It's beautiful and sad, all at the same time. It's more a reflection for me of Hawk X Skippy during their earlier stages. Because as we see in the earlier stages between them, like the song is reflected more if the partner could truly understand their thoughts, they might be able to salvage the relationship. They lose so much time between the final moment we see them before time leaves for War and 1968 at the cabin and again in the 70s.

The scene where Hawk was shown the most in love with Tim, the way he's treating Tim like his precious baby here, running his fingers through his hair lovingly, hugging him close, rubbing his hand on his back and that repeated little scratching on his back was so full of love and endearment gosh Tim being just as equally smitten with his signature cute booping on Hawk's nose, this scene is so magically cozy and Jonathan Bailey looked the most beautiful during this shot too, look at him a literal baby.
