of magical creatures. Unfortunately all of them are people who made deals they couldn't keep. He has tried a total of 7 times to trick Skizz into making such a deal. After all a human from a different world is certainly the rarest creature in Hermiton.

When Skizz was teleported to this world, he was wearing a business suit. Very quickly the sleeves were near-perfectly torn off in a wacky incident, but since then it hasn't seen a scratch... must have picked up some protective magic, somehow. Perhaps someone with an affinity for clothing noticed the accident with the sleeves, and took pity on him for only having the one outfit? (He is not upset about losing the sleeves, and having magically strong clothes is great too!)
