And then Nadia's husband fell sick, and then Nadia made friends who kept walking into danger, and then when Nadia walked with them she fell asleep for three whole years, leaving Chandra all on her own

And when her mistress woke up again ... she didn't remember how to speak to her

The Arcana Mini-HCs: M6 when MC likes "kid's shows"

Julian: doesn't judge you for it at all and will try to watch it with you. except (because he has no shame) he will make loud references to it in public in broad daylight, instantly befriending every child nearby

Asra: watches them with you and then gets mildly uncomfortable when it starts to pull out their own inner child. he has a lot to unpack and he'd rather do it on his own terms, thank you very much

Nadia: will watch the first few episodes of whatever you're into and politely engage with it, but doesn't find it to her personal taste. will still put effort into knowing enough about it to follow your interests

Muriel: he doesn't watch kids shows. he'll just sit nearby with his carving and keep you company. he'll take a break from carving to pay attention to that dialogue. ... no, he's not sniffling at the happy family

Portia: watches it with you for the snuggles, doesn't get as invested as you do (she still likes her TV dramas) but does enjoy them quite a bit! will snap up any children's merch she sees for you if it's on sale

Lucio: scoffed at you the first time you sat down to watch it, and then became even more invested than you are. you had to wait to watch Bluey together and now you couldn't pry it from his cold, dead hands

Julian: his creative gifting leans heavily into acting and music and dancing - anything involving a quill pen is half-legible at best. once he learns how to make artistic, edgy collages, though, it's over

Asra: they love painting. enjoys the process more than the result, especially if it involves water balloons full of neon dye, a pair of white canvas shirts, and the two of you in swimsuits and a playful mood

Nadia: she does art as far as playing the organ goes, but prefers spending her free time tinkering. that said, if it's calligraphy focused, she's unmatched. nobody wields a quill and ink like she does

Muriel: if you ask him, he'll tell you he doesn't do art. if you watch him, you'll see the carefully maintained carving tools and embroidery kit on his shelf and the steady precision typical of a true craftsman

Portia: not really into it - she enjoys admiring other people when they do it, and drawing the occasional silly Pepi doodle on her emissary documents, but she'd rather read a book or go dancing with you

Lucio: well hey, if you're going to make art of something, your greatest muse ever just so happens to be your partner, so what do you say? he'll pose! and then he'll take half the credit for the piece too

But as of writing this ask (dw if you write this days later, just saying that for perspective) we're going through a tough time with a trauma anniversary. We're handling it okay, but doesn't mean it's not rough. We were wondering if you could make some soft mini headcannons for how the M6 help MC with a big trauma anniversary? The Arcana Mini-HCs: M6 on MC's trauma anniversary

Julian: the type to remember in the months leading up and then completely forget the week of. still manages to take time off last minute so he can distract you/comfort you/care for you

Asra: will intuitively remember, mostly because at this point they feel the shadow of your own state half the time. will take you somewhere quiet and peaceful for a couple of weeks so you have a safe space

Nadia: didn't know the anniversary of it would affect you until you told her - when you did, she marked it on her calendar and has guarded that time zealously to spend it taking care of you

Muriel: has plenty of his own trauma anniversaries and understood what was going on before you did. started silently stockpiling all of your comfort/safe items and planned ahead to have more time

Portia: put it on her calendar the first time it came up and started checking in with you every couple days in the month before it. takes the day of off of work and spends it pampering and snuggling you

Lucio: trauma anniversaries? those are a thing? huh! yeah, he'll spend yours with you, you're the best thing in his life and protecting you is his favorite duty (also, this is explaining more than he wants it to ...)

Hello, I was wondering if I could request a mini HC of the M6 with a partner who grew up at the docks like Muriel and Asra did?

The Arcana Mini-HCs: When MC grew up on the docks

Julian: happy to hear you talk about it and will soak up any story you share like a sponge. will also overestimate the extent to which it currently affects you and needs to be reminded that you're ok now

Asra: they hate that you had to suffer the same thing they did, but they like having something in common to tie you two together (as if a heart isn't enough already -) not afraid to reference it if it's relevant

Nadia: feels a fair amount of guilt, knowing that she went through a period of turning a blind eye to Vesuvia's suffering when her own childhood was so luxurious. very delicate about the matter

Muriel: doesn't say much on the outside, thinking of it frequently on the inside. it means the world to him that you intrinsically understand at least some of his patchwork background, and he loves you for it

Portia: when you discuss it, her already high empathy levels overflow. might romanticize it on accident now and then, is quick to apologize. extremely protective towards current dock children as a result

Lucio: doesn't like to think about it, at all: 1, yeah, he remembers the kids around the dock, and remembers the situation first hand, 2, it reminds him a little much of a different, but similar childhood

Mini Hc for the M6's reactions to Mc returning from a market trip and handing them a can of non-toxic 'gender fluid'

The Arcana Mini-HCs: MC gives M6 a drink called "gender fluid"

Julian - still fairly skeptical about what exactly "non-toxic" means, quickly changes his mind when he sees the caffeine content

Asra - downs the entire thing without thinking, then reads over the packaging with increasingly hyper giggles before searching for more

Nadia - not very interested in tasting it, would much rather chuckle over the labeling and then put it on a shelf to admire occasionally

Muriel - doesn't realize it's a gift and assumes you're just showing it to him. will look it over with a small smirk before handing it back

Portia - more interested in where you found it and who came up with it than she is in actually tasting it. will drink it at some point, though

Lucio - thinks you've just given him an energy drink, doesn't look at the label until he notices it tastes different. might ask you to explain

Muriel - crackers, ham, and cheese. it's a classic and involve as little fuss and mess as possible

Portia - mini burgers. if she can't host a barbecue of some kind, she's carrying it with her

Lucio - peanut butter and grape jelly crackers, to make up for the lunches his mom never packed him

Hi! Okay this is my first time doing an ask so I hope I'm doing this right 🤞

I got into the Arcana very recently and I fell in love with it and then I found your blog (it's fantastic!!!) and since it's exam season in my college rn, it got me thinking: what would M6 be like as college students? Who's got the best notes, who pays attention in every single class and who's the one running on 2 hours of sleep and a single meal of instant noodles (though I feel like we already know the answer to that one lol) and who has 0% attendance but still aces their exams? (Ofc these are only examples, feel free to expand on these ideas if you want)

The Arcana Mini-HCs: M6 as college students

Julian - as suggested, he's the one with 0 sleep and too much sodium and caffeine in his blood to realistically be thinking straight (spoiler alert: he isn't) still aces all his classes and charms the profs

Asra - has mastered the art of snoozing and listening at the same time. their attendance is awful but their grades are good because the chaos that is their assignments intimidates the profs into passing it

Nadia - so put together it's terrifying. carries an expensive-looking tumbler perpetually full of tea in her manicured fingertips that she sips silently from through class. (her teeth are cracking from stress)

Muriel - got started on a sports scholarship, but outside of official events does solo practice. otherwise spends all his time in the arts buildings so he doesn't get judged and can help with set construction

Portia - That One Student who somehow knows the name of everyone on campus (including staff), leads multiple groups, started a volunteer work initiative, hosts dinners, and works part-time

Lucio - only shows up to class when he's bored, bombs all his tests but still passes because his coaches pull some strings, throws the best parties but won't join a fraternity because it means committing
